"Sss.."
A familiar sound cut through the surroundings of the forest making the orcs stop their movements and shouts, Sar'har turned in the direction of the sounds she too had heard as something flew right past her head...Not just her but the rest of the orcs as well, some not as lucky as her.
Throwing herself to the ground, Sar'har screamed at the top of her lungs...
"GET DOWN NOW!"
Those that were lucky enough to dodge or stay alive from such a demonic sneak attack that the orcs despised, from the eight numbers that they had, they were reduced to just four, half of their force reduced in the blink of their eye.
A large snake like creature with wings on its back and limbs that were short for its build nut still allowed its short walk on land...It was a famous creature amongst the vast amounts of different dangerous beasts in this forest.
"A Basilisk?" Sar'har screamed out as she dodged another wind slash formed by the powers of the basilisk, its red eyes staring into the eyes of the other orcs when it sensed sar'har dodge its gaze. Turning two orcs became paralyzed with fear as it moved at a very fast speed with its huge body, slamming head first into the magic warrior whom raised her guard.
Thrown back and slamming into the trunk of a tree knocking the wind out of her lungs as she wheezed, looking down at her stomach, there was a hole nearly three inches into her body. Coughing out blood, she looked up to see the basilisk swallowing her kin whole..
Trying to get up, she channeled the mana in her blood to make her wounds heal faster as she groaned and grunted, the wound healing faster as could be seen immediately, she dared not remove her eyes from the body of the Basilisk, looking for her axe immediately as well.
Spotting it at a distance from where she stood nearly a few meters away, seeing her stand, the basilisk attacked once more, forming wind arrows and slashes towards her as she dodged it, jumping aside and rolling towards the weapon, she was scared shitless but she could not die here.
Standing as seeing the basilisk fail at its attacks towards her, she looked at the bodies of her kin laid out on the ground, running towards them, she grabbed a body and threw it towards the basilisk, whom opened its mouth wide, its eyes mocking the stupid orc....its food throwing foot at it?
But the orc disappeared from where it stood, Opening its eyes wide to look clearly at its surroundings however it could not see the orc whom used the body of its sacrificed dead kin to hide.
Jumping out from behind the large body of her dead kin that was about to enter the mouth of the basilisk, Sar'har swung her axe at its left eye, slashing deeply into it and falling from the height, much normal to her.
"SKREEEEE" A shrill scream erupted from the basilisk as it felt this pain probably for the first time of its life, ha, to anyone without one eye it probably would.
"You fucking deserve it, arsehole" Sar'har cursed as she fled from there, she wasn't strong enough to fight a monster like that, she was lucky to injure it but that would never be enough.
Opening its other eye, it looked for its prey whom took its eyes...enraged, it started its chase, following Sar'har by scent. Looking behind as she ran, Sar'har knew that she wouldn't escape this beast if it took the air but as long as it stayed on land, she had a chance....
That was until she slowed her speed, realising that she was running back to her tribe, where the possibility of them getting wiped out would not be high but the injuries and mortality would still be significant.
Turning her direction a full one-eighty degrees, Sar'har ran back towards the damn beast...she may hate her weak tribe as well as her weak self but she could not allow any more harm come go them.
"Oh? There you are." A voice called out to her from the sky as she looked up to see the black robed mage, a silver armoured Knight and the child which she owes her life to...
"You..." Sar'har was about to say as the Badilisk burst forth from the woods, ignoring the new arrivals and focusing its rage and attention on Sar'har.
"So you need my help again?" Gates questioned as he watched the basilisk charge towards his magic Warrior...
"Yes! Yes, now..." Sar'har replied immediately as Gates dropped in front of her, the basilisk seeing the puny human charged with its head first, wanting to end the lives of both the puny human and the prey that struggled against it, reaping its eye in the process.
"Oh, you damn snake..."
"Master!"
"Youngest master"
Gates, Rosalia and Yusuf voiced their thoughts as Gates took a stance, and threw a punch just as the basilisks head was about to collide with him.
BOOM!
Gates used all his strength in that punch, unlike with his father, he suspected that his father's full strength was about three-quarter of his full strength but if his father enhanced his body, he would be very strong.
Sliding backwards with his left hand stretched behind holding and keeping Sar'har stable, the basilisk was blown backwards as it slammed into the tree, its scales penetrated as a blunt hole the size of a child's fist could be seen at the top of its head.
Yusuf within his robe stared wide eyed and mouth agape as he saw the craziest scene he had ever seen in his life.
Rosalia nodded her head, fully accepting the bizarre situation while Sar'har just stared unbelievably at the scene in front of her eyes and yet, felt something different on her body,
Looking down, she saw Gates left had gripping her chest as he noticed this too, removing his hand and straightening himself, he turned to her,
"Now, Sar'har...You owe me two lives."
