Yoimiya's battle skills have been improving vastly ever since she's been training with Raiden. "You know, you're not a bad fighter, Yoimiya, all we need to work on is your stance and reaction time to certain attacks" said the Shogun while having their usual session. "Yeah, I know, but I'm feeling pretty tired, so I'ma just chill for a while" said the exhausted Pyro. "It's important to get some rest, sleep helps with your overall physical strength" Raiden informed. "You're right, but I always had one question that I wanted to ask, how did you become the famous Raiden Shogun that we know today?" asked Yoimiya. "Well it's a story that dates back hundreds of years, and has many twists and turns, ups and down, so that means I have to separate the major events individually, so with all that said, are you ready, young Pyro?" she asked fiercely. The Pyro just shook her head with childlike glee. "500 years ago, yes I know that's a long time, I had an original name, which was Ei. "I'll explain why I changed it later" she added. "I had a older sister, her name was Baal, me and her were both from Southeast Asia, and ever since we were little girls , our goal was to train to be masters of the Electro element, and maybe might be Archons one day, we didn't rely on it though, only saw it as an afterthought" Yoimiya just chuckled. "When we were young adults, we wanted to find a job that suited both of us, we saw that a person in red named Murata was telling people that if she joined her squad, they'll become the strongest of their element type". "Me and Baal quickly went to her and ask if we could join, she said yes, and so the fun began" "Murata was a great mentor figure and boss for both of us, although it wasn't always like that" "Around 1570 or so, I had my first duty, I had to milk a cow, meanwhile Baal was setting up tents" "I don't want to milk a smelly cow!" "I said with disdain. "I want to travel around and see the world" "You will do the required task you are given" said Murata sternly. "I gave her my infamous look, she didn't know how to work with us Electros since she was a Pyro, she tried to pour water on me, but I didn't budge" "So she tried again the next day, then the next, and next, until eventually she was fed up with me" "I'll put you in that tent and shut you inside of there until you learn to have sense!" she said furiously. "She poked some holes so I could breathe, oh, I couldn't describe to you the way that I felt even without trying" she said. "Served you right for not doing your job" added Yoimiya. "Don't worry, after a few days, I was let out and learned sense" "My next job was quite unusual, Murata told me to meet me in the open field at 5, I didn't know why, but I happily waited until it was time" "Baal was the more stern and serious one, I was the more bouncy and cheerful one" "You know, Ei, if you want to be a true Electro, you must know that every job you do matters" she told me. "Actually, if every job matters, why didn't you finish yours yesterday, you forgot to set up your own tent, so you just contradicted your own self" I said playfully. Baal became offended, "How did you know that, please don't tell Murata!" she said hastily. "I won't, but you must know that twins always end up making the same mistakes" "And off I went to sleep in my tent, leaving my twin with some thinking to do" "You can continue, I got plenty of time" Yoimiya assured. "Very well then" said the Electro, and on she continued. "It was time to meet Murata at the field, some inspectors came to survey the area, some directors came too" "Murata gave me a sword to use, and she grabbed her weapon" "I need to show them that you're a good fighter, so don't try to hold back, I know you don't have any fighting experience, so just try your best" she whispered. "Our duel was pretty standard, I just swung my weapon at Murata, and as time went on, I started to swing more aggressively, until eventually I knocked her down" "The directors became silent, the inspectors took some notes, and Baal's eyes boggled" "I quickly apologized, but then she just laughed" "That was quite splendid, Ei, you've made everyone impressed, I'm proud of ya!" she exclaimed proudly" "Then she whispered something to one of the directors" "I want you to make her a personalized weapon by tomorrow morning" "I heard what she said, I just smiled and went to sleep" "Wow, I didn't know you knocked down the Archon of Pyro herself, was that a sign of you getting stronger?" asked the Pyro. "Probably, but let's not get ahead of ourselves" So Raiden continued. "A few weeks passed, and I was getting more recognition than Baal, I was rewarded with my very own weapon and hairclip, which the others called a 'scalp-snapper' " "I talked endlessly about my new sword, this made Baal crossed" "You should get a personalized weapon like me, then you'll look like a splendid Electro" "No thanks, you look like a murderer with that thing on your side!" she snapped. "Well you need to figure out how to restyle that hair of yours!" I shot back" "We kept arguing until eventually Murata came and had to settle the dispute, she turned our tents around so we wouldn't talk to each other" "Next day, I was training with Murata when some visitors came on a horse wagon, it was rainy the day before, so there were puddles" "I was near one when the horse ran and splashed me with mud, I was covered head to toe, so I instantly ran back to my tent" "I looked ridiculous, when Baal saw me, she just burst out laughing" "I couldn't help it, so I laughed too, even after I washed myself" "Murata and the others thought that we lost it" "We weren't mad, we learned sense" "And me and Baal's relationship grew even firmer since then" Raiden saw that Yoimiya went to sleep, so she just sat in her chair, and dozed off, having a big smile on her face.
