Hannah left almost immediately, and June sat down, covering her face. "Are you alright?"
She looked up to see Liam standing in front of her. "Yes," she responded.
He looks at the door and asks, "So what was that all about?" he asked her.
"Hannah is part of a rebel group, fighting for the freedom of the remaining people in the world," June explained. "She joined a week after the Shadow Nexus took over the world and wanted me to join her... I refused as I couldn't abandon my duty of caring for you and Null," she said.
"She always comes whenever she's injured and in need of medical assistance, and the visit always ends up the same, her trying to convince me to join the rebels."
"It sounds like she's aware of the consequences of what would happen to Null if you joined her," Liam said, frowning, his fists clenching up.
