Returning to her team wasn't easy, mostly because Layla was on her back, which slowed her down significantly because she didn't want the old woman to get too uncomfortable, but June managed to get to her teammates before the break of dawn.
"Who's this?" one of her teammates asked her.
"A necessity," June replied, gently dropping her. "We should try getting out of here before they send soldiers to retrieve her," she said.
"Isn't this going to put our lives at risk?"
"Our lives were already at risk the day we became soldiers," June replied blankly. "Plus we are teleporting out of here, aren't we?" she said. "Or is something wrong with Oswald," she said.
"No, not at all," the person that was talking, Brice, said.
"Then get him, so we can get out of here before the real danger arrives," June said. "Or is there a problem with that too," she said.
"Not at all."
"Then let's not waste any time and go," she said.
