Chapter 1 - 1.An Unexpected Beginning.

"The dim and warm lighting in the hotel suite created an ambiguous atmosphere."

Wen Yu and an attractive stranger stumbled and kissed passionately. Guo Xiang, her ex-boyfriend, announced his engagement tonight .

Intoxicated by booze and the allure of a man, she drowned her sorrows at the pub. Wen Yu ended up here after following him.

Guo Xiang felt entitled to pamper herself because she could neglect their four years of love and rise to marry a wealthy heiress from Luo's family casting her aside.

Wen Yu leaned on the man's shoulder, ignoring everything around her and purred a name like a cat: 'Guo Xiang!'

All intimacy came to a screeching halt.

The lights turned on with a gentle click...

The man's face was revealed by the intense light. Luo Shao was the country's top lawyer, regarded as the grim reaper in the legal world. He was the epitome of metropolitan elite masculinity, with a plethora of endowments.

What made matters worse was his unusual identity: he was the elder brother of that dishonest scumbag, Guo Xiang. Wen Yu regained consciousness. She gently closed her eyes: incredible! She almost had an affair with her ex-lover's soon to be brother in law!

Louise Luo let go of the woman. He smoked a cigarette while leaning against the wall, observing her with a teasing look,

'Quite intriguing, Miss Wen.'

'What's the psychology behind kissing me?' he inquired nonchalantly, flicking the ashes.

"Do you want to be grossed out your ex boyfriend by sleeping with me ?"

Said by him hilariously .

Louise Luo clearly recognized her. When Yu couldn't pretend to be anything else. Luo Shao was far too well-known. Claiming she didn't know him would be disingenuous, even if she didn't identify him before because she was under the influence.

She felt she couldn't afford to anger such a powerful man, so all she could say was, 'I'm sorry, Mr. Luo , I've had too much to drink.'

Louise Luo Shao did not make her life difficult. He straightened up and putting on his cloth after completing a cigarette and handed her a coat, saying, 'Put this on, I'll take you back.'

Wen Yu made no fuss. She softly thanked him with sense of shameful deepest in her heart .

On the trip going back home , both of us not speaking to each other all might due to the awkwardness.

"Wen Yu looks at him from time to time."

Louise has a great profile and distinguishing facial characteristics; his shirt conceals a brand yet oozes refinement.

Wen Yu believes that such a man would attract a lot of female attention.

Louise Luo turns after parking, his eyes lingering for a while on her slender and fair legs, then retrieves a business card from the front compartment and offers it to Wen Yu.

A simple notion can elicit understanding in men and women's relationships.

Wen Yu couldn't believe he still desired intimacy with her after his name was disclosed.

Wen Yu's scalp tingled at the notion of Louise Luo's standing, despite the fact that he is charming and spending time with him would undoubtedly be attractive.

She hesitated before saying,

"Lawyer Louise , let's not keep in touch."

Louise Lou didn't appear to be that bothered.

Wen Man may be attractive, but he is not a pushover.

"You're better suited for a household life, "he said, withdrawing the card and giving a restrained nod.

Wen Yu felt uncomfortable, but Louise left the car with grace and opened the door for her, acting as though the lovely evening had never happened.

Gradually, the golden rollsroyces rolled away.

Wen Yu shivered in the chilly wind and remembered she had left her coat behind at the car.

Her phone rang as she was considering whether to chase up and get it back from Louise.

Aunt Ruan called from her house, saying, "Wen Yu, come back quickly, something's happened at home!" in an agitated and emotional voice.

Aunt Ruan merely urging Wen Yu to come back right away when she urgently asked, unable to provide an explanation over the phone.
