After beating up on me for a while, Bi Feng finally stopped.
The expression on her face made it seem like she felt that it was a good practice session…for herself.
As for me, there was nothing that I gained except a bunch of new bruises.
It was clear why everyone didn't come to the morning practice anymore.
Even if there was the reward of being able to ogle Bi Feng while practicing, it really was just too hard on the body. Even if the mind was willing, the body would reach a limit eventually and give out.
So eventually there was no one that came to the morning practice.
As for the afternoon practice, I'm sure that they would still come.
After all, it was only the morning practice that would be like this.
That was because there weren't any teachers that came to supervise the morning training. Teachers were busy in the morning preparing for classes, so they didn't have the time to come to supervise.
That allowed Bi Feng to do whatever she wanted in these morning practices.
The afternoon practices were better since there was a teacher that would be there to provide guidance. With the teacher there, Bi Feng would be much more restrained and wouldn't do this.
After taking a break, Bi Feng raised her sword and said, "Should we start the second round?"
I could hear that there was a trace of disappointment in her voice.
This was most likely where most people stopped since people didn't feel like getting beaten up was worth the chance to see her up close.
But I wasn't most people.
I was here with a mission in mind, so I wouldn't back down in the face of a bit of pain.
I raised my sword and said, "Please."
There was a visible look of surprise in Bi Feng's eyes when she saw this, but then there was a sparkle that appeared in them.
She was about to come forward to swing her sword at me, but then she stopped as if she realized something.
She narrowed her eyes to look at me before saying, "Aren't you Yan Huang's friend? You were in this club?"
My lips couldn't help twitching when I heard this.
You were beating me up without even knowing who I was?
That was what I wanted to scream at her, but I kept it inside since I knew that there was nothing to gain from shouting this at her.
It was also a good thing that there was the mask on my face or she definitely would have been the bitter smile that was on my face.
In response, I just gave a simple nod.
It seemed that it was the right move as Bi Feng looked at me with a more positive gaze before saying, "I hope that you're as tough as he is. He's someone that can really take a beating and fight back."
"Eh?" I couldn't help being caught off guard.
Why did it sound like there was some kind of strange secret between the two of them?
But I knew that Yan Ling was a girl, so I couldn't help feeling strange about this.
While I was caught off guard like this, Bi Feng was already coming at me.
She swung her sword down at my head and I couldn't help taking a step back when I reacted.
I was just trying to move my head away from her sword, but it also made me move my sword forward.
I didn't mean to, but I stabbed her right in the chest as I stumbled back.
Her sword still fell on my head, but for some reason, I heard something strange.
"Ah, not there…"
It was a soft and sensual voice that really didn't suit the only other person in the room who could have made that voice.
I was knocked to the ground after the sword hit my head and I couldn't help feeling a bit dizzy from getting hit in the head like this.
But when I recovered and looked up, I found that Bi Feng was just standing there in a daze.
The most shocking thing about all of this was that…there was a blush that was on her face that I had never seen before.
The other hand that wasn't holding the sword was at her chest and she seemed to be muttering something.
When I listened closely, I heard something strange.
"This feeling…what is this feeling? Why have I never felt this feeling before? Why is it that I want to feel this feeling even more?"
Eh?!?!
Was this the kind of character that Bi Feng had?
No matter how I looked at it, this shouldn't be the kind of character that Bi Feng had.
After an awkward moment of silence, I gave a cough and said, "Senior, are you alright?"
Bi Feng came back to her senses and snapped out of her thoughts when she heard my voice.
She looked at me for a bit before giving a cough and saying, "I'm fine."
Then her voice turned sharp again as she said, "All you did was get one lucky hit in, don't get ahead of yourself."
I revealed a bitter smile, but secretly I was also relieved.
It seemed that I hadn't triggered any strange flags like I was worried about.
Bi Feng raised her sword and said, "Come, let's go again."
I gave a nod before standing up and raising my sword to face her.
But this time, I could tell that her sword was much slower than before.
Though she still overwhelmed me, I found that it was easier for me to keep up with her.
There was also this strange blush that was on her face as she still held her chest with her other hand.
I could also see that her mouth was moving, so I focused my hearing to see if I could hear what she was saying.
"This isn't right, this isn't the feeling that I want…"
