Chapter 7 - The Wallpaper

=My phone wallpaper, its character turns alive.=

My phone wallpaper, its character turns alive. It was a strange and unexpected occurrence. I had always thought of my phone wallpaper as just a static image, a mere decoration for my device. But one day, as I was scrolling through my apps, I noticed something peculiar. The character on my wallpaper, a cute and cartoonish creature, was moving. Its eyes were blinking, its mouth was opening and closing, and it even seemed to be waving at me. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief, thinking that I must be hallucinating. But the character continued to move, as if it was trying to communicate with me.

I narrowed my eyes in annoyance. Those visions are getting out of hand lately. I had been experiencing strange and unexplainable things for the past few weeks. It started with small things, like objects moving on their own or hearing whispers when no one was around. But now, my phone wallpaper was coming to life. I couldn't help but wonder if I was losing my mind. 'Should I slow down with eating magic mushrooms?' I mused to myself. But then how will you connect to the highest superpower source?' that constant nagging voice in my head sneered.

I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. I needed to focus on finding a logical explanation for this bizarre phenomenon. I decided to do some research and discovered that my phone wallpaper was actually a popular character from a new virtual reality game. The game used augmented reality technology, which explained why the character seemed to be alive on my phone. But how did it end up on my wallpaper?

As I delved deeper into my investigation, I stumbled upon a forum where other users were experiencing the same thing. It seemed that the game developers had accidentally released a glitch that caused the character to appear on people's phone wallpapers. Many users were delighted with the unexpected surprise, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. It was a bit too much of everyday stimulation of my senses.

I decided to reach out to the game developers and inform them of the glitch. They were grateful for my help and offered to fix the issue immediately. As I watched the character on my wallpaper disappear, I felt relief - no silly things trying to catch my attention when there's no time for it, nor that annoying voice in my head arguing with me in the worst possible moments.

Finally I was at peace and no one was nagging me when I put a magic mushroom in my mouth.
