"And I'm not finished just yet. I activate the Spell card; Stamping Destruction!" Cera called out as she took the last card in her hand and held it out, before slotting it into her Duel Disk. Stamping Destruction's card appeared besides her, before it began glowing with Solda turning its gaze towards Lyrilusc - Power or Peace's card. The Dragon-Type Xyz Monster then stomped on it, destroying the card and creating a shockwave that hit Lulu head on, forcing her to take a step back.
Lulu Life Points: 1800 - 500 = 1300.
"If I have a Dragon-Type Monster on my field; Stamping Destruction can destroy a Spell or Trap and deal 500 points of damage to the controller of that card". Cera explained the Spell card's effect with a sly look, while Lulu looked at the Evo Duelist with narrowed eyes. "I'll end my turn here. You're up, tomato boy". The female student of the Leo Institute told the Pendulum user, shifting her gaze over towards him.
Yuya Life Points: 1450/ Number of cards in hand: 1.
"I've got this! I draw!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist exclaimed, drawing the top card of his deck in a dramatic fashion. He took a moment to look at the new card in his hand, before adding the card to his hand. He then looked at his Duel Disk's screen that showed the fields of all four duelists, before he gently pressed on his face-down card. The screen displayed the card as it flipped over to show that it was Performapal Signal.
'If only Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier wasn't on the field; I could use Performapal Signal. But so long as that thing remains on the field, that's a no go'. The Odd-Eyes Duelist thought to himself, before turning his face forward.
He first looked towards Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier, and then at Evolzar Solda. 'Both monsters are a concern, but Solda's the bigger one as it has 3100 ATK Points. Still, I can take them both out in one move, but just to be safe, I'll set another defensive measure'. Yuya thought to himself, before adding the new card to his hand and took hold of the other one.
"I'll set a card face-down". The Odd-Eyes Duelist said as a face-down card appeared on his field. "Then I'll activate Odd-Eyes Inheritance's effect once more!" He declared, throwing his right hand out as Odd-Eyes Inheritance's card began glowing once more.
Odd-Eyes Dragon's card slotted out of the custom made Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone. Yuya took hold of the card and held it out forward. "By banishing Odd-Eyes Dragon from my Graveyard; Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon gains 1000 ATK Points!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist explained the Spell card's effect, pocketing Odd-Eyes Dragon's card as a white beam shot out of Odd-Eyes Inheritance's card and struck Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, yet did no harm and powered it up.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon ATK: 2500 + 1000 = 3500.
"Showtime! Odd-Eyes, attack Evolzar Solda!" Yuya commanded his ace, grabbing hold of the Pendulum Monster's horns once more. Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon cried out in response, before it began charging forward towards Solda. "I don't think so! Go; Zero Gravity!" Cera called out, throwing her right hand out as her face-down card lifted itself up.
"With this Trap card, all face-up monsters on the field have their battle positions changed!" The braided hair style female explained her Trap card's effect as the card began to glow. Suddenly, the gravity around Odd-Eyes, Skullcrobat Joker and Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier changed and caused them all to change into defensive stances with the Dragon-Type Pendulum Monster cease its running.

Yuya gave a grunt with narrowed eyes. "Crap... At least my monsters are in DEF Position, so there's that. I'll end my turn here". The Odd-Eyes Duelist declared, having no other move left to make.
Sylvio Life Points: 400/ Number of cards in hand: 0.
Sylvio silently drew the top card of his deck and brought it up to see what it was. He then held it out forward. "I activate the Spell card; Card of Burial Magic!" The Ritual Duelist called out with the card releasing a bright shine. Then, the cards of Earth Seal, Damage Banish and Twin Twisters slotted out of the Graveyard Zone of his Duel Disk, which Sylvio picked up and put them away in his jacket's pockets.
"By banishing 3 Spells from my Graveyard, I can draw 2 new cards". He explained the Spell card's effect, before proceeding to draw 2 more cards from his deck and held them up.
Sylvio let out a confident chuckle at what the cards were, before transferring them to his left hand and picked up one of them. "I activate the Spell card; Burial from a Different Dimension!" The brown-haired male called out with a grin, flipping the card over and then slotted it into the Duel Disk. A large copy of the Spell card; Burial from a Different Dimension appeared besides Sylvio, and then began to release a bright light.
"With this handy card, I can select up to 3 removed from play monsters and return them to their owner's Graveyard". The Ritual Duelist explained the Spell card's effect, placing his right hand into his jacket's pocket. He then brought it out and held out three cards.
The three cards that he was holding were Gaia the Fierce Knight Origin, Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight. "I select these three guys and return them to my Graveyard". Sylvio informed his opponents, before sending the three monsters to the Graveyard Zone of his Duel Disk. 'Not good. With Gaia the Fierce Knight Origin in his Graveyard, all he has to do is remove it from play to restore Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier's ATK Points to normal'. Lulu thought to herself, seeing that Sylvio's move just turned the tables around on them.
"I activate Gaia the Fierce Knight Origin's special ability from my Graveyard! By banishing this card from the Graveyard..." Sylvio began to explain as Gaia the Fierce Knight Origin's card slotted out of his Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone, before he took the card and pocketed it away.
"I can select a monster that's ATK Points are different to its original and return them to normal". The Ritual Duelist finished explaining, and then pointed his right hand towards Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier. "Now Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier, regain your power!" The brown-haired male cried out, swiping his right hand into the air. A white aura appeared around The Legendary Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier, restoring his powers completely.

