Clara Kane shook her head with a sigh, two wisps of her pale blond hair waving around in the air as she did so, "Bruce, I am not a child who refuses to do homework. I am Clara Kane, in charge of all of the luxurious Kane Hotel. I am perfect. I don't waste time like you think I do. I get my to-do list done all the time. You don't have to tell me!"
Bruce stared at her, slowly narrowing his eyes, "Really?"
"Really!" Clara Kane snapped her book down and set it on the table with force. She could not believe Bruce was insinuating that she was improper with completing her tasks. Clara took her work seriously and had never failed to deliver on her work commitments. She prided herself on always being two steps ahead of everyone else.
"So, last month, when Grandfather Kane threw out the idea of an impromptu trip the amusement park, you did not just blow of your whole day of appointments to accompany him."
