Karu arrived at the mages tower after fainting for 2 days. 'It was much longer than I thought, I always exhausted my magic, but I never fainted, gause I exhausted my body too much too.'.
After arriving, Karu had to take a magic test once again. For unknown reasons Karu was able to get a green tier assessment. But either way it didn't matter. Karu was able to get inside the library, but sadly he was only able to get into the first floor.
The mages tower had a huge library, much larger than anything he has seen before. "I haven't seen any other libraries. This place is so huge!"
The library had 6 floors. Despite the logical arrangement being for the tiers of magic, it was 1 level higher than the tiers of magic that existed. But the level was not for some hidden tier, but is a level only accessed by the magic tower masters. There existed 12 mage towers in the world, with 2 being inside the capital.
[Basic Magic Breathing Technique]
"A breathing technique... Yeah this is not it.". Karu was browsing the basic magic
fundamental sections.
[Magic Breathing]
[Legends Of The Source of Magic]
"So many useless things..."
[Fundamentals Of Stabilizing Magic]
"There it is.". Karu found the book he was looking for.
"Magic is more of an animal than an object. Magic has its own mind and sometimes it may be a little unstable. The only way to stabilize magic is to develop more of your circle-"
Karu threw the book away and moved on. "Develop my magic circle, I can't do that as my magic was not naturally formed.". Karu kept on looking and looking. He was starting to look like a book goblin. With his size going around a library and flipping through each page, it would attract many people.
"Kid why do-". Karu sliced a slight edge of the man's neck and went away. "I'm busy don't bother me.". The rumors of a little kid looking for books and slicing anyone who gets close spread through the mages tower.
It took days for Karu to even get out of the mages tower. "How long is this gonna take you. It's almost a week." Arlan was standing outside of the tower as always, waiting for Karu to leave. "I'll find it soon, I hope...". Karu once again, didn't look like a child, but more of a man losing hope in something.
Arlan wanted to help and go back immediately, but he has no knowledge of magic, nor any connections with mages that can even help him.
"If I can't find one I'll have to do it myself.". Karu definitely had the intelligence to do it himself, but he lacked wisdom to achieve what he wanted. For his own selfish mindset, he needed the words to be shoved in his face.
Days went by more and more, it was almost two weeks and Arlan is running out of the tiniest patience that he has. He wanted to just drag the child and go home. But in reality, even if he had wanted to, he knew the child would just escape and go into the mages tower. He has spent enough time with Karu to know how much dedication he had.
Waiting for Karu was not the only thing Arlan was doing in the capital. The main thing was fending of Herlon's constant requests. Herlon's request was personal so unlike a direct summon, he could reject them. Of course as Herlon was still a royal, if he keeps rejecting them he would be targeted. But either way if he goes, he knows he will be killed.
"I found it, we can go now! I can't wait to try it immediately. Ready the carriage master!" Karu was finally able to find what he was looking for. The two headed for home.
As they were travelling, Arlan was noticing something. Even if it was small, he didn't need to pay attention to it first. After some time, it was something he could not ignore. It was Karu's magic increasing in amount. At a terrifying rate at that. Tho it was not huge to still be compared to Arlan's mastery of the Green tier. It was a speed that if he continued he could reach Arlan in only a few months.
After everything that has happened, Arlan thought he had nothing more to be surprised about, but as a surprise, he was wrong. 'I just wanna get home and rest. This child is getting too dangerous. I might need to kill him.'. The carriage was trembling as a surge of magic just popped from Karu. It only lasted for a second and everything went back to normal. 'Well, i'm too late. I probably should retire and repent all my sins.'.

"With this I can be stronger than Hero Karu!". Karu laughed happily while staring at the sky. Karu was home outside, at the place he started his training. Karu found the book that thought about the way to control the magic of the human body in a proficient name.
[Human Soul Demonic Magic]
"It was dusted and behind stuck in between the wall and shelves. I won't use it for evil, so it's ok. I put it back too, just in case." For whatever in case that was for, Karu found all he needed to train for continuously for the next couple of years. "I just read the basic understandings and my own thing out of it."
Karu then realized the feat he has achieved. On his own, without the help of Hero Karu, with his own hard work, in his own world, he made it. "I made... a technique on my own... it's a technique I could claim as my own..." Karu looked at the sky and pondered. "I'll name it... 'Self Revelation: First Technique'. I'll create more and more!". As he joyfully stood up and jumped, he stopped and walked back in the house.
"Well time to start my daily routines."

They say being a mother is hard... well maybe it is, but with such a child like Karu, I can say, it's easy being a mother.
My daily life as the mother of a prodigy is simple but still hard. Karu has been an easy child to handle when he was below the age of 5, the time before he went to school.
Those three days were such an emotional ride for me. It felt like I was blindly running on a horse while a war was going on.
Karu truly impressed me. On the first day, I thought he would just die a meaningless death in a meaningless war. Then on the second I was so excited I felt like I could die. On that day, I dreamt of Karu leading the world! Then on the second, finishing first even at the test. That was something else.
As the tests finished I taught Karu all I knew. I was so happy to teach Karu something that I was good at. But I felt kinda sad that he learnt them all too fast. Now I can't even bond with my son again.
I sparred with Karu multiple times to get him used to proper combat. But Karu was not only a prodigy at the sword but even tactical fighting. Karu utilized every movement he could make to defeat me.
Ever since my many defeats to Karu, I have tried my best to defeat him. My daily routine consists of me waking up Karu and cooking his breakfast and leading him to school. For the rest of the time he is not home I practice my sword multiple times, like the days I was still a soldier.
...
"Ow."
"Mom did you burn your hands again?"
"No no, i'm ok."
"Your hand has turned to just white cloth. Careful and stop being clumsy, mom."
I needed to do better. I am his mother and if I can't even help him with anything I fail as one.
...
After training, whenever Karu comes home, we spar.
"That was a close call mom, you're getting better. Thanks mom!".
Just seeing his smile was enough to relieve the pain in my hands. Though it is true, I feel like I am getting better by just studying Karu's movements more and more.
"I still always lose though."

My days go and repeat. If I show my current self to my past, she would be shocked. She probably won't even be able to move for days 'Haha'. I am not a murderer in an endless field of war. My hands are not full of blood and death. My hands are now full of sweat and life.
As I get older, I would put all my life into taking care of Karu, that will be my mission and only mission. I have escaped a wretched past and now have entered a wonderful motherly phase of my life. Even if you were not my own, I am thankful that I found you, my son, Karu.
