Chapter 1 - A wish to a better life

Sirens sounds

The emergence of the previously underestimated and overlooked individual or group. With a somber tone, the officer confirmed the absence of a pulse.

They diligently documented the scene, photographing the body from every angle, recognizing the importance of a thorough report

Following this, they carefully secured the area, cordoning it off to await the arrival of the coroner.

A few minutes back

As the police cruiser approached the dilapidated apartment complex, its vibrant red and blue lights illuminated the grimy walls.

In response to a concerned neighbor's call about a peculiar odor emanating from unit 205, the officers cautiously exited their vehicle, exchanging apprehensive glances. Ascending the stairs, they noticed that the door was already slightly ajar.

One officer gingerly pushed it open with his flashlight, his voice echoing through the eerie silence, "Hello? Is anyone here?"

Their entrance was met with an immediate assault on their senses, as a putrid stench permeated the air, accompanied by an unsettling stillness. It was only after they had stepped outside and adorned their blue gloves that one officer tentatively picked up the enigmatic diary left behind, pondering the contents within.

Curiosity consumed their thoughts as they wondered about the final words and untold story that this unfortunate soul may have left behind.

Proceeding further into the apartment, the beam of light from their flashlight abruptly landed on the source of the noxious odor - the lifeless body of a man suspended from a rope tied to a ceiling pipe.

The tragic sight left his partner gasping in disbelief. While one officer approached to check for signs of life, the other meticulously surveyed the surroundings. Surprisingly, there were no visible indications of a struggle.

Apart from the overturned chair beneath the deceased man, the walls were peeling, exposing their bareness. The apartment itself was eerily devoid of furniture and possessions, save for a foreboding notebook resting ominously on a small table.

Officer Kent carefully peruses the diary, his eyes scanning across the pages, while his lips move, softly uttering the words written within.

Dear World

When individuals are born into impoverished circumstances, their aspirations often revolve around improving their situation.

This commonly results in two distinct paths; one entails diligently working towards their goals and maximizing their potential, while the other involves continuously dreaming but concurrently lamenting about the perceived injustices of life.

Ever since I was a young child born into difficult circumstances, I have always been acutely aware of the challenges I faced. Unlike those who were fortunate enough to be provided with the luxuries of life, I was not fed with a silver or bronze spoon.

This realization fueled my determination to improve my worth, elevate my circumstances, and contribute something meaningful to society.

However, just when I thought I had finally gained control over the reins of the world, someone cruelly severed the tight grip I had on them. It's disheartening, but I suppose I shouldn't be surprised considering the sorry state of this world we live in.

Perhaps it was merely karma, the relentless force that came back to haunt me, as I had to tread upon others, whether consciously or unconsciously, in order to reach the position I had achieved

Similar to my own experience, I understand that in various aspects of your life, things may be incredibly difficult. Perhaps it is in your romantic relationships, where the person you desire does not reciprocate those feelings, leaving you either single or settling for someone who may not be the best fit for you, potentially leading to negative consequences. Alternatively, you may find yourself facing hardships in other areas of life.

However, I want to assure you, my dear brothers and sisters, that everything will eventually be alright. We are currently enduring a period of adversity and struggle, but it is important to remember that this is merely a phase in our journey.

Rest assured that brighter days are ahead, although the timing of their arrival may be uncertain.

I must admit, I have been quite vocal about my frustrations with the world and how it seems to treat people unfairly.

I understand that you may be reluctant to acknowledge any instances where you may have treated others unfairly, but I want to share a realization with you.

As long as we are human beings, our mere existence has the potential to offend someone, unless of course, you happen to be an alien disguised as a human.

Just between you and me, I've always had a fascination with the idea of encountering an alien who happens to be in a relationship.

Who knows, I may have already passed away by the time you read this. But if you are indeed an alien, I implore you to send a message to the underworld. It would truly make my day.

The officers look up at the window with a mix of sorrow and despair, their flashlights having initially revealed the lifeless body hanging from the rope, it becomes clear that this was his last attempt to escape the unbearable pain he was enduring. The diary he left behind holds a multitude of intricate emotions and experiences, waiting to be fully explored and understood.

Somewhere in the void

From the eerie silence and blackness, a booming voice began to echo out

"I am Galaxor, Eater of Worlds, Destroyer of Solar Systems, Bringer of Doom to all Civilizations!"

Out of the boundless expanse of space, a massive form started to materialize, gradually bathed in the radiant light emitted by distant galaxies. This extraordinary colossal entity, with its twisted appendages resembling celestial bodies and eyes ablaze with an otherworldly fire, towered over the diminutive expanse of Earth's solar system.

The sheer enormity of the terrifying creature was beyond what the human mind could comprehend. It measured a length that exceeded the circumference of the mighty planet Jupiter by just one foot. Its body was composed of layers upon layers of sinewy muscles, stacked like towering stories, and they rippled across its frame with incredible power. With each flex, it possessed the strength to shatter planets as easily as one would crumble dirt clods.
