On one hand, he wants to accept some of these memories. But on the other hand, he doesn't want to accept some others. All these mixed-up memories feel real to Ray.
In one of his memories, his sister Cecilia died for an unknown reason. In another memory, he feels that he is the one who killed his sister. And there's another memory showing his sister's smiling face in Ray's arms before her death.
But there are also memories where Cecilia is living happily with him until now. There are also memories of Cecilia smiling happily with him and living until now. And there are a few memories showing their everyday togetherness back in the previous world.
