Clara Kane was seated at a wonderful table at the expensive and luxurious Kane's Dining Chambers.
At her table sitting with her were Bruce Slader and Adonis Kane.
Bruce of course was complaining about how much of his work stayed piled up on his desk while he sat there picking something to eat. The waiter waited patiently for the trio to order.
"Will you stop thinking of work for two seconds, Bruce?" Clara Kane enquired in her most annoyed tone, "You can go right back after this delicious meal. At Kane Dining Chambers, we do not disappoint, you know."
"Even without your head chef?" Bruce Slader asked, his eyes still roaming through the large menu.
One of Clara's elegant fingers that had moved across the menu to change the page froze when Clara heard Bruce's words, "What?"
Bruce Slader sighed, "You weren't informed when you stepped in? Your Head Chef is out of the kitchen. She will not be overseeing this meal."
