2 days had passed, and tension within the class was only increasing more and more. The students didn't act like students; they never laughed, they never played, they just sat quietly throughout the day and only talked to each other when they weren't in the classroom. Konin lived freely, without a care in the world, the other students noticed it, and they hated it. Some students tried to rely on Kanazawa sensei for help, but he did nothing; his silver eyes would always shimmer under the light, but all the students knew those bright eyes of his showed no emotion.
"There will be a new student joining us today." Kanazawa announced to the class. The students didn't seem to care that much. "Come in."
A light-brown skinned boy dressed in a casual black shirt and brown shorts walked enthusiastically into the class.
He wore white branded long socks and shoes. His brown hair was puffy and spiky, but his eyes were a plane white.
He had a bright smile that easily lit up the room. "Okay. Introduce yourself." Kanazawa said.
"Mhm!" The boy gave a heartwarming smile to Kanazawa before turning to the rest of the class. Taking a deep breath: "GOOD MORNINGGG!!!"
He took the whole class by surprise. He screamed so loud that basically everyone in the class got a sudden shiver sent through their body. They all looked at him weirdly. Even Konin glanced at him.
He kept his bright smile. "My name is Kenya Morimichi! It's nice to meet you all!"
Everything about him from his voice to his expression was funny and heartwarming. The students enjoyed listening to him, some laughing and giggling during the rest of his introduction. It was the first time anyone had laughed in that class for what seemed like the longest of times.
No one could tell whether it was because of his smile or his overall personality that they were drawn to him but there was this childlike innocence about him that could easily bring a smile to anyone's face and that was exactly what the class needed right now.
"That's enough Kenya, go take a seat," Kanazawa said, cutting off his long introduction. "Ah." Kenya said, scratching his hair embarrassingly before nodding, then walked off to his seat.
