The creature's body resembled a vast landscape of stone and rock, with jagged spikes and stony protrusions protruding in all directions. It was as if an entire mountain had been transformed into a living entity, with each craggy rise towering even higher than Mount Everest. Within the intricate network of shadowy crags and crevices, there seemed to be no end.
The face that emerged appeared as if it had been plucked straight from the depths of horrifying dreams. Its eyes, resembling massive boiling supernovas, peered down with an intense and menacing glare, capable of melting away any semblance of a horizon.
Behind the shadowy pupils flickered billowing flames, giving the impression that the face promised nothing but relentless and catastrophic destruction. Positioned beneath the eyes were rows of shattered obsidian, forming a chaotic arrangement of teeth that awaited the opportunity to crush all existence. Atop its head, two curved horns protruded like black holes, seemingly determined to drag every last trace of hope into an eternal abyss.
The cosmic horror had one sole purpose, which was to conquer every aspect of existence, eradicating everything in its path and leaving behind only an eerie, lifeless hush. It embodied the concept of Armageddon and was now set free to roam the cosmos. With a sense of amusement, it looked down upon the twilight and the specks of light known as solar mites, realizing they were perfect targets for annihilation.
"For countless millennia I have traversed the cold vacuums, spinning my web of destruction against any who dare oppose or stand idle in my path!" His voice boomed like a hundred thousand thunders as eyes peered off through the cosmos.
"What pitiful cog of creation has the misfortune of bringing my gaze down upon it now...ENOUGH!" the voice echoed in rage as his gaze fell upon Earth's solar system. His gargantuan form hovered ominously among the twinkling stars.
"Ahhh...but what tiny, fragile lifeforms have we here...perfectly suited for annihilation beneath my feet! No more nor less than insects to be ground into the cosmic dirt! Ha ha ha!"
His booming taunts reverberated through the frozen silence of space as worlds hung precariously in the balance against this mammoth harbinger of disaster...
The mammoth cosmic entity hovering ominously over the planet Eventide curled its mouth into a malevolent sneer, baring rows of jagged obsidian teeth. Though compelled by ancient accords with the divine Ascended beings to spare Eventide outright destruction, the agreements did not forbid unleashing other forms of havoc.
"Wormlings! Your world shall not escape my grasp so easily!" the being bellowed, its voice reverberating through space. "You believe your gods protect you? We shall test those limits!"
With a thunderous snap of its gnarled fingers, portals tore open around Eventide, unleashing swarms of otherworldly monstrosities - fierce dragon-like beasts with dark blade-tipped wings and serpentine fangs dripping venom. Led by a massive three-headed hydra erupting flames, the nightmarish horde descended toward the glittering silver cities below.
As calamity and chaos consumed the skies, the cataclysmic entity watched, growling in malicious glee.
"Puny planet! Your own gods decreed no direct destruction, but their powers are feeble to repel my infinite armies! Cry havoc my pets! Bring these naive beings to their knees! Compel them to revoke their planet's sanctified protections! Raze all to ash! Their beloved shining world will be mine to annihilate wholly!"
His booming taunts were soon matched by shrieks of terror from the planet below as the swarming legion fell upon them. The hydra's flames already blackening the skies...
As flaming destruction rained down from the swarming demon armies filling Eventide's formerly peaceful lavender skies, panicked cries echoed from the elegant silver cities below. The beings of Eventide had never fathomed such ruthless, unprovoked calamity could reach their harmonious world.
Nowhere remained untouched by the hydra-led onslaught. Its snake-like heads spewed endless infernos reducing citizens' crystalline towers to melted debris in mere moments. The vast dragon creatures bombarded urban centers with crackling orbs of dark energy harvested from the cosmic void, decimating vibrant town squares and marketplaces teeming only hours before.
Common folk fled in horror while Eventide's winged warriors bravely mustered counter-attacks, weaving through the airborne invaders towards the epicenter hydra hoping to quell its frenzied assault. But the three-headed terror dispatched them easily with gnashing teeth and swipes of its spiked, flaming tails.
Watching the feeble defense attempts with amusement, the colossal entity lingering above laughed, its voice reverberating for lightyears in every direction through the galaxy. "That's right my pets! Throw these deluded creatures from their sheltered coddled illusions into utter despondency! Drag them into the same cold harsh realities that forged your lord and master! They wished to hide away on this 'sanctuary' planet, deaf to the greater cosmos's suffering! Now...they shall suffer most exquisitely!"
The hydra echoed its master's triumphant sneer, intensifying the relentless barrage. Soon not even ashes would remain if the deities did not intervene...but to the entity cloaked by the burning skies, intervention was precisely the primary ambition...
As Eventide teetered on annihilation from the endless swarms led by the rampaging hydra, the air was suddenly pierced by a blinding pillar of radiant light. Descending through the atmospheric carnage were three resplendent divine beings wreathed in auras of cosmic energy - the planetary gods of Eventide themselves.
"Cease at once Destroyer!" their voices echoed in unison through reality itself. "You violate the ancient accords sworn between us guardians before the cosmic tribunal eons ago!"
The colossal entity hovering malevolently turned, fire blazing in its fathomless eyes. "Your sanctimonious contracts mean nothing anymore! I agreed not to unravel this trivial planet directly by my hands. But my ravenous armies are bound by no such restraints!" To accentuate its taunt, the hydra let loose another apocalyptic burst of flames.
"Technicalities and semantics will not deter our judgment!" the gods retorted, raising radiant arms. "You clearly have orchestrated intentional, malicious exploitation of loopholes for destruction! Therefore we call upon the Tribunal's authority to carry out sealing judgment!"
A look of sudden unease broke through the giant Destroyer's bravado. Ancient memories stirred of the agonizing eternity spent frozen beyond space and time the last instance it tempted Tribunal law over 10,000 years ago.
"You DARE?!" it bellowed, the hydra pausing its ongoing demolition at sensing its master's distress.
