With this card, it will allow him to enter and leave the city without any problem under the guild authority, it could also be used at another guild's branch within the country.
In this world, an adventurer's guild is also a pillar of a country. It played a significant role in networking, commercialization, militarization and connection in each country. The guild can only be established and work tightly under the regulation and the authority that have been approved and given by the government and the royal itself. The guild tended to observe and try to find a highly potential adventurer that proved to be powerful and capable in many skills, so they could ask them to carry on a job that was more dangerous that a normal adventurer could not achieve. At the back of the card, it appeared to be empty. Thap was confused and asked Via about it. She then told him to drop a single blood onto it. To his surprise, the drop of that blood began to spread and letters appeared out of nowhere that showed the information about the owner's stats, it appeared to be an average stats as he didn't have a Class to begin with. Thap was pretty much a normal human in this world.
Then he got some more explanation on how adventurers work in here. To begin with, the adventurer's guild established their own unique ranking system where they were ranking each adventurer accordinging to their achievement. There were 6 ranks, ranging from F, D, C, B, A, S in an ascending order.
The adventurer was recommended to work and choose on the task or quest according to their rank which was verified by the guild itself, for instance as a newbie adventurer (F-rank) they were advised to work only on F rank quests until they were confident on working on other rank quests..
In order to move up or rank up, a certain requirement must be fulfilled according to the guild demand. The adventurer must inform the guild when they want to rank up, so the guild could have time to arrange them by evaluated them with a test or asked them to work on a certain tasks.
Adventurers must not fight with another adventurer without any reason, if they wanted to have a duel with one another they must inform the guild. Moreover, adventurers can also form a party but it has to be registered under the guild's regulation and rules.
To simplify it, all they have to do as an adventurer is to choose a quest, complete that quest and receive a reward after verifying it with the guild. The guild also buys valuable materials and resources from the adventurer who wanted to sell their goods.
Thap was a bit overwhelmed after listening to all of that, it was something new to him that he had never learn before. Becoming an adventurer in a strange world and without a class.
"Are you ready for your first quest?"
Via asked him with a smile.
"..Hmm yes please !"
He was a bit hesitant with his answer.
"I guessed you should recommend him some easy quest as a newbie, I'm pretty sure he can handle it. Right!"
Bart spoke out while giving him a thumbs up with a huge smile.
"Yes, I was about to do that, I was thinking of giving the herbs quest."
Via replied to Bart while browsing through the quest's list from the record.
"How about picking "Phroy" ?"
Via gave him a quest that was asked to gather a herb that was called "Phroy" as his first assignment.
Thap had no choice but to accept it with a fake smile but inside his head he screamed out "WHAT THE HELL IS PHROY ???".
"... Um Thanks Ms. Via for the quest !
He replied to Via while receiving the quest like a professional.