"Aww, crap. That's not good. Well, at least I can do this! Activate the Trap card; Infinite Impermanence!" Yuya called out, thrusting his right hand out as a face-down card appeared in front of Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. It lifted itself up and began to gleam brightly right at The Legendary Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier, forcing the Ritual Monster to shield its face with its shield. "Thanks to this Trap card, your monster's effect is negated for the rest of this turn". The Odd-Eyes Duelist explained the Trap card's effect as a white aura appeared over the Ritual Monster.
Sylvio snapped his right hand's fingers, before Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight's cards slotted out of his Duel Disk. "I remove Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight from my Graveyard..." The brown-haired male began, taking the two cards and putting them away in his jacket's pocket. "In order to Special Summon this! Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning!" Sylvio finished, swiping his right hand out with the last card in hand. Two black portals appeared, before both Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight appeared in front of the two portals.
The two monsters were then absorbed into the portals, before they both came together and created a bright flash of light. It quickly cleared to reveal the Monster; Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning with it having a dark glare directed at Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.

Yuya and Lulu stared at the new monster with slightly wide eyes, before Lulu turned her head and ran off in search for an Action card. "Get ready to lose! First, I switch Solda back into ATK mode!" Sylvio began as Solda spread its wings out fully.
Evolzar Solda ATK: 3100.
"Then I'll have Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier, attack Performapal Skullcrobat Joker!" The brown-haired male commanded the Ritual Monster, throwing his right hand out to the side. Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier brought up his weapon, before charging forward towards Skullcrobat Joker and swung its blade down on the Spellcaster-Type Monster, causing Skullcrobat Joker to cry out in pain, and then exploded.
Yuya grit his teeth slightly at his monster's destruction, but kept silent. "Now! Evolzar Solda attacks Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Sylvio commanded, turning to look at his partner's monster. Solda gave out a fierce cry, before charging forward towards Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. Yuya leaped into the air backwards, right before the Dragon-Type Xyz Monster slashed Odd-Eyes with its claws, causing the Pendulum Monster to explode. Yuya landed on his feet, a deep frown married to his face at his ace monster's destruction like that, but kept his composure.
The Odd-Eyes Duelist looked up towards Sylvio, where he saw the confident smirk on the brown-haired male's face. Assuming that he was gonna attack him, Yuya prepared himself for the attack. However, Sylvio then shifted his gaze towards the running form of Lulu with her shadowy cage monster following her. "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, attack that face-down monster!" Sylvio commanded as he pointed his right hand's index finger out, causing Yuya to widen his eyes in surprise. 'What!?' The Odd-Eyes Duelist shouted out inside of his mind, honestly not expecting this move.
Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning charged forward towards the shadowy cased monster, which it turned around to face the Warrior-Type Monster. The creature disappeared and was replaced by a face-down card in sideways position. It then flipped over to reveal that it was Lyrilusc - Cobalt Sparrow's card, before the Winged Beast monster emerged from the card with her wings folded together in a shield.

