Laying on the couch I recounted what happened in the dungeon to Alistair who nodded "You could've done better,"
I nodded "I agree,"
"But you did good nevertheless," Alistair complemented "But I have a question, why haven't you asked Elena for a flow technique,"
"I-" I tried to give a reason but I couldn't.
'Why hadn't I?'
Isn't it logical? Technically I am her son, which by the way is still weird for me to say, but she is also my benefactor. If I need to get stronger shouldn't ask for things? I mean I'm also a PEN student, it's technically the White Lotus guild's job to give me crap.
So why hadn't I?
Well, I already knew that answer.
Even though I thought I could ignore that feeling it was still there controlling me, controlling my every move.

"Ugh I don't know," I said while leaning back "Maybe I should,"
I closed my eyes and then I let out a sigh "Ah whatever,"
I still needed to figure out how to reverse flow worked so it could help recover my mana but I still even had a grasp on it.
"Want me to teach you my flow technique?"
"Nah, your flow technique probably won't suit me,"
A flow technique can be like a technique. Depending on the user a different technique would suit them. It is the same with flow.
There are different flow techniques. Some for long range others for close range.
I needed a flow technique that would work for me.
Isaac got his own flow technique from a basic version which was mainly due to his technique.
'Guess I can't be in a rush'
First I should create my own flow technique that would limit my mana usage then try to figure out how to use reverse flow. However, the problem lay in that I didn't know exactly what the best flow technique was for me but I had to figure it out before the entrance exam and "The Hunt".

As Elena went through the papers on her desk she heard a knock on her door "Come in,"
"Miss you have a visitor," Elena looked up to see Amanda and beside her was a woman wearing sunglasses. Her blonde hair cascaded down her back and she had a carefree aura around her.
Elena let out a sigh when she saw her "Would it kill you to call me? I'm pretty busy nowadays"
A chuckle escaped the woman's mouth as she walked in and sat on a couch "You know me El, I don't really do that crap,"
"You haven't changed," Elena smiled "Now why are you here?"
Smiling the blonde woman took off her glasses "I heard that you took in a disciple,"
"Who told you that?" Elena asked in surprise
"My disciple, apparently they met at the mall," a grin appeared on her face "but judging by your reaction it seems like it is true,"
Getting up from the couch she quickly tried to exit the room "Where are you going?"
"Going to see that new disciple of yours," waving she quickly exited the room.
Holding her face in her hand Elena sighed "Amanda make sure she doesn't do anything stupid,"
"Yes ma'am"
Following her Amanda let out a sigh.
Serena Sinclair.
She was the leader of the Crimson Dawn guild and was also one of the elite 10. Her most famous feat was clearing an A-rank dungeon break on her own. In that dungeon break was a dragon and she was able to kill by herself giving her the title "Dragon Slayer".
Despite this, however, she was only ranked 8th on a global scale.
However, even with that strength, it was said she was getting stronger.
So it didn't take people too long to make articles about the next strongest hero.
As they continued to walk Amanda noticed some stars which weren't really a surprise.
'Should I tell her that he isn't here?'
The main reason why she didn't tell her was because Arthur said he was doing something important and she didn't want to disturb him. Besides, if she did then Serena would pester her which was something she didn't want.
Serena approached someone "Hm, you're not him," she then approached someone else "Not you,"
Looking at this Amanda's face remained deadpanned

"Phew" Letting out a breath I leaned back and opened my status window.

"Not bad," I muttered
"Alright let's spar," I looked up to see Alistair in his human form. Grabbing the wooden sword that was beside me I closed my eyes before I moved the mana in my body in a certain pattern.
This was just the basic version of a flow technique that most rich people get. I asked Elena for it and modified it to better suit me however, the basic version in itself suited me just fine. But I was going to keep using the basic version until I grasped how to use reverse flow.
Charging toward Alistair I swung my sword at him but didn't use my technique. However, lightning did crackle around me to enhance my reaction speed and overall abilities. But despite that, Alistair kept blocking or parrying my attacks with his bare hands.
However, suddenly he turned into a cat causing me to be confused but I then felt it.
2 people had entered my house but sensing the large quantity of magic I at first thought it was Elena however, the person that came down into the basement was not Elena.
Blonde hair, blue eyes and a large magical aura.
I knew who this was all too well.
After all, she was one of the characters I created that was somewhat relevant to Isaac.
Serena Sinclair.
She was the mentor of Isaac and was one of the few heroes who probably stood a chance against the demon king.
However, despite that she was killed by the demon king as well.
'Now that I think about it most of the powerhouses were killed by the demon king'
But I was quickly dragged out of my thoughts when Serena around to touch my body. Activating my technique I quickly grabbed my shirt.
"I apologize if this sounds rude but, what the hell are you doing here!?"
But it seems I was ignored as she was playing with the barrier I had made causing my brow to twitch.
I then saw Amanda enter with an apologetic expression. Instantly figuring out the reason I let out a sigh and looked at Serena who was experimenting with the barrier.
"Haha nice! What technique do you have?"
I stared at her blankly causing Amanda to pull her back.
"Hey wait do you wanna spar with my disciple!?"
Hearing that I shook my head "I apologize but I want to prepare for the entrance exam" I replied quickly
Spar with Isaac?

I like this life thank you very much.
If we were to spar there was no way for me to win. Firstly Isaac had way more experience than me and that's also not to mention his overpowered technique which he has a good grasp of. However, even with that, he had obtained the academy rank of 5.
Watching Serena get dragged away a certain idea came to mind "Maybe I should start sparing with other youths my age"
