"So," Clara Kane smiled.
She crossed her legs under the table.
The young heiress was seated for lunch with two of the most dangerous men in the underground.
It was Adonis Kane. He looked up at her, his expression only filled with emotion since it was his sister he was sitting next to.
Bruce Slader was busy drinking from his glass of water, only his eyes rested on Clara's face.
"So, how is it that both the men in my life have fallen for pretty girls at the same time?"
Adonis raised his eyebrows while Bruce spluttered and choked on his face.
"I beg your pardon, Clara?" Adonis Kane asked, "Are you talking about Bruce and myself?"
"Of course." Clara Kane's eyes were sparkling.
"Well," Adonis' eyes had widened, her diamond earring glinting in the light, "I am unsure of what you are talking about. But I do want to hear more."
