Scowling, Chi Cheng reluctantly accepted the weapon.
"You didn't mention anything about this before…" Chi Cheng analysed the Gundao's design, tracing the curved structure with scalloped blades.
"You agreed to be my disciple so you must follow the training exercises that all my disciples undergo daily." With his gaze narrowing arrogantly, the Grandmaster was impatient to witness what skills Chi Cheng would display.
"I believe you've completely healed," the Grandmaster stated, hinting at the events that transpired the previous night. "And you did promise you would let me choose a weapon when you were better and you would display your skills with them."
Sighing defeatedly, Chi Cheng decided to comply.
"I want you to show me Primordial Tempest Dance specifically," Han Xuelian added.
"Give me a wooden staff," Chi Cheng requested, handing the Gundao spear back to Han Xuelian. "I won't display that style with an actual weapon."