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning began thrusting his sword out at lightning-fast speeds, repeatedly stabbing Cobalt Sparrow until she exploded. The explosion forced Lulu to stop running and use her right forearm to shield her eyes from the shockwaves. It soon died down, allowing Lulu to lower her arm to see Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning return to Sylvio's side alongside Swordmaster Black Luster Soldier.
"At this moment, I activate Envoy of the Beginning's special ability! If this card destroyed an opponent's monster as a result of battle, it can attack again!" Sylvio explained his monster's special ability with a grin, causing Yuya to widen his eyes in shock and realization.
'That's why he didn't attack me with Envoy of the Beginning! It was so that he could destroy Lulu's last line of defense and attack one of us directly!' The Odd-Eyes Duelist shouted out inside of his mind. "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, attack that purple haired girl directly!" Sylvio commanded with a smug laugh, swiping his right hand out to the side. Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning cried out as it leaped into the air and began diving down towards the Mistress of Birds, who stood her ground and stared up at the approaching attack.
'Darn it, no better time!' Yuya shouted out inside of his mind, eyes dangerously narrowed, and teeth gritted hard. "I play my Trap card; Performapal Signal!" The tomato hair style male called out, swiping his right hand out to the side as his face-down card appeared, before lifting itself up. "This Trap lets me draw a card, and then discard it. If it's a monster, your attack is negated!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist explained the Trap card's effect as he placed his right hand on the top card of his deck, catching Sylvio's attention as he looked over towards the Dueltainer.
Yuya stared down at the top card of his deck for a moment or two, before he drew it in a dramatic fashion by swiping his right hand out to the side. The Odd-Eyes Duelist looked through the corner of his right eye towards the card. Time seemed to go slow as he turned the card over, revealing it to be...
Star-Eyes Synchron!
Yuya grew a massive smile upon seeing his famed Pendulum Tuner Monster. He thrust his right hand out to show the card. "The card I drew was the Pendulum Tuner Monster; Star-Eyes Synchron! And since it is a monster, your attack is negated!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist stated, before discarding the card to his Duel Disk's Graveyard Zone. A barrier then formed around Lulu, right before Envoy of the Beginning swung its blade down and struck it. The Warrior-Type Monster's attack created a powerful shock wave, but was unable to break through. Envoy of the Beginning was soon pushed back, before the barrier around Lulu disappeared.
"Are you kidding me!?" Sylvio shouted out in annoyance, while Lulu gave Yuya a thankful look. "Okay, this is just getting ridiculous that it's not even funny. Next turn, you two are going down! I end my turn!" The brown-haired male exclaimed with a deep frown on his face.

(Meanwhile at Leo Corporation monitor room)
Through the entire tag duel, Declan and Claude have watched it take place. Declan was honestly impressed with all four Duelists, especially with Yuya and Lulu's teamwork. Sylvio's Ritual skills impressed him as well. Declan couldn't help, but remember what possessed LID to create a Ritual Summoning course in the first place. Yusei Fudo's one-sided victory over the Sledgehammer had many impacts on Paradise City. All the Duelists began to work harder than before to get better and improve, in the hopes of challenging and defeating Yusei one day.
Declan had decided to create a Ritual Summoning course for the Leo Institute. It may not have been as rare, or powerful as Fusion, Synchro or Xyz, but it was powerful in its own way and one of the oldest Summoning methods in Duel Monsters. A lot of students had joined the Ritual course with Sylvio being one of them. Thanks to his father's position, Sylvio was able to obtain Black Luster Soldier and Gaia cards to form the deck that he was using. The deck Sylvio used had potential to use more than just Ritual Summoning, but he seemed content of just using one Summoning method. That's what lead to Sylvio being the Duelist he is now.
Declan's eyes then shifted over to Cera's image of the screen. She was the daughter of a high-ranking captain of the military and had undergone some training from him. She was an honest and straight forward person that didn't allow any foul play of any sort. She had joined the Leo Institute a year ago, but only began learning Xyz Summoning 2 months ago.
After seeing Yusei's duel, Cera had become motivated extremely and that enabled her to master the Evo Deck. She was tied with Dipper O'rion for the Xyz course's best Xyz user. Still, she had room to grow, and Declan honestly looked forward to seeing her growth.
The silver-haired youth then turned his attention to Yuya's image. He had learned much of Pendulum Summoning in this duel, and the data that he needed. He learned that Pendulum cards are treated as Spell cards, go to the Extra Deck when destroyed on the field and that the Pendulum Monsters can use their effects even when one of them is set.
Although he had wished to see Yuya's Synchro and Xyz Summoning, this had still given Declan a glimpse of the Dueltainer's skills as a Duelist. Not to mention Yuya's feelings for Lulu, which was honestly a bit surprising to Declan. True, he expected to see Yuya have a form of friendship with the Xyz Dimension resident, but was not expecting to see signs of affection. Still, it wasn't something to worry about for the moment.
Finally, he looked towards Lulu's image on the screen. This duel has allowed him to witness her skills and what sort of decks she uses. He was impressed greatly with the Lyrilusc cards that she used as it reminded him a little of Yusei's cards on how they both use low Level monsters and unlock their full potential. Her Synchro Summoning was surprising, not to mention the Xyz Summoning from the Graveyard.
He was even able to see the reflexes of one that's been through war on her. Though, he didn't understand why she had a Fusion Dimension Duel Disk on her, hopefully it didn't mean she was an agent of Duel Academy. He had no doubt that she far surpassed all the Xyz students that the Leo Institute had when it came to Xyz Summoning after watching her duel.
Now with the circumstances, Declan would be able to see how Lulu duels when backed into a corner such as this. He couldn't help himself from growing the eager smile on his face. 'Now, let us see the survival instincts of a resident of the Xyz Dimension'. The president of the Leo Corporation thought to himself eagerly, but remained silent as the grave.

