Ever since that night, I've had this dream, and even now, it's like deja-vu of this moment happening over and over on loop…
In the ballroom, on a cold winter's day, stood Jerry in a one of a kind suit made by one of the best tailors in the world, and seated in front of him sat a multitude of guests.
Jake to Tom; I'll bet you 200,000 he blows it.
Tom; you're on.
Jerry; *those bastards*
…Do you Jeremiah Joske Wilson take this beautiful woman as your bride?
I do
And do you…
Yes, I do.
Very well, you may now…
confess your sin.
Jerry, confused; what?
Lisa; Jerry, did you really think I would never find out about Iris, or forget those people you killed all those years ago?
Jerry; What? No! I, mean yes, but let me explain!
Crowd; murderer, scumbag, murderer, scumbag, murderer.
Jerry; no, it's not my fault, no, no, NO!
Suddenly, everything went dark, I stood there, confused and scared, suddenly everywhere became red. No, it was more like red light from the ground began to illuminate everything around me, I then looked down and what I saw shook me to my core. It was everyone, they where dead, all dead. They where looking at me with this angry, disappointed look, like it was all my fault. Everyone who died because of me, everyone died because of me.
You caused this… why did we ever follow you… I hate you… I hate you… I hate you…
I tried to cover my ears and hide my face, but it was like I could hear them in my head. I was going insane, but then suddenly, it all stopped. I opened my eyes, and I saw him. He was looking at me, with the face he always did.
Jerry; Dad?
I ran to hug him, I thought he was my only relief from everything around me. But he pushed me aside.
Sora to Jerry; you should have died at birth.
Jerry was sitting on his bed holding a clock to check the time, it was 4 in the morning.
Jerry; Why does this keep happening?
Somewhere in London, about one year ago…
Loyalty Type_Searvant-Model_F (female); Is this OK sir?
?; Yes, just leave it right there.
Loyalty Type_Searvant-Model_F; alright then.
?; great, that's perfect now then, please help me with the chairs.
Meanwhile…
William Johnson at the alter; *I can't believe I'm getting married today! I'm so nervous*
James (William's brother); calm down brother, you look pale as a ghost, this is the most important day of your life at least look entitled.
William; sorry, I'm just getting a little worked up. Thank you for marring me and Elena.
James; of course. Now I believe its time.
And then the bride began walking down the Aisle elegantly and dressed beautifully for the occasion, while her daughter, Elise just sat there sulking as she remembered her late father.
Elise; *after all this time, daddy dies and someone just throws a bunch of money at us and thought it will all disappear, that they can just forget that my father was murdered. *
30 minutes later…
William Johnson; I'd like to thank everyone for coming out here today, it means a lot to the both of us, and a special thanks to that young man over there, Jeremiah Wilson for sponsoring this entire event, we couldn't have done it without you.
Jerry then simply waved with a smile on his face, as the crowd applauded. As Elise smeared at him from a distance.
Elise; *I'll never forget what you did you git, and no matter how much money you throw at us, I'll never forgive you, Jeremiah Joske Wilson! *
Present day, at the top floor of the Takai, Iris was standing at the front door of Jerry's room…
Jerry, who just came from behind her wearing a bath robe; Iris, mind I ask what you're doing here?
Iris; oh it's nothing, just came to see you that's all.
Iris was only a year older than Jerry and still was the one Jerry chose to bear his child to "preserve tradition". as well as to prevent the clan's politics from going out of control. Beside her, there we're a few other women Jerry was considering, one from each pillar family, but he was putting them off for the time being, after all, he was only 17 and had a woman of his own.
Jerry; this is about that thing that happened isn't it?
Iris; yes, I think we need to talk about it.
Jerry; not right now, I still have a lot to think about.
Iris; alright then.
Meanwhile, Tom was at the hospital in the estate.
Tom; it's been two weeks now. I've been thinking, did I make the right decision, or should I have stayed behind and ignored you? Well, I guess it doesn't matter now anyway does it? Right, Rose?
