It was the evening, the sky had gone red and once again Harry was strolling across a paved road.
He looked at a house standing about thirty meters away from him, there was smoke coming from the chimney and the roof was made old and slightly rusted metal.
" Miss Zelda must be baking another batch of bread, I wonder who ordered this time." He thought, walking towards the house.
He was wearing a red hooded coat a brown shirt and black strides, since the past two weeks wearing hoods had become a habit for him.
When he entered the house, he saw a lady wearing a grey gown and an apron tied to her waist attending to five loafs of bread which were on the table in front of her.
" Oh Harry, you're back already?" She asked the moment she saw.
" Well, I'm pretty used to long-distance walks, and besides their house wasn't that far away either."
" I'm sorry that I have to bother you again after all you've done today, but could you please deliver this bread to Miss Howard." She said, handing him a wooden box that had the loaves of bread packaged inside it.
" Oh, Evelyn! Do you mind escorting Harry to Miss Howard's?" She called out at the top of her lungs.
They both stood there waiting and after a while a girl about sixteen years of age came in through the door, she was wearing a brown dress with a hood that reached past her hips and was split at both sides along with a pair of black shorts.
She had a slight frown on her face and walked straight towards the exit without giving care to anyone in the room.
" Let's go." She said, opening the door.
Harry followed her with the box safely carried by his chest with both hands, they both went past the village and approached the forest which had a path leading up a hill.
" Her house is just up ahead." She said, moving forward.
Harry looked up at the hill and saw a house built with bricks sitting there, a slight shiver went down his spine, the forest was sounding with cries of owes and crickets and there would be a slight ruffling of leaves each minute.
Harry walked along with her and immediately turned to his right in fear after hearing the sound of leaves ruffling only to see a large frog crawl out from the bush.
" Don't go leaping out of your pants yet, vale beasts appear only at night and only a few weak ones come here." She said, turning towards him.
" I understand." He replied, trying to keep his composure.
It took them a while but they finally approached the door of the building, and Harry immediately signalled her to stop.
She began to sniff the air and Harry became positive that she could perceive it too, the strong scent of blood that was coming from inside the house.
He dropped the box filled with bread by the side of his feet, unsheathed his sword, and then proceeded to open the door of the house.
They didn't see a trail of blood when they opened the door but suddenly a human figure, completely disfigured and clothed in tattered clothes leaped towards them.
She swung her hand at it and a water blade appeared, slicing it in half, she immediately backed away and a few seconds after that, the zombie put its body back together and got up again.
They backed away, Harry gripped his sword tightly while balls of water appeared on her hand and this time when the figure came out of the house its face came into view.
She began to tremble and her lips began to shake. The being turned its gaze towards her and slowly tottering on its feet it instantly leaped towards her.
Harry had turned towards her immediately after the zombie had turned its gaze towards her and he was able to instantly take notice of her slight shaking.
That was when it finally crossed his mind and as the zombie leaped towards her, he jumped in and pushed her to the side, the zombie latched onto him and they both went tumbling straight down the hill.
Harry had managed to push away the zombie before they both went tumbling down the hill and as soon as he got to the bottom of the hill he rolled up from the ground and gripped his sword tightly.
He heard a grunt and looked to his right to see the strange being slowly staggering towards him, it leaped towards him, and just as it was about to land on him, he sliced off its hand while quickly moving to the side.
Now behind the zombie, it quickly turned around with a swipe and he barely dodged the attack.
Due to the unexpected attack, he was off balance after dodging the attack and the zombie leaped towards him at that moment.
He fell on his back and held out and as soon as the zombie was about to land on him, he rolled to the side and quickly stood up to see the being impaled with his sword and lying on the ground.
He heaved a sigh but his relief was only for a while as the zombie slowly began to get up from the ground.
Left with nothing to defend himself he slowly began to back away and that was when a white bright silver blue circle appeared beneath the zombie and a pillar of ice emerged, freezing it in place. It instantly shattered along with what was trapped inside it.
" An ice mage? But when?"
She had staggered after the push and as soon as she regained her balance she tried to chase after them but then two skeletons emerged from inside the building and after a good look around, they went after the source of life closest to them.
Balls of water emerged emerged and began to levitate atop her palms once again and they turned into water blades before she launched them at the two skeletons standing in front of her.
The water blades did next to nothing and the skeletons kept heading towards her. She didn't know what else to do and simply kept on launching the attacks at the human skeletons.
She kept on backing away with each launch of a waterblade and didn't realize when she came to the end of the hill.
She lost hold of her footing and went tumbling down the cliff. The fall left her in pain and with her eyes still closed she felt someone grab a hold of her.
She slowly opened her eyes and saw Harry kneeling in front of her, he gazed right at her and asked, "Are you alright?"
" I'm fine, but there are two undead right atop this hill." She said, getting up on her feet.
" If she's not hurt then I would recommend that you kids get out of here as soon as possible, there have been reports recently of undead appearing here." A man dressed in plate armor said, approaching the both of them.
" A friend of my mother's is up there, I can't just leave knowing fully well that she's in trouble." She objected, groaning slightly.
" You take care of them Elisha, I'll go see if I can save her mother's friend." He said, taking a step backward.
A woman with bright yellow hair and bright blue eyes stepped forward, she was wearing brown boots and a silver blue dress that reached her knees along with a pair of brown strides.
" She doesn't have any armor or weapons on her which means that she's possibly a mage, but why is she here." He thought, helping her along.
They, along with the mage went a certain distance away from the hill and past the knight, they then turned around to watch him approach the house on the hilltop.
As soon as they turned to face him, a black hole appeared right beneath his feet and their eyes and mouth were left wide open as they watched huge hands emerge from the hole and grab hold of the man's legs.
The swirling hole slowly began to expand and two huge red hands emerged from it, its head came into view and it was four times the size of an average human body.
They slowly backed away as they watched the mysterious creature unfold before them and it wasn't long before it came fully into view.
It had glowing red eyes and hardened red skin, and standing roughly twenty-five feet tall, it gazed lifelessly into the distance and let out a loud roar, forcing the three of them to close their ears in distress.
A bright silver blue circle appeared beneath one of its feet and an ice emerged from it and enveloped its feet but with only a slight struggle the ice shattered and it continued to strive forward, each step shaking up the trees by the side.
" Perhaps this is where we take to our heels." The mage said, turning towards the both of them.