Lulu lightly grit her teeth at the situation she was facing. Facing 3 monsters with over 3000 ATK Points with nothing on hers or Yuya's field would be challenging. It honestly felt a bit like when she was fighting against Duel Academy back in the Xyz Dimension.
There may not be any danger of being sealed into a card in this duel, but hers and Yuya's cards were at risk instead. Their cards were important to them, and Lulu had no intention of allowing anyone to take them, especially her favorite monster. The Mistress of Birds brought up her right hand to place it on her deck, only for it to suddenly stop.
Lulu looked at her right hand and lightly gasp upon seeing it shaking in fear. 'I'm...afraid...of losing?' The Mistress of Birds thought to herself, recognizing the fear that she was experiencing yet again. Despite her peaceful time here in Paradise City, Lulu still had her fear of losing that she experienced when Yuri defeated her. She has been working hard to remove her fear, yet it was proving to be one of Lulu's most challenging obstacles.
Lulu lowered her head in shame that she was allowing her fear to show itself at a time like this. Yuya turned to look at his tag partner, before his gaze fell upon seeing Lulu's expression of shame and her shaking hand. 'Oh no, not now. Lulu's fear has started acting up again. I gotta calm her down'. The Odd-Eyes Duelist thought to himself, bringing his Duel Disk up and proceeded to press a few sections on it.
Just then, a single screen appeared on the Duel Disk's one that showed Lulu as she grew a surprised expression at the sudden call. Yuya looked back towards the Mistress of Birds and saw Lulu staring at him with wide eyes of surprise. He pointed down towards his Duel Disk with the right hand, giving Lulu an unspoken message to focus on their connection.
Lulu looked slightly confused, but gave a nod as she looked down at her Duel Disk's screen to the single section showing Yuya's face. "Lulu, calm down okay. Just take deep breaths and breath in and out". The Odd-Eyes Duelist told the purple haired female, his voice soft to help ease her nerves. The Mistress of Birds began breathing slow and steady, just as Yuya told her.
However, she still felt herself controlled by her fear despite her efforts. "Yuya...They have the advantage of numbers and attack power. They both have monsters with over 2500 ATK Points, while we don't have anything on ours. I don't have anything in my hand that can protect you or I from their next attack". Lulu said with a low voice as she looked at the two cards in her hand. All she had was Lyrilusc - Stardust Lyrebird and Lyrilusc - Bird Song, cards that couldn't really help at a time like this.
Yuya grit his teeth at what Lulu said, but agreed with her as Sylvio and Cera had powerful monsters on their field while they don't. He looked up towards Odd-Eyes Pendulum Arc Dragon and stared at it for a few moments. Odd-Eyes Pendulum Arc Dragon's Pendulum ability allowed him to summon a new Odd-Eyes Monster when one under his control was destroyed by battle or card effect.
The only problem was that he was out of Odd-Eyes cards. He had swapped out Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon to test out Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon earlier today, and he only had 5, counting Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn. The other Odd-Eyes are either in his Extra Deck or removed from play, so they couldn't be used for Arc Pendulum's effect.
The Odd-Eyes Duelist then eased his gaze and gave the Mistress of Birds a comforting smile. "I know that the odds aren't exactly in our favor Lulu, but we have a secret weapon on our side". Yuya told his tag partner, immediately catching Lulu's full attention at what he said. "Huh? What are you talking about? What secret weapon?" The Mistress of Birds questioned in confusion, having no idea what Yuya was talking about.
The Odd-Eyes Duelist just grinned in response, before he answered. "We believe in Duel Monsters and our cards with all of our hearts. And when you believe, you always have a chance". The teenage boy told the purple haired female with conviction in his words, as if he was completely certain of himself.

