Ray walked and stumbled upon Harry's bedroom. He peered inside and found Harry alone, organizing his belongings.
Harry, in the midst of tidying up, suddenly noticed Ray's presence. He called out to Ray, "Hey, what are you doing? Hurry up and gather your things! Didn't you hear what Mr. Devin said? He gave us some horse-drawn carriages to use."
Before they headed back to Mr. Devin's residence, Ray was startled by the revelation that Mr. Devin was actually the old man who yelled at him at the cemetery earlier. It left Ray feeling conflicted, as he saw a different side of the old man.
No... This is my end. This is what I've been waiting for.
Ray smiled briefly and left Harry alone in the room.
Feeling ignored, Harry tried calling out to Ray repeatedly. But he sensed that Ray was in a state where he couldn't be engaged in conversation. Harry sighed and continued packing his belongings, muttering, "What's happening to him?"
