Yeah I'm well aware of how undignified i look right now, but can you really blame me or any otaku/gamer for wanting to meet one of their GOATs (Greatest of all times) after all she's a freaking dual wielding warrior beast lady well half but my point still stands.
"I'll be in my best behavior , Hubert remember that you owe me!!."
"I've already paid you, what do I even owe you for now?."
"Do i need to remind that you've almost had me and Doc killed."

I said to Hubert before turning to ask Tyrel
"Are you coming Dr. Tyrel?."
"No , I'm heading to the closest inn to unwind. I had too much "excitement" for my lifetime"
Hubert sticking to his word guides me through the castles hallway , as per usual the guards remain tense in my presence either from the trauma I've enduced after obliterating them or due to my racial background as a Dragonkin or perhaps both. In someways occurrences like this makes me appreciate Hubert and his sincerity.
"Everyone's so tense today, why is that?."
"It seemed that they think of you as an eyesore Zephyr not that I'd disagree."
Maybe he's too sincere for my liking , just as I planned a retort of my own I find Kayla with all her magnificence walking the same hallway.
After last night's event it seemed that she's moved here as part of her newly job as an in-house attendant a position she herself asked for. As for why she'd be around i won't know.
"A-ah Hero Zephyr, g-good morning."
"Uh... i'm here as well madam."
I'm staring with an incredibly stupified expression gawking at Kayla wearing a black uniform with a white apron i.e maid uniforms had always been my weakness all she needs a cat headband and we get ourself a kawaii(cute) maid teehee.
"S-sorry i meant a good morning to you as well Sir Hubert."
Hubert looked dejected as Kayla coldly brushed his presence off consedering the circumstances had it not been for that favor I'd take that chance to laugh at his sorry behind.
Oh well...
"Morning Kayla, how are things going for you?."
"Its been great, I'm being taught the ins and outs of the castle right now I'm incharge of showing our guests around, also you might want to wait on her highness shes having an important meeting."
She says pointing at the 2 enormous beastmen behind her both appeared to belong to a big feline race ones black dotted yellow furr resembling a cheetah or leopard, the other with black stripes on his orange fur resembling a tiger.
"Oh i forgot to introduce our guests."
"There's no need , I will introduce myself.
My name's Ruen."
The Tigre Ruen cut to the chase and told me his name. An overly serious(uptight) guy jeeze my favorite type.
"You've got to loosen up from time to time Ruen, no one likes a serious tiger."
His Leopard or perhaps Cheetah companion timely describing my gripes with that tiger.
"And you are?." I ask
"The name's Otto, the 2nd strongest warrior in the oasis city states surely you've heard. "
Out of the two one would believe Ruen to be the strongest , humble flex aside Otto and Ruen never appeared in the game.
Are they part of the expansion?.
"You're Zephyr right?." Ruen asked
"Yes I'm Zephyr."
"Mhmmm, odd I thought you were an elf."
Trust me I get that alot Otto, can't say I've swapped characters midstory as that wouldn't make sense for the inhabitants of this world.
"As you can see I'm clearly a dragonkin ahaha."
"So they let a dragonkin like you walk around this place unperturbed?."
"Otto, quit being rude, no offense to you Hero."
"There's no need Ruen. I wasn't offended"
"See , he's fine with it. "
"Well now that we've all acquainted, there's something I'd like to ask you Hero."
"be my guest Otto."
"Between you and myself, who'd ya reckon to be stronger."
"I'd say myself and I believe you'd say the same."
"Ya see where I'm going with this ."
"You want a fight?."
" we heard alot about you Hero, " Said Ruen dispassionately.
Sparks flew across the hallway as my aura crashed with his. Hubert knit his brows due to his magic sensitivites while Kayla stood watch unaware of the clash of wills transpiring before her.
"Uh, Ms. Kayla I suggest you take leave right this instant."
"Huh, w-what Hubert where are you dragging me."
"There's no stopping me Ruen."
"Like you Otto I appreciate a good fight."
All it took of Otto was an instant to procure a flail and swing a metal morningstar to my face. The blunt force of his attack sent me flying through the layers of hallway walls before my back landed in the courtyard.
"Guards!! On me!."
A squad of guards stood on edge following my assault, they surrounded Otto pointing their spears toward his head.
"Zephyr!!, are you ok!!."
"Ms.Kayla i told you to stay behind me!!."
"I'm fine Kayla don't worry about me. Listen to Hubert and take cover."
"What's with this reception , it was just a simple greeting!."
His aura produced a minature explosion blowing the guards away from his vicinity.
"Aaaaah!."
This is bad, the beastmen won't mind killing bystanders if they get in the way. I can't guarantee anyones safety, words hold no value from those they deem weaker. If we're talking base stats it looks like i'm all but maxxed out however this isn't my concern I have to beat him quick before he ends up killing half the guards.

"Reifa, showing weakness no matter what the circumstances are will be a detriment to your cause."
"Absolutely, there's no stopping the Sultan once he sets sights on greener pastures."
"What do you want me to do then?, sacrifice more of my citizens for a petty squabble."
"Listen your hearts in the right place but ..."

"What's going on?!." Princess Reifa asked
"Your Highness!!, a fight had broke out between the hero and one of our guests."
"What??!!, what's the meaning of this Madam Sara."
"That damned Otto, I'm sorry to say this Reifa and Mr.Flin we have to stop my companion before he destroys half of the castle."
"Destroy?, wait Sara."
Sara rushed through the war using her feline like speed, arriving much earlier than the Princess and her right hand man Flin.
What she saw baffled not even her but also the guards. Those two trading blows are none other than Otto and the one blocking yet also deflecting the attacks is Zephyr (had he always been a dragonkin) she wondered.
"Sara." Ruen curtly acknowledged Sara's
My lance deflected a hit of a flail the blunt force alone threatened to take off the ground, i had to dig my feet on the floor to avoid getting swept.
"Hero, why are you holding back on me!!??."
Otto animalistic instincts had completely taken over him at this point, he wasn't so different from a beast and a hungry one at that.
"I'm not holding back you battle junkie!, I'm keeping you from hurting people."
"The only thing ya should be worrying about is your life!."
There's no talking to him now, I have to end him and quick.
Easier said than done, the flail extends its chain a few inches as he sends it flying again at me its speed picking up by the minute. Clangs of steel clash as more power gets build up the courtyard quakes and cracks appear.
"Not bad hero!."
He says as he laughs maniacally, he partially transforms turning more beastly as the battle drags on.

"We have to stop him Hubert, the hero will get hurt!."
"Kayla , we can't that man Otto is a monster!."
"Listen to that man young lady, he's wise enough to know a danger in vicinity.
something's wrong madam?."
"N-no, I'm alright, its just odd to see Otto struggling."
"Your highness!!." A voice cuts their brief conversation
"Guards on me, Flin come along. We shall put this scoundrel down."
"Reifa wait!!."
Sara tried to reach out for her friend alas she was late. The Princess and an elite squad lead by Flin followed in her heel.
"Whats the matter are you tired Hero?."
"Haha, Who said I tire?."
Quit dragging that long thing around , approaching him is more difficult of a task than I had thought.
"Amusing little one are ya, I'm looking forward to see you under pressure."
"I'd like to see you try."
Otto charged his flail with magical energy and explosively moved to my direction, an unguardable skill.
I summon some energy of my own and move out the way , pebbles of sand and rocks fly off from that explosive hit leaving a gaping hole in its wake.
"You there stop right!"
"Don't you dare interfere!"
What's she doing here!
Another strike comes to the direction I was in moments ago, this attack is coming her way!!.