Lulu widened her eyes completely at what Yuya said as those words shook her very core. Even the fear gripping her heart had disappeared completely as well. She grew a gentle smile on her face as she looked at her deck.
'That's right. If I lose faith in my deck, then I have truly lost. But so long as I still believe in my cards, then there's still hope for a comeback. My cards...I'm sorry I lost faith in you. I swear with all my heart not to let it happen. I still have my problems to sort out, but so long as I still believe, we'll overcome anything. That's why... let's start by winning this Duel'. The Mistress of Birds thought to herself, tilting her head back up to face her opponents with eyes burning with determination. Yuya immediately noticed Lulu free of her fear and ready to battle, something that made him grow a satisfied smile.
Unknown to the two was that Yuya's pendant and Lulu's bracelet were releasing small lights of their own colour. The pendant was glowing light blue, while the bracelet's light was an orange one. "Here goes! I draw!" Lulu cried out, placing her right hand on the top card of her deck, drew it and held the card up to the sky. "I play the Spell card; Magical Mallet!" The purple haired teenage girl exclaimed as she brought her hand down to hold the card out.
Magical Mallet's card began glowing, before Lulu took it and the two cards in her left hand into the right one. "Magical Mallet allows me to return it and any number of cards in my hand to the deck, shuffle and then draw the same amount!" The Winged Beast Duelist explained the Spell card's effect, and then slotted the 3 cards into her Duel Disk. The deck then began shuffling once more, until it eventually stopped.
'These 3 cards will determine the outcome of this Duel. My cards, please answer my plea'. Lulu said in her mind as she gently laid her right hand on her deck. Just then, the orange light that Lulu's bracelet was generating intensified a bit, it even caught the attention of the Mistress of Birds as she looked down at her treasured item she's had since she was a child.
'My...bracelet?' Lulu questioned inside of her mind as she had no idea what was happening. Then, her deck began to release a small orange glow, causing Lulu to look at her cards as well. Just as quickly as the glow came, both the deck and bracelet ceased glowing without warning. The purple-haired teenager slightly tilted her head in confusion, but decided not to pay it any mind and focus on the duel at hand. "Since I returned 3 cards, I get to add 3 new ones!" The Mistress of Birds stated, and then drew the top 3 cards of her deck in a dramatic fashion by swiping her right hand out to the side.
Lulu then brought the 3 cards in front in order to see what they were, only to gasp upon seeing something unexpected. One of the cards was a familiar card of hers called "Lyrilusc - Bird Sanctuary", but the other two were different cases. One of them was another Spell, an Equip Spell, but it was one that Lulu has never seen before, much less in her deck.
It was called "Wonders of Nature".
Its image showed the bracelets of hers, Rin's and Zuzu's, not to mention the last one, all on the wrists of four hands hi-fiving each other in the card's image. But the last card was really shocking to Lulu the most. It was a Monster card that she's had for sometime called "Lyrilusc - Majestic Falcon", but it had undergone a transformation. It was now a Pendulum card. The card's image showed a little 5-year-old girl with peach skin and violet coloured eyes, wearing a pink falcon themed outfit with a falcon's beak attached to the headset. She also had yellow talons with black claws and long pink hair that was the exact same colour as cherry blossoms.

'A...Pendulum card? But how is this possible?' Lulu questioned inside of her mind, taking hold of the 3 cards with her left hand. She turned to look at Yuya, unknowingly giving him the chance to see the disbelief on her face. The Odd-Eyes Duelist raised an eyebrow, while Lulu turned to look back at her cards. She then shook her head sideways to rid herself of the questions clouding her mind. 'Now isn't the time to be asking questions. Now is the time to duel!' The Xyz Dimension girl shouted inside of her mind, narrowing her eyes a bit as she took Wonders of Nature's card with her right hand and held it out.
"I activate the Equip Spell; Kahyoreigetsu!" Lulu called out with confidence in her voice, before she slotted it into her Duel Disk. A large copy of the Spell card materialized on her left side, before it began to glowing lightly. Yuya raised at eyebrow at the sight of the card's image. 'What's with that card?' The Odd-Eyes Duelist questioned inside of his mind, having never heard of this "Kahyoreigetsu" card before.
"Kahyoreigetsu allows me to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Fairy, Spellcaster, Winged Beast, or Beast-Warrior monster from my hand, and then equip itself to the monster". The Mistress of Birds explained the Equip Spell card's effect, taking Lyrilusc - Majestic Falcon's card from her hand and held it up. "I chose the Level 1 Pendulum Monster; Lyrilusc - Majestic Falcon!" Lulu declared her choice, and then swiped the card down onto her Duel Disk's blade. Lyrilusc - Majestic Falcon emerged from Wonders of Nature's light and ascended into the sky, before giving out a cute cry.

