Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 - Black Out

Leo was floating in the space, staring at the huge battleship. He was both mesmerized and shocked because of the events happening around him lately.

Surviving a near death transformation?

System's Changes that he had not discovered yet.

His parents' condition?

Almost getting killed by a man from unknown origin whom he didn't even know, yet he had the urge to rip him apart.

And floating in the space where a huge battleship laid afloat in front of him.

Also, the huge leap he took from the ground when trying to come out of the hole.

When did he become that strong?!

Was something wrong with him?

What was it?

Was he ready for these events unfolding with huge booms and bangs around him?

Leo was already shocked to be in the open space. He had stopped breathing, and his mouth was now resembling his cheeks filled with air.

Looking at this foolish act, one of the empresses spoke to him sweetly, "Oh, you don't need to do that. Just breathe normally." She stopped with a small giggle.

Without thinking twice, Leo released the trapped air in his mouth and began breathing steadily. To his surprise, he could breathe easily and wondered that how was he able to breathe even though there was no source of air in such a place.

Leo started floating forward towards the battleship, which stopped his inner thoughts. The empresses led him towards the huge battleship and by surprise, an old man exuding a terrifying aura far stronger than the dead robed man came to them, welcoming them for a tea.

Was he not afraid of the empresses?

Yes, he was. To the point that he could not do anything and only thought of saving his skin from them.

They entered the battleship and found themselves in a grand corridor. Only Leo was struck by the grandiosity of the unique decorations, as the empresses didn't bat an eye to the so-called grand corridor.

BOOM x 10

The empresses released a bit of their aura, scaring the old man wearing the same golden robe with more designs. The old man coughed up everything he knew.

"W-We came here to find a celestial phenomenon holder and …k-kill him. We were only ordered to do so by the young mast-" The old man stopped abruptly and started coughing mouthfuls of blood. His eyes started bleeding, along with his ears. He fell on the ground lifeless after a few minutes.

The empress of hell raised her hand and a flaming light came floating towards her from the old man's lifeless body. She glanced at the soul flame for a moment before destroying it. A warm smile was on her face and she looked at Leo.

"We can finally meet our in-laws. Ain't you excited Son-in-law?" She spoke with a carefree manner.

"Oh my! Looks like we will need to prepare some gifts."

"Hm. We shouldn't arrive empty-handed."

The other empresses soon began talking with their usual carefree tone.

Before anything, they were already out of the battleship. In a single gesture of forming a fist, the dragon empress destroyed the battleship without any efforts.

They might have barely been there for a minute or two.

Leo could not focus on the destruction of the battleship as the system notifications kept on hovering in his eyesight.

He was floating in the space again, but his wives had been brought by from the world they stood on. The empresses brought them because they could easily see the energy fluctuations inside their daughters, and told Leo that they would be waking up any moment.

They were all now travelling in the space with a speed that was barely comprehensible by Leo. He stopped thinking too much and started looking at the system notifications in his mind.

The empresses were quite shocked to see that Leo was able to enter the meditation state while travelling in the space, let alone the fact that it was his first time.

They glanced at him from time to time and finally stopped looking at him, thinking about what kind of talented person their daughters had found.

They were wrong.

Leo did enter his mind to speak with the system, but there was only darkness that he could see. There were no traces of the system's semi transparent white panel or the lotus shaped soul.

He tried every method to wake up, but to his surprise, he couldn't.