And there was Rose unconscious on a hospital bed, I sat by her side, every day I would come to see how she was doing, and everyday I'd leave. Each day more disappointing than the last.
Loyalty Type_Nurse-Model_F; Is something wrong sir?
Tom; oh It's nothing.
NF; It's just that I've seen you come here everyday and you look more and more depressed each time you leave.
Tom; I see.
Loyalties, androids possessing an AI which can mimic anything you so desire. To be honest at first I was hyped up about them, but now they feel like an essential part to everyday life. Since they first launched, depression has gone down significantly and productivity has gone through the roof. They're programmed to provide care and support to anyone who appears to desire it as well as assistance in whatever task they're assigned. And now it's talking to me now, do I seriously look that pitiful?
A few hours later, Tom went up to Jerry's suite.
Jerry; has she?
Tom; nothing, her body was badly wounded if fact they say she might never wake up.
Jerry; I see.
Tom; Brother, remember when we would play games back in Heiwa?
Jerry; yeah, and I'd beat you 26-4 on almost everything.
Tom; yeah, those where some good times.
Listen, I've been thinking and I've realized, we've both changed a lot haven't we?
Jerry; we have now, so tell me. What is it you want exactly?
Tom; I want to fight you.
[This question didn't move Jerry at all]
Jerry, while stretching his arms nonchalantly; you do know the implication of that right?
Tom; yeah, I do.
Jerry, still completely nonchalant; alright then, I'll have a field open for us by this evening. And remember what I told you.
Tom; I do. Hold back, and I die.
Jerry; good.
Back in Heiwa…
Zach; So, let me get this straight, in this show, they're these gigantic naked dudes who go around eating people?
Jake; yeah, that's basically it.
Zach; cool, I'm gonna watch this next.
Jake; cool, enjoy yourself.
Then Jake went upstairs to his room
Jake to Lucas; That's the 8th show already.
Lucas; Damn, how long are we gonna keep distracting him with TV shows and anime?
Jake; no idea, to be honest I don't think he's a bad guy but he's just insufferable.
Lucas; do you regret taking him in?
Jake; it was you who took him in, but after he got too much for you, you insisted we take turns with him.
Lucas; he was a poor dude with amnesia, what was I supposed to do?
Jake; I don't think that matters anymore, let's just wait till his memories come back, then we should decide what to do with him, agreed?
Lucas; agreed.
Zach, who was just outside the room listening to everything; …
Ga-den estate at 19:00 a crowd had gathered surrounding a large field, they were here to witness a fight between two brothers and they watched closely as the two men walked into the field.
Tom; *If I know anything about my brother, it's that the thing he takes more seriously than anything is a fight, however, when that fight has been proposed by someone else, he doesn't hold back. That is, he will fight to kill, and expects his opponent to do the same. It was the reason why I never asked him until now, however, after everything that's happened, I need to gauge my strength against his, and in what better way than fighting for my life? Or at the very least, to take my mind off things *
Then they were both in the middle of the field and the looked at each other, face to face.
Jerry; Don't hold back. And don't worry, I'll heal you when this is all over.
Tom; Hopefully you wont need to.
Then Tom unsheathed his sword. And a single word signaled the beginning.
Fight!
EOC
Jerry; Also, where did you get this idea?
Tom; oh, I got it from Deadpool.
Jerry; wait, are you serious right now? Deadpool?
Tom; yeah, I spoke with him yesterday.
Jerry; alright, what did he say?
Tom; he said that the series was becoming a little dull so he suggested we start the second volume with a bang.
Jerry; nice, wait, Deadpool reads our series!?
Tom; yeah, apparently, I was just as shocked as you.
Jerry; nah, that's crazy.
Tom; I know right?
Jerry; well, if the series has gotten dull, I think we should liven it up a bit shouldn't we?
Tom; agreed brother.