As expected, everyone watching the Duel and taking part of it widened their eyes as they were stunned at what Lulu said. "A Pendulum Monster!?" Everyone called out in surprise at what the purple haired female called her monster.
"That's right, but there's more! Once the monster is Summoned through Kahyoreigetsu's effect; another part of its effect activates! Now... all Dragon monsters on the field return to the hand!" Lulu further explained her new Equip Spell's effect, causing Cera to widen her eyes as she looked towards Evolzar Solda.
Kahyoreigetsu's card then released a bright rainbow colour light towards Solda, nearly engulfing the Dragon-Type monster in it. The Xyz Monster screeched in pain, before it transformed into a red light that shot out towards Cera's Extra Deck section and entered it, much to the braided hair style female's surprise. "Alright! With Solda gone, her field's wide open!" Yuya remarked with a grin at seeing Solda gone and Cera wide open for an attack. "It's more than just that! Since she was Special Summoned; Majestic Falcon's special ability now activates!" Lulu shouted out, throwing her right hand out to the side.
Majestic Falcon closed her eyes and flew higher into the sky. She then stopped and opened her eyes to reveal them glowing a majestic pink colour. Without warning, Majestic Falcon's whole body then released a bright rainbow light, so bright that it forced Sylvio and Cera to shield their eyes. "If she's Special Summoned; Majestic Falcon allows me to add 2 Level 1 "Lyrilusc" monsters from my deck to the hand!" The purple haired female explained the Pendulum Monster's effect, tilting her head down to look at the deck of cards in her Duel Disk.
The deck glowed a majestic pink colour for a moment, before the glow died down and it began shuffling. After a few seconds, it ceased shuffling and two cards slotted out. Lulu picked them up one at a time with the index and middle fingers of her right hand, before holding them up. They were indeed both Pendulum Monsters, but were different ones than each other.
One of them showed a teenage girl with very light green skin, emerald eyes and long untamed, whit hair. She was wearing a dark purple, peacock themed outfit with brown talons and black claws. Her arms were her feathers and the feathers on the tail, instead of having markings, had choroma rocks attached to them. The other one was a 5-year-old girl with light blue skin and royal blue eyes. She had short, braided blue hair and was wearing a blue kingfisher outfit. The beak of a kingfisher was attached to the headset, while the talons and claws were a black colour. "I select Lyrilusc - Chroma Peacock and Soaring Kingfisher!" Lulu declared her choices, revealing the names of the two Pendulum Monsters.

"I now set the Pendulum Scale with Scale 0 Lyrilusc - Chroma Peacock and Scale 5 Soaring Kingfisher!" The Mistress of Birds called out as she swiped the right hand out to the side. "Time to rev it up!" Lulu added as she brought her hand in and placed the two cards on the left and right end of the blade. The blade of the Duel Disk gleamed a rainbow colour for a moment, before the words "Pendulum" starting materializing on it over Majestic Falcon's card.
Two light blue pillars, just like the ones that Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon and Performapal Drummerilla were in, appeared on Lulu's left and right. Then, Lyrilusc - Chroma Peacock rose up from within the right one, while Soaring Kingfisher floated up in the left pillar. The two then stopped, before the numbers "0" appeared underneath Chroma Peacock and "5" under Soaring Kingfisher.
"With these two Pendulum Monsters in the Pendulum Zone, I can now Pendulum Summon monsters that are Level 1 all the way to 4. But before that, I need to refill my hand a bit. I activate Soaring Kingfisher's Pendulum ability!" The Mistress of Birds called out, throwing her right hand up towards Kingfisher as the Pendulum Monster began glowing a blue colour.
Then, Majestic Falcon began glowing a blue colour as well. "Soaring Kingfisher allows me to select a WIND Attribute monster on the field; then I can add another WIND attribute monster that has the same Level as the selected one to my hand! I select Lyrilusc - Majestic Falcon and since she's Level 1, I can add a Level 1 WIND Attribute monster!" Lulu explained the Monster's Pendulum effect as her deck began shuffling. It then stopped with a single card slotted out. Lulu grabbed hold of the card with her right hand's index and middle fingers.
She held the card up, revealing it to be a Monster card with the card's image showing a 5-year-old girl wearing a pink dove outfit. The little girl had pink eyes, cream skin and a bit of pink hair coming out of her headset. "Say "hello" to my little friend Lyrilusc - Tender Dove!" Lulu revealed the choice of Kingfisher's Pendulum ability, before adding the card to her hand.

"While I'm at it, I think I'll Pendulum Summon Tender Dove!" The purple haired teenager exclaimed as she held up her right hand into the air. Both Chroma Peacock and Soaring Kingfisher cried out as they gleamed with pendulum energy, while the lights of pendulum formed behind them. "I Pendulum Summon! Lyrilusc - Tender Dove!" Lulu cried out to the heavens as a portal appeared between the two Lyrilusc monsters and a single green light shot out of it. The green light then cleared to reveal Lyrilusc - Tender Dove with the Winged Beast monster crying out happily.

