The others would often tease Baizhu about a incident he had while delivering some groceries to the locals, one of their cats scratched him on the face. "Oh, look here comes the Catalyst" they would say while emphasizing on the cat part. "Shut up, being a Catalyst means that you are very important, and also being very loyal and not letting silly things get in the way" he responded sharply. "Well, don't be too discouraged, Baizhu, no matter what weapon you use, you still are very useful to the team" said Collei while trying to comfort Baizhu. "Yeah, you heard what Collei said, Nahida, I'm still very important " he said boastfully. Nahida had an idea to make Baizhu see sense. "You know, Baizhu, you would be the perfect match for Kirara" said Nahida jokingly. "Who's Kirara?" Baizhu asked. "She's just came today, she only visits temporarily because she lives far away" "Ok, and what's so special about her?" "She's dressed like a cat, and she often claims that Catalysts are useless and that people who use Swords like her are superior" Nahida said. "Well, I'll prove to that Kirara that Catalysts are superior compared to those useless Swords" "Alrighty then, but you have to deliver some veggies to the locals again, and here's the list of all the things you need" said Nahida while winking. "Watch me as I send her packing for a while" he said while going to deliver the vegetables. At the road next to the first house where he was going, he saw Kirara there with vegetables too. "I suppose you must be Kirara" he asked with disdain. "And you're Baizhu, I suppose, you swank around being a Catalyst, pretending you're as good as me!" she clapped back. "Actually, I'm better, goodbye" And he went happily away. "You know what, I challenge you to see who can deliver the groceries faster" she said hastily. "Oh, it's on, little girl!" said Baizhu. So off they went, racing across the streets. Eventually, Kirara got in front of Baizhu. "Get out of my way, you're slowing me down" the irritated Dendro said. "That's the point, you see, you Catalysts never learn to take your time" she said. "Say you Catalysts again, I dare you" Baizhu said apprehensively. "You Catalysts should've been lost to time" she uttered. Baizhu then ripped a hole in Kirara's bag. "Maybe that'll teach you to respect us now" remarked Baizhu. Kirara then waited until Baizhu had to deliver his last bag. "Ok, this is the last bag, then I'll show that girl that I'm better" he boastfully said. Then Kirara came and scratched him on the cheek. "Ya boo, snub!" she said while running away. Then Baizhu came and tackled her. "Get off of me!" she said. "Not unless you learn to respect Catalysts" he fumed. The locals were furious with the two, meanwhile Baizhu and Kirara were arguing. "Alright alright alright, what's the commotion?!" said Dori as she stopped the argument. "This child has no respect for us Catalysts" said Baizhu. "And he won't stop talking about how he's better than me!" spewed Kirara. "Just go home please, I don't have time to deal with this, good day to you both" Dori said before heading home. When Baizhu came back and told them what happened, Nahida didn't laugh. "Oh my, I'm sorry my plan didn't work as expected" said the Archon. "No no, we'll think of something else" responded Collei. But there was no need, as Xiangling came to pick up some vegetables. "My my, would you look at this, Baizhu tried to prove he's a great Catalyst, but got outsmarted by the Cat, and got scratched for the second time, well Baizhu, you know what they say, "Once is a blessing, twice is a curse!" she laughed, leaving the poor Dendro embarrassed.
