White particles forming around her body, especially on her shoulders, chest, stomach thighs and feet, there was also some that condensed at both of her hands and on top of her head.
As if trying to form something, those condensed quickly and just like a magical girl, the maid battle outfit, sword and shield, along with the maid metallic headband, appeared out of nowhere from those light particles.
The weapon, armor and artifact were the three gears one card could equip.
Obviously, the weapon was quite apparent here, as there was nothing before in her hands, but now she was holding a single handed sword and a small round shield, barely covering her forearm.
The maid battle dress, instead, lengthened her skirt to below her knees and gave it a perfect circular shape covered in heavy metal plates.
The top of her shoulders were also covered by small metal plates, while she wore a chestplate to protect her breast and apparently stop it from moving as it seemed to be a tight fit from what he had seen last night with her.
She also wore metal boots instead of her casual boots and shin guards, still in metal.
Finally, the artefact, was in fact her headband which didn't seemed much different from a normal one, though called Magical maid headband, the metal part in it was engraved with a protective spell for her head and covered by the clothes itself to hide it.
Well, that's how her own set of gear was.
" Was there any monster around when you got out ? "
Since she was carrying the sword and shield, he took the initiative to step out first, at least to open the door for both of them.
But as soon as the door opened, he was welcomed with a fresh breeze and a plain on his right side, while on his left was a lush, green forest.
The plain, which he could see from the window inside the house, really felt empty as there was nothing in sight besides some trees here and there along with the grass sprouting everywhere.
The forest, instead, showed more variety, with bushes, vines, and even a small road apparently made from walking around.
" I haven't seen a single monster, only small animals and fruits, though if one were to appear, I'll willingly risk my life to protect you, master. "
By the time he was done looking around and scanning his surroundings, he understood her answer, and while it was commending that she would go so far for him, it wasn't something that he wanted.
" Don't risk your life, if we can both flee, then we'll do so, and if you intend to sacrifice yourself when it's not needed, I'll just call you back as a card, understood ? "
Of course, he wasn't in the game anymore, and he didn't knew what would happen if she was to die as well.
Unlike in the arena or any other mode where a character could be ' revived ' and used again, if he were to lose his only five star right now, he would surely call himself an idiot for at least a month, if not more.
And besides the fact that she was a five star, after what happened between the two of them, he didn't wanted to lose her, but wouldn't admit it properly himself.

Since she got his thoughts, he stepped away from the small entrance of the cabin to let her come out as well before closing the door, then waiting for her to lead the way.
But walking in the forest wasn't really fun after a few minutes, and his curiosity died pretty quickly as nothing happened.
If it wasn't for the sounds coming from his sides and behind him, he would really think that the forest was deserted as he didn't saw a single animal yet, maybe because she was walking a few steps in front of him and the animals were avoiding them.

With nothing else to do, he murmured to himself, looking at the small window that opened in front of him.
There was only seven of them, quests that is, but the ressources obtained from them would change based on the difficulty, and luckily for him, he still had the quests accomplished from yesterday, as the reset time was set to a few hours from now, apparently around noon.
And the quests were as follow :
- Check-in /Clear
- Use a consumable 1/1 /Clear
- Hunt 10 monsters 0/10
- Merge an item 0/1
- Start a date 1/1 /Clear
- Buy an item from the shop 0/1
- Start an expedition 1/1 /Clear
Truly, they were simple missions, made to be cleared every day easily, though it appeared that the conditions to clear some of them have changed.
The date with a girl was using a ressource called chat energy, and would take at most five minutes to clear and give you a small dialogue to read, this one changing based on the girl and where you would take it.
As for the expedition, it was just sending a girl away to gather ressources for you while you could just wait a few hours and come back on the game to get them, but now it was already cleared.
Even if he didn't knew if the date cleared itself during his time with her yesterday or right now as they went out, and if the expedition was when she went alone outside or now with him, since they were cleared, he quickly grabbed the rewards before opening the store window.
' About 2000 credits and 1.5M coins huh.. '
An amount that could be called a laughing stock compared to his previous wealth, but was in fact good enough for a starter.
He was lucky to get a five star with a maxed affinity, if it was even a three star, the amount received would only be a fraction of the one he had now, that's how much the rewards were getting better for each level.
Going through the store, he did intented to clear the mission quickly and without spending anything, as the shop itself had a daily free item, a weekly one and also a monthly one.
The items wouldn't change for him though, with the daily one being a small stamina potion, the weekly one being three white cards shards, and finally the monthly one being a blank inscription and a sex toy item box.
Now, what was the use of a stamina potion in a game with no energy to spend when doing a level as it was the kind that you could grind everyday ?
The answer is simple, it's to give back some energy to a girl after a date and not wait too long before starting another one, and it was also a consumable to be used for the daily quests.
Also, the three white card shards per week didn't seemed much, but after three weeks, it will give you a free character from 1 to 3 stars, there was no shards of characters after all, and if you wanted white card shards by yourself, you could only keep farming as some monsters could drop them or you were to obtain them by opening chests in dungeons, some mission gave them in rewards too just in case.
Finally, the white inscription was basically a blank canvas, capable of being used on every white cards to awaken them once, which was pretty alright since the affinity level of 1 star cards would only give you one and even the 3 stars would give you three of them, which was not enough for the 5 maximum inscriptions per card.
... The sex toy item box was usually to raise the affinity with a character and/or to unlock a specific sex scene, but in this realistic world, it was pretty obvious what it would serves for.

Lifting his eyes from the screen after he finished taking his rewards like a hoarder, not much time has passed since he started checking the quests, but at least he finally arrived to destination.
After walking a few more steps, he could finally see the pond coming into view through the trees, and while it wasn't a big one, it would certainly be sufficient for the time being.
But thing is, there was a wolf, with glowing red eyes, drinking the water that was in it, that raised it's head and showed it's teeth as soon as they got closer.