Cera widened her eyes in panic at the sight of the Winged Beast-Type monster. She then took off running in search of an Action card, while Sylvio scoffed at the sight. "Really? Pendulum Summoning only one monster with only 400 ATK Points. You might be able to take out Cera with that, but that's no match for my monsters. And when my turn comes, I'll finish you both". The brown-haired male said with a rather comical evil chuckle. "Think again! I'm taking both of you out in one move! I activate Tender Dove's special ability!" Lulu declared, throwing her right hand out forward.
Tender Dove gave out a happy cry as she spun around and kicked up strong gusts of wind around herself. "When this card is Pendulum Summoned, I can select a monster in either player's Graveyard and Special Summon it in DEF Position, and it is treated as a Winged Beast monster!" Lulu explained her Pendulum Monster's effect, causing Sylvio to widen his eyes as he was stunned at what he heard.
"Any monster?" The brown-haired male questioned, which Lulu nodded with a growing grin. "That's right, but don't worry about me taking any of your cards". The purple haired female answered the male student of LID, before she held up her Duel Disk as Lyrilusc - Cobalt Sparrow's card slotted out. "Welcome back, Lyrilusc - Cobalt Sparrow!" Lulu exclaimed as she took the card, before slamming it down on the Duel Disk's blade. Cobalt Sparrow's card appeared on the field, before it began gleaming and Cobalt Sparrow rose up from within it.

"Why would you use a nice effect like that to bring back that little annoying bird?" Sylvio questioned Lulu on her choice, which she gave a grin in response. "Because now; I have 3 Level 1 monsters". The purple haired female answered the Ritual Duelist. Sylvio gasped in surprise upon realizing she was right as Lulu now had 3 Level 1 monsters. Lulu brought up her right hand and held it into the air. "I overlay Level 1 Lyrilusc - Majestic Falcon, Tender Dove and Cobalt Sparrow!" Lulu declared with conviction inside of her voice as all 3 Winged Beast monsters transformed into bright green lights.
The 3 lights then ascended into the air and dance around one another. Then, a black and gold Xyz portal appeared on the ground in front of Lulu, kicking up a gust of wind that blew her hair and skirt in the breeze.
"With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network!" The Mistress of Birds added as the three greens lights descended into the Xyz portal, causing an explosion of energy from within. "I Xyz Summon! Rank 1! Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale!" Lulu cried out to the heavens as her ace monster; Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale emerged from the explosion of energy. The Xyz Monster had her smile present as she flew into the air with 3 green overlay units circling around her.

Cera was running down the volcanic mountain in search for an Action card, but she had turned her head to look towards Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale. Yuya, Allie, Tate and Frederick all smiled at the sight of Lulu's ace Xyz Monster as it meant that she was now giving it her all. Sylvio, on the other hand, didn't look so impressed. "I'm starting to question your sense of intellect. All your monsters are low Level weaklings with no ATK Points whatsoever". The Ritual Duelist said with a wave of his left hand. Sylvio's words made Lulu narrow her eyes at him in anger.
"An important rule of Duel Monsters; ATK Points aren't everything. Let me show you!" Lulu told Sylvio as she brought her right hand up, before swiping it out forward with her hair swaying from the motion. "Assembled Nightingale's ability! She gains 100 ATK Points for every Overlay Unit she has! Since she has 3, that's 300 points for her!" The purple haired teen explained her Xyz Monster's special ability as Nightingale powered up.

"I'm still not impressed with that". Sylvio stated, yet Lulu gave a grin at him. "My Nightingale can attack directly and up to the number of Overlay Units she has. Since she has 3, she can attack you guys directly 3 times". The Mistress of Birds informed the brown-haired male, causing Sylvio to cry out in alarm. "So what!? Then that means you can attack both of us and win in one turn!" The brown-haired male cried out in pure panic, waving his hands around in comical panic.
"She would...If it wasn't for this!" A familiar voice cried out, catching the attention of Lulu, Yuya and Sylvio as they looked over to see that Cera had stopped running and was now holding an Action card with her right hand.
"I activate the Action Spell; Zero Penalty!" The braided hair style female called out, and then she slotted the card into her Duel Disk. Zero Penalty's card materialized besides her, before a white beam shot out and struck Assembled Nightingale in the chest. The Winged Beast-Type Xyz Monster gasped in pain as Lulu looked at her ace monster in slight concern. "Zero Penalty returns the ATK Points of an opponent's monster to 0!" Cera explained the Action Spell card's effect as Nightingale powered down.

