In the coming days, the King made preparations for his eldest son to take the throne. Several nobles agreed to back Prince Zane should he try to usurp the throne.
Prince Zane discussed his plans with the New Ottawan Nobles as the days passed. As the day of the Coronation arrived, Lady Juno and her team had created the most powerful weapon known to human-kind. The LLPR or Lasalle Lake Powered Rifle, the rifle was a single shot, electro-magnetic cell weapon. It was build by the engineers of the former Lasalle Lake Nuclear Power Plant. The rifle was to be mounted to the Ghost's new set of armor that Juno had completed.
As Prince Zane helped the Ghost get suited up, Juno activated the massive power cell for the armor.
The hell is this suit called Juno?
This is the most advanced suit of armor we could create under these conditions. It is called Generation One. The mounted arm cannon is the most powerful weapon in our arsenal, rivaling that of even of the atomic bomb.

As the ceremony began, everyone took their places. The allied nobles all had guards stationed nearby to prevent any attempts to stop the assassination of Prince Roan. As the trumpets began to play and the cleric marched the crown to the center of elevated stage, the tension began to rise.
King Eldword awaited Prince Roan to take the stage and the Kingdom held its breath.
Beastmen, elves and lower classed humans all knew that the rule of a King Roan spelled their deaths for sure. They needed something to happen, something to drastically shake this country to the core.

As the Cleric places the crown upon the head of King Roan, King Roan stands and turns to address the nation.
My fellow citizens of Ashfeld, as your new king I...As King Roan paused a moment, the sound of jet engines filled the air. Prince Zane and the Ghost were dropped into the ceremony, interrupting the coronation.

The Ghost lines up his shot and fires. The air become hot and static electricity buzzes around the barrel of the cannon. The nuclear-orange beam of energy slams into King Roan, causing his body to convulse and shake. His eyes were filled with terror as shrieks of pain came from the King's mouth. Former King Eldword and his Queen dove out of the way along with the Cleric. The Nobles shielded their eyes and so did the guards.
As the brilliant orange light display died down, everyone turned to see where King Roan once stood, the was a blackened corpse that dissolved into black ash as a breeze entered the room.
The crown was picked up by Reverend Everett as Zane took off the protective clothing.
PRINCE ZANE! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!

The nobles, citizens, King, Queen, and cleric all watched as Reverend Everett swore in King Zane as the new King of Ashfeld.
The streets erupted into chaos with the assassination of Prince Roan at the hands of his younger brother.
Guards, arrest former King Eldword, the Queen and the nobles who refuse to bow to me. Ghost, see to it that the nobles we discovered are treated the same way they treated their slaves.
As King Zane took the throne the nation was demanding answers to what the hell had just happened.
