Chapter 175 - DC 14

I don't know what Dr Manhattan was hoping to accomplish but going by his surprise, a universal-sized being with enough power to destroy his entire multiverse to appear was not it.

I was beyond pissed and instantly skipped all my boss stages and entered my final form. My true form, donned with my full armor and a weapon in each of my four hands was a scary sight that would make even the most powerful beings conscious but not this blue berry in front of me.

For all his power he also had to pay a price, his emotions were as good as gone and he had no sense of danger whatsoever, instead, he just started talking nonsense like interesting, unexpected, or being happy.

My choice of weaponry was an axe, a sword, a spear, and a chain, all being empowered by countless powers that were enough to blow this exhibitionist to pieces but with no intent to kill. This guy did not feel pain under normal circumstances, so I added the very concept of pain to them, just to hear him scream.

What he did to my pet was simply unacceptable, imagine having each molecule of your body separated from each other, not do that with your mind, soul, and very existence. The first three things were no big problem but since Nidhogg's existence was bound to my tower and protected from annihilation, my tower had to work at full power to gather all the fragments of her existence and reassemble them in the right order. That was not only very hard work but probably one of the worst tortures to exist, feeling your existence shattered was one thing but feeling it from each and every one of these fragments would undoubtedly leave her traumatized for a while.

Ignoring his speech with himself, I appeared before him and straight up cut him into hundreds of pieces with my sword. The blank expression quickly disappeared as he felt the worst pain he had ever felt since the beginning of his existence.

He quickly teleported away and reappeared in the distance, fully intact again, but before he could do anything, I was on to him again. This time I caught him in my chain, preventing him from escaping, and started throwing him from universe to universe while making sure to avoid the one my family was at.

After only a short while of torturing and ripping him to shreds, I was attacked by a barrage of arrows that could easily destroy a planet. It appears my rampage had left a trail of destruction that could no longer be ignored and other powerful beings decided to intervene.

Unlike this lethargic asshole I have been torturing for a while now, they had actual experience with their power and didn't just rely on absolute power. The owners of the arrows that just bounced off me, Apollo and Artemis, had fought in wars and lived to hunt so even if they were weaker than Manhattan, they still proved to be harder to deal with than him.

Even if they were annoying, my goal was to make him regret hurting my pet so I just ignored their attacks and continued brutally beating the shit out of him. I vaguely noticed more and more people joining forces to attack me but I was too busy right now.

I only stopped beating the shit out of Jon Osterman when I was hit by an attack that actually managed to cause me slight discomfort. With the battered but still regenerating form of Osterman in my hand I turned around and was greeted but a punch to the face.

It was a bit strange to see most Pantheons and comic entities of DC gathered in one place, working together to achieve one goal no less. I could spot Zeus and his Pantheon, Odin, Ra, and the owners of the two attacks that caught my attention, the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor.

It made sense for the Monitor to be here since I destroyed at least a few hundred universes while bashing Manhattan's blue skull in but why was the Anti-Monitor here? He probably discovered that I was a force from outside this reality, making me part of his responsibility to deal with, even if I had already entered without him noticing.

There were still a few big figures missing, like Lucifer or many Endless, but there were enough powerhouses here to say I was now fighting against the entire DC universe. This should be fun.

I had gotten a bit bored beating Dr Manhattan since he stopped showing reactions after I did the impossible and made him shed a tear but now there was a new group of punching bags volunteering to make me take my anger out on.

It was time I finally put the prison in my tower to good use, so I tied up Manhattan, sealed most all his powers that might allow him to escape, and threw him in there. Once Niddy recovered, she could use him as a chew toy. Hopefully, that would help her feel less traumatized.

Now it was time to deal with the entirety of the DC reality, I never liked it to begin with so I had no complaints as to how this was turning out. Unlike Manhattan who only relied on absolute power and his ability to reassemble himself when he did get hurt, these people actually had some skill, this was not going to be easy but it's been too long since I had a real challenge.
