Chapter 17 - Chapter 17

Yayi led me to a heavily guarded area of the royal palace. She concealed herself in the shadows, enchanting with incantations, invoking the "Dark Hypnosis," catching the demonic soldiers off guard, causing them to fall into an unforeseen slumber.

Yayi triumphantly smiled at me, swiftly pulling me into a warehouse. On the barren warehouse floor lay an intricately carved stone slab. Yayi approached the slab, placing her jade-like hand upon it, intoning, "By the name of Yayi Xia Lucifer, the princess of the demonic realm, I command thee, seal and withdraw."

The stone slab emitted a low, resonant vibration, then gradually shifted aside, revealing a profound, dark abyss. Yayi glanced back at me, smiling, "Master, kindly employ the magic of the Holy Light to conjure an illuminating orb. We have quite a journey ahead."

Her demeanor at this moment was truly exquisite, enchanting, and alluring. Unable to resist, I lightly pinched her delicate nose. With a mere thought, a brilliant orb appeared, suspended in the air.

Yayi, with a bewitching smile, gracefully leaped into the dark abyss. I followed suit.

As Yayi mentioned, it was an exceedingly long corridor. She effortlessly dispelled over a dozen formidable seals along the way, seals only Lucifer or his descendants could unravel. If it were not for her, I would have had to force my way through with raw magical power.

After traversing a considerable distance, a colossal iron gate, over ten meters in height, appeared before us. Yayi stepped forward, releasing the seal, and exerted force to open the gate.

In the illumination of the orb, the interior revealed a cavernous chamber, comparable in size to a football field. It was filled with an array of exotic treasures. Even though my knowledge about these items was limited, I could discern their inestimable value. However, they held no significance for me, and I merely glanced at them.

Observing my indifference towards the treasures, Yayi's heart was suddenly filled with joy. She pulled me towards the innermost part of the chamber, where a large stone chest stood. Slowly, she opened it.

Inside the chest were several uniquely designed suits of armor in various styles and colors. Yayi, smiling, said, "Here lies the ultimate armor collected by my father over tens of thousands of years. Each piece is a masterpiece. Please, choose one."

My gaze swept over each suit of armor, utterly clueless about how to make a selection. Armor, in general, was a domain in which I had no expertise.

At that moment, a peculiar necklace and a black ring captured my attention.

I wondered why there were accessories inside an armor chest. Curious, I reached out and took the necklace and ring.

Yayi's eyes sparkled with surprise. "Master, your taste is truly exceptional. You've immediately chosen the 'Armor of the Heart' and the 'Eclipse Ring.' These are my father's most treasured possessions. Taking them will undoubtedly cause my father considerable distress."

Glancing at the seemingly inconspicuous necklace and ring in my hands, I inquired, "What makes them so extraordinary?"

Pointing at the necklace, Yayi explained, "This is the 'Armor of the Heart,' capable of absorbing the wearer's spiritual power and transforming into the most suitable armor. As for the 'Eclipse Ring,' it is even more formidable, capable of absorbing all energy from Holy Light magic. Unfortunately, it has been unusable since my father defeated the 'Morning Light Angel' Yu Yi, one of the five Archangels, last time. Even my father couldn't determine the reason."

Joyfully, I placed the necklace around my neck and, with a contemplative look, eventually slid the now defunct "Eclipse Ring" onto my finger.

Following Yayi's instructions, I infused all my spiritual power into the necklace. In an instant, the necklace radiated a brilliant light, transforming into a jet-black armor that appeared on me. It differed from the extensive defense of a knight, as well as the styles of swordsmen and mages. The patterns on the armor were simple and plain, tailored perfectly to the characteristics of every muscle on my body. Wearing it was not only incredibly comfortable but also as light as a feather.

I had truly stumbled upon a treasure.

Seeing me clad in the formidable armor, Yayi, with eyes full of intoxication, couldn't resist a tender moan before throwing herself into my arms. Tilting her pink face upwards, she said, "Master, kiss me. Little Night is eagerly awaiting your affection."

Feeling her deep affection, I gently embraced her delicate figure, lowering my head to kiss her rosy lips. With a soft whimper, Yayi entwined herself around me. The proud princess had transformed into a passionate flame.

Suddenly, the chamber plunged into darkness. It turned out that the light orb I created had exhausted its energy and extinguished.

While still deeply engrossed in kissing the entranced Yayi, I raised my left hand, gathering the energy of light to create another illuminating orb.

An anomaly occurred. Just as a glimmer emerged at my fingertips, the magical power within me was abruptly drawn into the "Eclipse Ring" on my index finger like a tidal wave. Despite my attempts to free myself from Yayi's embrace and remove the ring with my right hand, the ring clung tightly to the index finger of my left hand. No matter what I did, I couldn't take it off, allowing the magical power to be continuously absorbed.

Yayi, awakening abruptly from passion, exclaimed, "Master, what's happening to you? You..."

She hurriedly approached, attempting to support me. Fearing that this anomaly might affect her, I pushed her away, cautioning, "Little Night, don't come any closer. It's dangerous."

Although I possessed boundless magical power, the rate at which the "Eclipse Ring" absorbed it was exceptionally rapid. I felt a moment of dizziness and nearly collapsed. Just as Yayi was about to rush over again, the "Eclipse Ring" suddenly emitted a dazzling white light, pure and crystalline, exuding an aura of sanctity.

A surprising scene unfolded: a pure light sphere emerged from the "Eclipse Ring," gradually transforming into a human form. Eventually, it turned into an incomparably beautiful, entirely naked woman. Behind her, three pairs of six pristine wings gracefully extended. Despite her lack of clothing, she exuded a sacred beauty.

Yayi exclaimed, "You... Are you an 'Archangel'? How is this possible? Why would an angel appear here?"

The alluring figure of the six-winged angel hovered in the air. Her immaculate wings fluttered gracefully, and the radiant beauty of her flawless body emitted a crystalline glow, captivating to the eyes.

The angel, with eyes as vast and blue as the sea, fixed a penetrating gaze upon me. In a voice that was crisp, melodious, and utterly delightful, she spoke, "I am Yu Yi, the 'Morning Light Angel,' one of the five Archangels in the heavenly realm. I was dispatched by the king of the gods to subdue the 'Fallen Angel' Lucifer. However, I was defeated, my corporeal form destroyed. My essence took refuge within this 'Eclipse Ring,' and it has been tens of thousands of years since that time."
