I had now been staying in the tourist district of Atlantis for a little over eight hours now and all i could say about the city was that it was absolutely revolutionary for the human quality of life. There were parks everywhere, police calmly and peacefully monitoring the streets and acting out of kindness and empathy. There was constant fresh water being dispensed by fresh water taps around the city, there were shops scattered throughout the different sections with enough cultural diversity to be able to choose from any form of dish around the globe. The hubbub looked small in comparison to the city as the several thousand people walking through the tourism district were small in comparison to the colossal size of the streets and buildings. It was as if this city was meant to house billions not millions, and it probably was all things considered...
Emelia was a woman to apparently plan ahead, she already knew that Humanity would expand and was showing a pathway forwards that would exemplify the correct way of growing to sustain our growing demand.
Honestly I think i am becoming a fan girl, this city is just way too good, the security way too trust worthy and the crime at such a low rate that it makes every other country look like cesspools of crime and villainy.
I slowly backed away from my 20th floor room's window and walked over to the kitchen in the kitchen of the hotel room. Yeah, we get our own fucking kitchen... What in the fuck is every other country doing? It was so convenient as it allowed me to cook things when i wanted to, make myself coffee and have extra space for me and my camera crew. The room was rather expensive in Rubles though as it cost RT news tens of thousands of Rubles just to stay for a few days.
I watched as the camera crew that was staying alongside me during this were packing up and getting ready to go to the venue several hours ahead of the main segment of it. We did this because it would allow us to get used to the way the Atlanteans do things.
'Let's hope everything goes well!'

"Hey, Illyana, how do i look?"
I spun and showed off my long flowing black trench coat that was I was using to cover up my stomach a little. Underneath I had a nice looking frock shirt that was solid white with touches of crimson along the edges as on my legs i had a deep black trouser made of silk.
"Stunning as always honey, but please don't push yourself... It's not just you there, it is our kids as well."
"Always! I don't ever forget my women or my kids, it's a constant in my mind."
"Good."
She smiled as she grabbed the trench coat and whooshed it a bit to straighten it out. To the side was Jean and Oceana, their faces beaming in happiness at my words as I once again cracked my neck to the side and looked into the mirror. This would be my first conference with the world and I needed to make an impression, if this was done wrong issues could appear in the future. With stray though popping into my mind I looked at Jean.
"Jean, are the prisoners all ready?"
"Yes honey, they will be escorted by multiple soldiers and we have Alpha Team protecting the venue. All will be fine."
"Okay, great, that wasn't a flag at all..."
"You're stressing too much, stop it, it isn't good for the babies." (Oceana)
"I'll get right on that then, mam!" I did a mock salute that scored a chuckle from Jean but a small unamused stare from Oceana herself.
'Well fucking excuse me for being a bit cautious and having some laughs...'
[You're excused.]
'Shit, fuck, i forgot you could do that!'
"Stop using your mental speech!" (Illyana)
"Fine."
I pouted a little as I was getting a little lambasted by my women, thirty minutes before the conference. Sometimes marriage was a rollercoaster of fun and happiness then others it became a 'pick on her' session.

I was standing with the rest of my camera crew as we set up the final touches on the cameras, my seat actually being up the front. I was somewhat nervous at seeing the angelic woman who had created this place, and conversing with her was just as worrying as she seemed to be rather austere and intimidating. Ever since i saw that video of her lifting the Nuclear Sub i couldn't fathom challenging her.
Minutes passed and the checks were done, I was pushed away by the crew and told to do my job whilst they did theirs. I was a bit hurt at the abrasiveness of my co-workers and my boss but they were right ultimately, i needed to do my job. Slapping my face a little I walked up to the front row alongside news outlets such a Rebel News, Sky News and Fox News. Apparently they had all cleaned house of recent and had a huge kafuffle with the American Government and the Australian Government respectively. The rest of the people on the front row were YouTubers who ran journalist channels. Funnily enough Asmongold was also there, his usual white shirt replaced with a black suit and tie.
I was nervous as this was my first time playing with the big leagues.
'Breathe, just breathe... You can do this.'
I sat down on one of the reasonably comfortable chairs and felt it change to my body size instantly, making me extremely comfortable. I relaxed into my chair, my emotions fading to the back of my mind as I awaited Emelia, who was supposed to come out in a few minutes.

I was standing backstage and seeing the thousands of people sitting in the auditorium. There were all sorts of popular YouTubers, Influencers, Media and Government Officials here from many different countries. My nerves weren't really an issue as I was used to speaking to large crowds by now, it was just the realisation that I was about to do something that could possibly be the most impactful event in human history. It was surreal.
'Well... No time like the present. As Deadpool would say, Maximum Effort!'
I stepped out from behind the deep velvet curtains and slowly made my way to the podium. At this moment the room turned silent, especially when Illyana, Jean, Oceana and Skadi came onto stage with me; Idun being to busy with caring for her apples at this moment.
The silence was deafening and only the vague sounds of camera snaps could be heard from placed in the back of the auditorium. The rest of the room was rather dark with the most emphasis of light being on stage and around the front of the crowd. I got behind the podium, no paper or any sort of speech prepared, only me. The lights suddenly flickered and switched to me mainly as I noticed the recording lights of several cameras switch on.
"Welcome, everyone, to Atlantis."
"I am Emelia Lionheart, the leader of The Veritas Imperium... Yes, this is the name of our nation. Now before we descend into deep topics I would like to thank you all for coming on such short notice and breaking your usual schedules to meet me here."
There was small murmuring from the crowd, approval being the most potent emotion in this situation. I smiled lightly and relaxed somewhat. Illyana and Jean looked somewhat stiff as Skadi just ignored everyone in the room, staying perfectly comfortable.
"Now, onto the main purpose of my calling of you all."
"Unfortunately today I have some dreadful news with relation to the highest echelons of our society... As of two days ago my country ran countless operations to apprehend and contain these foul people for the crimes of Paedophilia, Political Manipulation, War Crimes, Treason, Murder, Bribery, Mass Tax Evasion, Monetary Manipulation, Theft, Blackmail, Rape, Torture and Genocide."
"Now, some of you may be wondering, where is the proof and why did you quickly take action without revealing it and getting the governments to go through with a trial."
"To that, i say: They were planning for an alien species to replace humans, terraform Earth for that new species and profit from it. I had no option but to strike and capture them with haste. As for the charges, well, I will be hosting a massive tribunal on the level of the Nuremburg Trials after World War 2 but with as many country representatives as we can amass."
There were massive whispered conversation spreading through the room as i heard a man in the front row openly state his opinion.
"I think that checks out!"
Brave of him but I was more concerned about calming everyone down, telling the date of the event and moving onto question time.
"As for the date of this Trial, it will be 4 months from now. But, knowing that you all would be disappointed if you could not get an image or view of these elites, i have brought them out for you all to see."
From the right side of the stage the curtains opened as my soldiers, dressed in their army tactical gear, dragged several chained people out. The whole world got a good look at these people and it was spectacular to see the reactions of some of the people in the room. The YouTubers were all going off their rockers as they screamed out in shock and melodramatic acting. One reporter was passing her eyes over each of the figures and she quickly began to take notes.
The rest of the auditorium was in chaos with hushed conversations, whispers and gasps. A lot of these elites were popular people and some were completely unknown. Their geographical origins didn't matter much but they were spread out in that sense, coming from everywhere.
