Next up was an idea I had a while ago but never tried to implement: fusing the consciousness and subconsciousness together.
For most beings simply being aware of the task of the subconsciousness can be annoying and switching the conscious and subconscious mind is one of the greatest tortures to exist.
Imagine consciously breathing, beating your heart, or moving your bowel in a certain rhythm. Luckily I don't need to do any of that, so my subconscious mind is basically retired. Also, have fun breathing manually for the next minute, MUAHAHAHA, I'm so evil.
The only thing my subconscious was doing was filtering all information from my senses and occasionally doing tasks for me that I didn't want to do on my own. It was basically just an autopilot, useful for doing pushups.
The Spiritual Sea practically gave me a free pass to play with my own mind as I pleased. It took me a while to find that slimy bastard, it was really good at hiding from the main mind, and a bit longer to fuse them together.
This new sensation was super weird. The feeling of thinking with what would have been my subconscious was crazy. Luckily I had all my senses cut off when I entered meditation or I would now have a stream of information from my many senses which brought me to my next project.
I wouldn't say I had every possible sense but I definitely had more than any singular being out there, I literally had a sense to hear tantric energy, telling me how horny someone was. The only reason I was able to deal with so many senses was because my mind had infinite processing power but it didn't change the fact that it was inconvenient.
I wanted to reduce the number of senses by integrating them into my Divine Sense. The Divine Sense was already very useful and versatile alone and would continue to grow as my cultivation progressed which made me wonder what would happen if I advanced a Divine Sense that had millions of other senses in it.
The integration took a long, long time, I could feel my Spiritual Sea change slightly with every sense I integrated into it but I had yet to experience their effect as I was still meditating. Also, just because I integrated all my senses into one, it didn't mean that I lost them, I still had their original version, they just turned dormant.
At this point, I was completely blind but all I would have to do to see was to open my eyes again.
After integrating all my senses, the Spiritual Sea has changed from a dark purple to a calm mirror-like sea. It was absolutely impossible to determine its original color as it just mirrored the light blue sky and everything else above it. It also hid just how deep my Spiritual Sea was.
This was already looking very decent. I was finally done with the Spiritual Sea realm and ready to enter the create the Purple Palace. I had a feeling my Palace would be completely different from others but I wouldn't find it out now, I had already been a shut-in for long enough, it was time to go out a bit before building my Purple Palace.
I needed to do a few missions and update my disciple status unless I wanted to be thrown out. The number of missions I had done in the sect could be counted on two hands yet I was still receiving resources.
Waking up was weird, I was not only blind and deaf, I was also completely disoriented by my Divine Sense and structure of my mind. It took a while to get used to it, time I used to scout out the entire sect and its surroundings to find something interesting I could use to keep me occupied for a while.
There were some nice secrets under the sect that even the sect master didn't seem to know about but I was more interested in the nearing Beast Tide and the hiding members of at least four demonic sects. They wouldn't have some great opportunities but I was in the mood for blood and they were volunteering.
I wonder how many years' worth of missions I would get for destroying a demonic sect, that would be two- no, three flies with one stone, I couldn't forget about all the resources a single sect had, they might even have a child of destiny and some opportunities for him or her.
