Only three hours after the witch hunters entered the sewer, as they appeared on the scene, the ghoul disaster passed the initial chaotic defense period and turned to counterattack. With Murphy leading a team into the sewers himself, the battle tonight entered its most heated stage.
Thanks to the fearless little players who initially bought some time, not many ghouls surged to the surface before the emergency deployment of the Cadman People's Army and the establishment of several frontlines.
However, a number of ghouls inadvertently found the city's open chasm, an open rock face. They rushed out from the crack in the rock, which was nearly cut open at 90°, and fell down to the deeper part of the gorge. They were subsequently swallowed by the rolling Star Realm aura there.
What exactly lies at the bottom of the city gorge remains an "unsolved mystery".
