Chapter 190 - Percy Jackson 2

Playing with demigods was a lot of fun, I understand why gods liked to toy with them. They were essentially weak humans but something from their godly parentage drives them to never give up and continue fighting.

This time it wasn't just a Minotaur that was chasing them but a whole bunch of other monsters, some new creations of mine, some just random monsters that decided to join the chase after the delicious-smelling demigod.

I had adjusted my identity in this world to the god of evil, monsters, lies, and broken oaths. MY ability to create new monsters was so impressive that even Zeus ordered me to create some monsters to find his Master Bolt.

While I was having fun, trying to break Percy's mind by having one of the hentai monsters I created violate his mother in front of him before Hades saved her by abducting her, Nidhogg was playing in the Sea of Monsters, also known as the Bermuda Triangle. Seeing her play with Charybdis and Scylla made me consider if I should turn this universe into a crossover by fusing it with the Monsterverse.

Seeing everyone react to the sudden appearance of Titans would be hilarious but it would also bring up some confusion since then there would be two races of Titans. I will need some time to consider if this is really worth the trouble of fusing two universes.

Since Percy had safely arrived at the camp and there was nothing I could think of to mess with him further, I diverted my attention to the Underworld and Tartarus. While I just wanted to compare the Underworld with Leo's and maybe chat a bit with Hades, I was rather interested in Tartarus, the birthplace of monsters and the prison of gods and titans.

Although Hades and his wife were the kindest gods of Olympus, they were also known for not liking visitors. Might as well take the normal route downstairs.

After paying a considerable amount to the greedy Ferryman, I was taken over the river Styx. I might have disguised myself as human but playing the dead part was significantly harder and Charon exploited the fact that someone living wanted to enter the Underworld. At least I got my revenge when I pushed him overboard when we were halfway across as revenge.

Sure it was petty of me to do this over something I even cared about but who cares?

Once I crossed the river, I was rather disappointed. The environment was like the overworld, no poisonous air, no acid rain, no sharp stones piercing through your feet, and even the temperature was normal, if this was Leo's underworld you would already have third-degree burns, bleeding from all openings and feet, and wish that this suffering would end.

It's no wonder that living mortals keep coming and going, this is basically just a gloomy but god-free vacation place. At least this Underworld had a few unique specialties like the water of the river Styx that could turn anyone who bathed in it invulnerable to even the divines, at least the ones from this weak reality.

While it wasn't much, it might be a nice present for my grandkid when it finally gets born.

The next problem presented itself in the form of an endlessly long line of dead souls waiting for their judgment. There was no way in whatever was below Tartarus that I was going to stand in line, luckily there was a solution in the form of an oversized three-headed puppy.

A few bones and treats later, Cerberus was running after a ball, overrunning all souls in his way and clearing the way for me. Truly a good boy.

Naturally, the commotion didn't go unnoticed and I was soon stopped by the three Furies, not to be mistaken with furries. They naturally weren't pleased with seeing another mortal intrude on their home, especially when he caused as much chaos as me.

They didn't immediately try to kill me and instead wanted to bring me to their boss, I knew Hades would still kill me but he was polite enough to at least hear his intruder out first. Since my goal was to look around the Underworld and meet the big guy anyway, I didn't resist and just let myself be taken away to the core of the Underworld.

The closer I got to the dark palace in the distance, the more plant life I got to see. There was only one person who could grow flowers in this place and I would have loved to look at these strange bone flowers and soul grass in Persephone's garden but like I said, I was currently being escorted to the king of the underworld and I could always make a bad impression later, didn't have to do it before our talk and first official meeting.
