Destroying the earth beneath them for a hundred meters and more, Gates clung to the stump of the once majestic wing of the basilisk,
Swirling around in pain as it got up on its legs, Gates got away from the beast, flying back into the sky....his mana was low, very low, he expended most of his mana in this one attack, and wasn't sure he could create any more powerful attacks anymore.
And yet, his wicked smile and playful eyes never once faded from his countenance, and his posture redefining his confidence towards this malicious beast.
"And this is why I have you three" Gates said as he felt a powerful churn of the mana in the environment, flying towards him was a spear made fully out of lightening and wind, with the latter being the handle for such a dangerous weapon.
The basilisk saw that power and brought forth the power of wind to surround it, protect it but even its instincts warned it, That power in the attack would end it.
