As Shiiyo made his way to Aizeah, Creed, and Risky already fighting the first horde of demons, "Eat led you, ugly bastards!" Risky exclaimed fending off the demon with his rifle, Creed activated one of his skills "Radiant Blessing" buffing every adventurer within the vicinity.
The sound of gunshots, magic, screams, and clashing of steel and flesh echoed through the air the plan of just taking down a Wyvern became a warzone, Creed and Risky back to back shooting down foes, "This is pretty bad Capt, how did things turn out to this" Risky telling Creed while shooting down demons, "Beats me. but, all we can do now is hold out till reinforcement arrive, we can't let this demon do what they wa-" but Creed's line was cut because something just fell from the sky.
As soon as they turned around the Wyvern was already behind them, Risky with a grin and nervous chuckle "Forget the demon, this lizard wants to play". Creed with a determined face "If it's a fight it wants! It's a fight it'll get!"
Shiiyo, breathless from the urgency of the situation, relayed the dire news to Aizeah. His words echoed among the stationed adventurers, spreading a palpable sense of fear.
"A-demon general?"
"This is bad!"
"Guild master, what should we do?"
Aizeah, responding to the unsettling murmurs, clenched her fist with determination. Her gaze fell upon the sword by her side, and she grabbed it resolutely. In a decisive tone, she declared, "I'm going in."
Gripping her weapon, Aizeah strode out of the tent, with Shiiyo at her side. As they moved, Aizeah commanded Shiiyo, "Tell me everything about the situation."
"By now, we have the Wyvern commanded by a demon general. We still don't know the identity of their leader, but I'm pretty sure that general is not to be taken lightly," Shiiyo explained the full details. He continued, "We also have approximately two hundred demon armies in sight, and it looks like our men are currently fending them off."
Acknowledging Shiiyo's report, Aizeah's irritation surfaced in her voice. "Tsk, why now? Why did they suddenly make a move?" The urgency of the situation intensified as they raced towards the unfolding chaos, uncertainty hanging in the air like an impending storm.
The battle between Risky, Creed, and Kyru against the Wyvern raged on, the air filled with the clash of steel, the roars of the beast, and the occasional quips exchanged over the radio.
Risky, with his sword in hand, executed a series of swift slashes, aiming for the Wyvern's vulnerable spots. He grinned as he taunted, "Hey, ugly! I'm about to make a hat out of you!" The Wyvern, seemingly unamused, retaliated with a thunderous roar and a tail swipe, narrowly missing Risky as he dodged with a nimble roll.
Creed, ever the tactician, utilized his magic skills, casting radiant spells to weaken the Wyvern's defenses. Amid the chaos, he quipped over the radio, "Kyru, any chance you brought some flash pods? We could use a breather here!" Kyru, perched in the trees, replied with a chuckle, "Sorry, Captain, I left those in my other pants. But I do have some well-done steaks for later!"
Kyru continued his precision shots from a distance, targeting the Wyvern's wings to hinder its flight. He mused over the radio, "This feels like one of those quests where you forget to bring cool drinks and end up sweating the whole time." Risky, blocking a fiery breath attack with his sword, retorted, "Oh, I wish I had brought a Shock Trap with me!"
The Wyvern, recognizing Kyru's threat from above, unleashed a torrent of fiery breath into the trees. Kyru gracefully swung from branch to branch, avoiding the flames. He chuckled, "Guess the lizard's got a grudge against tree-dwelling snipers!"
As the battle intensified, the adventurers' teamwork and banter remained unwavering. Each strike, dodge, and witty remark brought them one step closer to victory. Yet, the Wyvern's cunning tactics and the looming presence of the unseen Demon General hinted that the real challenge had only just begun.
The relentless battle against the Wyvern reached a climax, with Risky, Creed, and Kyru coordinating their attacks. As the Wyvern struggled under the onslaught, its roars became more desperate. Kyru, still perched in the trees, took careful aim at the Wyvern's weakened wings, firing precise shots to limit its mobility.
Creed, utilizing his magical abilities, conjured radiant spells to further weaken the creature's defenses. Amidst the chaos, he couldn't help but quip, "This feels like one of those boss fights where you're just a few hits away from victory, but you know there's always a surprise waiting."
Risky, locked in close combat with the Wyvern, delivered powerful strikes with his sword. He yelled back to Kyru, "Hey, shoot it in the tail or something! I heard you get better loot if you cut off the tail!" Kyru replied with a smirk, "You've been playing too many video games, Risky!"
The Wyvern, battered and wounded, attempted to take flight in a final act of defiance. Risky, noticing its intent, shouted over the radio, "It's trying to get away! Don't let it escape!" The adventurers intensified their assault, determined to prevent the Wyvern from fleeing.
As the Wyvern spread its wings to take flight, a giant magic circle opened above it. Shiiyo, in the background, began chanting a powerful spell. The words echoed with ancient power, and the air crackled with celestial energy. The adventurers watched in awe as a barrage of celestial artillery rained down on the Wyvern, shaking the very ground beneath them.
The smoke cleared, revealing the Wyvern heavily wounded and grounded. Shiiyo stood on a cliff, his presence commanding and powerful. Beside him, Guild Master Aizeah held her sword with a triumphant expression. The combined efforts of the adventurers, coupled with the celestial artillery, had turned the tide.
Risky, catching his breath, couldn't help but exclaim, "Well, that's one way to end a hunt!" Kyru, still perched in the trees, added with a grin, "I guess we just got a little celestial intervention!" Creed, ever the strategist, nodded in approval. The Wyvern, now on the verge of defeat, emitted a final, defiant roar. The battle was nearing its end, but the looming presence of the unseen Demon General hinted that a greater challenge awaited them.
As the Wyvern lay wounded from Shiiyo's magical assault, the triumphant atmosphere filled the air. Creed and Risky exchanged a glance and gave Shiiyo a thumbs up. Over the radio, Shiiyo chimed in, "Looks like we made it in time." Creed, still catching his breath, responded, "Yeah, we took down this son of a bitch." Risky chuckled breathlessly, "Since when did you learn airstrike?" Shiiyo adjusted his glasses with a smirk, "While you guys studied the blade, I studied magic." Laughter echoed through the radio as the three shared a moment of victory.
Creed, turning his attention back to the fallen Wyvern, suggested with a grin, "Alright, let's make a fancy hat from this guy." As Creed and Risky approached the Wyvern, their celebration was abruptly halted by the sudden appearance of a mysterious figure. Shocked and frozen in fear, they felt an intimidating aura emanating from the newcomer.
"Well, well, well, looks like I underestimated the humans after all," the figure spoke. In a child-like appearance with pink hair, horns, and a devil tail, she stared at Creed and Risky. Suddenly, her eyes glowed, and a powerful gravitational force forced the two adventurers to the ground. Struggling to move, Creed managed to mutter, "I can't...move."
The mysterious figure introduced herself with a slight bow, "Allow me to introduce myself. I'm one of the Demon Lord Azazel's generals, and I go by the name of Malphas." As Creed and Risky continued to struggle against the intense gravity, Malphas advanced toward them with a sinister grin. "Struggle all you want, worms. There's nothing you can do." With a demonic gauntlet, she prepared to strike Risky.
Just as the ominous spear-shaped attack was about to descend, a clash of steel interrupted the impending strike. Before them stood Guild Master Aizeah Rheavyn, resolute and determined. She blocked Malphas's attack and declared, "You are not hurting these boys. Not on my watch!" Malphas, unfazed, responded with an evil smile, "Heh, let's see what you've got, human!" The confrontation between Aizeah and Malphas escalated, setting the stage for a battle between two formidable forces.
