Chapter 230 - Marvel 3

While the mutant group under Xavier was busy doing their training montage, I was busy putting the first bun into my wife's oven until we got an uninvited but expected guest.

It was already dark outside and I was about to close the restaurant when a baldy in strange robes entered.

"Hello, I hope I'm not disturbing?" the (not so) Ancient One asked

"Haa" I sighed "No, come in"

Everyone left the restaurant a while ago, making the member of the Powerful Bald Club the only person sitting here.

"What can I get you?"

"Just some apple cake and tea, please. And I would like to talk to you and your wife as well."

Honestly, I was very interested in why she was here. We didn't hide our presence in the time stream but we also didn't reveal who we were.

We didn't use our powers to run the restaurant but that didn't stop us from serving her the best cake and tea in the universe, if I had the ingredients I could have made it the multiverse.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked as I sat at the table with my wife who was for some reason just staring holes in the air like some mental patient, luckily I had long gotten used to her changing personalities.

"First off, this is the best cake and tea I have ever had and I have had many. Second off, I want to know who you are and what your intentions are" she said while savoring her order.

"Well, a bit rude to ask us for our name without introducing yourself but I am Zerr'on and this gorgeous creature is my wife Laura. As for our intentions, none really. I just like to mess with people while my wife is busy thinking of good baby names"

"I didn't introduce myself since I heard that your kind is already very familiar with the most important people on earth. When I found you, I was expecting you to come to Kama Taj to learn magic but after watching you, there was nothing there that you didn't already have"

My kind? She isn't insinuating what I think she is, right? Because this would be beyond hilarious.

"My Kind? Maybe you should elaborate on that. I have no idea what you're talking about" I said with undisguised amusement that didn't escape the Sorcerer's detection

"You know exactly what I mean. Reincarnator, Transmigrator, Traveler, or whatever you people from beyond are called. I don't know which of them you are but I heard that they are quite common in our reality"

She was, she was seriously saying what I thought she was. This is fucking hilarious.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAH" I spent the next few minutes just laughing while the Ancient One was patiently waiting for me to finish.

"HA, I can assure you, neither I nor my wife are what you think we are. We never intruded on this reality, I was here before it even formed and she has always been here." I gave cryptic hints to our true nature but she didn't seem to believe them.

"Then explain to me why your mischief from the last few days has caused such a catastrophic ripple in the future?" she asked a bit annoyed

"I honestly have no clue what you're talking about and I don't want to know. Unlike you, we enjoy not knowing the future and like to keep things uncertain. Whatever it is, it can't be from giving Magneto's helm bunny ears and fixing Darwin's idiotic fate"

She was silent for a moment before replying.

"That might be true, I also never understood why he ended up like this. I will be keeping an eye on you two." She said as she put some money on the table

"This was the best tea I ever had, so you can expect to see me here more often" She left her last words before she disappeared into the Mirror Dimension.

"BYEE" an energetic shout echoed in the now empty room.

I looked at my wife whose mind just returned to the land of the living and took on the personality of an overcaffeinated chipmunk.

"That was so, like, interesting. Should we do it more often? You're right, we should. Who should we invite next? I vote for Abraham Lincon and James Howlett. I will go write the invitations." And with that, she rushed out of the room to write invitations to a dead president and a grumpy alcoholic.

I just chuckled at my wife's antics and looked at Cuba. The two fleets were already waiting near the embargo line, waiting just a few km before the third WW. I was really tempted to take over a captain and drive over the line and start WW3 but I held back.

Laura would never forgive me if she had to give birth and raise a child during a world war caused by me. Understandable, I didn't want to deal with that either.
