Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Walls of Solitude

Solitude became Amelia's only solace, a fortress shielding her from the judgmental eyes that haunted her every step outside her door. Every day, she descended further into the depths of her self-imposed prison, each brick representing a missed opportunity, a tally of the experiences she failed to seize. The outside world became a mere memory, fading like distant echoes in her ears.

Within the confines of her house, Amelia's surroundings mirrored her inner turmoil. Dust covered once cherished possessions, capturing the time she spent fixated on her insecurities. The once lively and vibrant walls now mirrored her own morose reflection, painting the environment with her sorrow.

Her days blended into one another, laced with bleakness. The sunlight, once a beacon of hope, no longer penetrated the shadows that cocooned her soul. Friends and family grew concerned, longing to breach her fortress and bring her back into the warmth of their love. Yet, Amelia's fears and self-doubt kept her locked away from their ever-welcoming arms. She firmly believed that all those love and care were all fake and to tell you what i believed they were fake. Amelia looked at her room in a daze and her a eyes caught a piece of red material that was cut into pieces and all does dried tears became wet again, She remembered how she bought a couple of materials and gave them to a fashion designer who could at least be called a family friend, the materials were given to the designer to make a couple of blouses and gowns but as time went by Amelia realized that her clothes has spent two months with the designer and she hasn't gotten respones of her clothes done, so she decided to pay her a visit getting to her house she could hear two peop having a conversation and laughing and it was between the designer and her sister-inlaw saying [ that fat fool had the guts to bring her clothes for me to sew and she thought I'll waste my time sewing a fatty's clothes never will i do that]

Her sister inlwas laughed and guessed what this lady is a friend of Amelia and she's also fat tho she took some drugs to lose some pounds doesn't mean she has right to say trash about me at my back amd smile in my and presence, she really felt lonely this time.

Amelia stared at the closed door, the laughter echoing in her ears like a cruel symphony. Her heart sank as she realized the true nature of her so-called friend and the deep-seated hatred that existed around her. The realization hit her like a tidal wave, flooding her already fragile state of mind with a mix of anger and sorrow.

Tears streamed down Amelia's face as she stumbled away from the doorstep, her heart heavy with the weight of betrayal. Every taunt, every insult, every cruel remark now echoed louder than ever, reinforcing the notion that she was unworthy of love and acceptance. She couldn't bear to exist in a world that seemed hell-bent on tearing her apart piece by piece. As Amelia retreated back into the solace of her fortress, she found solace in the embrace of her own thoughts. It was in the depths of her solitude that a spark of defiance flickered within her soul. She refused to let the voices of hatred and judgment define her worth. She knew that she deserved better, even if it meant fighting against her own demons. But could she find the strength she wanted?. Well no. ; Amelia thought of having a conversation with her mum but she decided not to because she remember how her mom always say stuffs like won't you lose weight, is that hard to lose weight or maybe you should stop eating, she could still remember their last fight after her outburst when she Languidly said your àre my mother, if others are doing it doesn't mean you should, it hurts you know, it breaks me mentally and physically: she could still remember the shock on her mum's face! Because that was the first time her daughter her showed her feelings and the first she saw her cry so sadly and talk calmly at the same time, she knew she was wrong and that moment and hurriedly told her that" Lia am so sorry if i hurt you i don't hate you or your body, i just don't want you to go through when i went through at my time and it was already late for me to consider losing weight then, I want you to be very pretty and yes you are beautiful but""" Something interrupted Amelia's thought it was the sound of her phone message and its from a guy that she has been texting recently, he claims to love her and want to date her but Amelia doesn't believe cause it isn't worth trying.
