Chapter 156 - ROB 1

A couple of decades had passed since I caught my cosmic ant colony but not much has happened.

I used this time to prepare for my upcoming job as a ROB and things have been going great. My family has been using the time to do their own things like sleeping, adventuring, or, in Leo's case, getting married.

The fact that they often brought back souvenirs from their travels brought me many inspirations on items that I was sure other ROBs did not have on their list.

I wasn't going to make it easy for my customers so they had two things to choose from. Either very limited three wishes that would be taken for the word, meaning a system with world travel function are considered two wishes, the wishes can not be too powerful or have too high potential, and no extra service will be given, so if they go to Marvel, good luck with the TVA and other Cosmic Beings.

The second way was three spins of the Wheel of Fate. The wheel had rewards ranging from wigs and anal plugs to overpowered systems and powerful bloodlines like Celestialsapiens with no additional minds and Saiyans with near-unlimited potential. It was worth mentioning that my wheel was unaffected by luck, destiny, and fate and everything was equally likely to be drawn.

So, either they choose a stable start and have to grow on their own or they gamble and will either reach the peak immediately or fall to the abyss of despair. Regardless of their choice, I'm sure it will be very entertaining.

The place where they got to make their afterlife-altering decision was just a random white cube I created in the Outerverse, I didn't make any kind of effort to make it, instead, I gave my all to create something else that was both feared and worshipped. Truck-kun.

Since just taking randomly deceased people was boring, I decided to create a near-omniscient being who could feel the presence of beings with talent or just the potential of being entertaining. Truck-kun didn't have a corporeal body and possessed the nearest truck to his customer, giving the vehicle many special powers upon possession, like teleportation, flight, super speed, and many more.

I was very proud of its creation and it was finally time to test it.

Somewhere in the Omniverse, a teen was happily walking home with a light jump in his steps.

This was Shino, an average high school student who until recently had wished nothing more than to die and reincarnate in a world of sword and magic with some cheats, however, that all changed one day when he saved a girl from a molester.

It turned out that this girl was actually the beauty of his class.

She was very grateful for his help and even made advances on him, most importantly, he noticed. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Shino was not like the average protagonist and actually took note of her advances and did not shy away either, that's how he officially got his first girlfriend just a few hours before.

Little did he know that it was especially because he wasn't like the other protagonists, that his life was going to end in just a few minutes.

It was already dark but the eerie silence, the lack of people, and the fact that not even traffic lights gave of light made him slow down and subconsciously prepare to run.

Just as he was crossing the street, the sound of an engine starting made him turn his head. In the middle of the other side of the street, a truck stood as if he was waiting for him. Thanks to the fact that the truck was the only source of light, he was able to see that there was no one behind the wheel.

"Truck-Kun?" he asked in a meek voice while feeling stupid for even asking but to his shock the truck revved its engine as if to confirm his answer.

"No, please, I just got a girlfriend!"

Truck-Kun ignored his pleas and started to slowly roll towards him.

Seeing no way out of this, Shino threw his bad away and started running in the opposite direction.

Seeing this, Truck-Kun began to accelerate too, rapidly closing the distance between the two.

Hearing the engine coming closer, he started running like never before in his life.

"Please, oh mighty Truck-Kun, spare me. Why now? Couldn't you have picked me up a few days ago?"

Truck-Kun honked as if to answer but the desperate teenager didn't speak car, not that it mattered, Truck-Kun had been given a quote by his boss and he wasn't going to let his first customer get away.

Shino tried dodging to the side but space seemed to bend in ways that no matter where he ran, Truck-Kun was always right behind him.

*SPLASH*

The first order of the day had been delivered.