"Ahahaha! Now your birdy is useless! Even if it does attack, it can't deal any damage anymore!" Sylvio laughed out in delight, resting both hands on his lips. "That may be true, but my move isn't finished yet". Lulu told the brown-haired male, before she picked up the single card in her left hand and held it up. "I activate the Continuous Spell card; Lyrilusc- Bird Sanctuary!" The Mistress of Birds called out, and then swiped the card into her Duel Disk. A copy of Lyrilusc - Bird Sanctuary's card then appeared besides Lulu, before she held her right hand out in front of it.
"This card has 2 effects, but I'll only be using one of them. If I control an Xyz Monster with 3 or more Overlay Units; I can draw 1 card". The purple haired female explained the Continuous Spell card's effect, before bringing in her right hand and placed it on the top card of her deck. 'Lulu's betting on her deck to get a card that'll turn the tables around'. Yuya thought to himself, seeing what the purple haired female was attempting to do. Lulu then drew the card by swiping her right hand out to the side with it in between the index and middle fingers of her hand.
The purple haired girl then slowly turned the card over and saw what it was. Lulu gave a small, happy laugh at seeing the card. It was a Spell card, but not just any card. It was her Rank-Up Spell card; Rank-Up-Magic - Lyrilusc Sky Force. The Spell card's image showed the ancient symbol of Sky in an emerald, green colour.
(Rank-Up-Magic - Lyrilusc Sky Force/ Type: Spell/ Effect: Target one "Lyriluse" Xyz Monster you control, Xyz Summon one "Lyrilusc" Monster that is either one Rank or two Ranks higher than that monster you control, by using it as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to it also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) The Xyz Monster that was Xyz Summoned by this card gains 200 ATK times its Rank.)
Lulu's face then fell slight upon remembering an important detail. The Standard Dimension had now knowledge about Rank-Up Spell cards, or Rank-Up Xyz Evolutions. She hasn't been put into a situation that forced her to use Sky Force, but this situation called for it. Still, Lulu would have rather avoid revealing one of her home's advance Xyz techniques, but there was no avoiding it.
The Mistress of Birds took a deep sigh, before rearing her right-hand in. "I activate the Spell card..." Lulu began, before thrusting her hand out to reveal Lyrilusc Sky Force's card. "Rank-Up-Magic - Lyrilusc Sky Force!" She finished, and then slotted the card into her Duel Disk. A large copy of Sky Force's card appeared in front of the Mistress of Birds. What Lulu said caught everyone's attention as they all looked at her in shock, or surprise.
"Rank-Up!?" Cera questioned with wide eyes as she has heard nothing of this before. "Sky Force has the power to take a Lyrilusc Xyz Monster I control and causes it to Rank Up into a new Lyrilusc Xyz Monster that's 1 or 2 Ranks higher!" Lulu explained the Rank-Up-Magic's power without a shred of doubt, further increasing the disbelief of everyone watching.
Lulu then thrusts her right hand into the air. "With the Rank 1 Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale, I rebuild the Overlay Network!" The Mistress of Birds called out as Assembled Nightingale transformed into a bright green light that shot out into the sky above. "As the new dawn breaks spread your wings upon its light and let its power crescendo into an orchestral symphony! Go, Rank-Up Xyz Evolution!" Lulu chanted as a black and gold galaxy Xyz portal appeared on the ground in front of her with the green light descending into it, causing an explosion of green energy. A bright light erupted out of the Fusion Dimension's Extra Deck zone, before it opened, and a single card slotted out.
The purple haired took hold of the card, before swiping it onto her Duel Disk's blade. "Ascend! Rank 2! Lyrilusc - Neo Nightingale!" The Mistress of Birds shouted out to the heavens as something shot out of the explosion of energy and flew high into the air. It was Assembled Nightingale, but she had undergone a transformation. First, her outfit had undergone a colour change as it was now a raven black colour, only exceptions were light blue lines all over its body and outfit, yet her skin colour remained the same. Nightingale's blond hair was longer now as well, reaching her back now. The biggest changes were her hands as instead of being wings, they were now avian female hands. There was a split line underneath the sleeves of her outfit, where rainbow coloured wings erupting from underneath her arms. Neo Nightingale spun around, before giving a pose with 4 green overlay units circling around her.

Everyone stared at Neo Nightingale with mixed expressions, most of all being shock and awe as they've never seen anything like this before. Neo Nightingale flew down to besides Lulu with the two partners staring across towards Sylvio and his two monsters.
(Meanwhile at Leo Corporation monitor room)
Just like the others in the Duel field; Declan and Claude were both stunned at seeing Lulu Rank-UP Assembled Nightingale to Neo Nightingale. The right-hand man of the president of Leo Corporation was gaping like a fish as he stared at the screen, while Declan changed his stunned expression into a fascinated one. What he was seeing was proof that Lulu Obsidian really was from the Xyz Dimension as only someone from there could use an advance form of Xyz Summoning like this, while Duelists from the Standard Dimension could only use the normal Xyz Summoning.
'Rank-Up Evolution...? Fascinating, truly it is. I expected many things from the Xyz Dimension, but this is unlike anything I could have imagined. Not only that, somehow Lulu Obsidian was able to acquire Pendulum cards and Pendulum Summon without flaw. Incredible...truly incredible. Times are changing, and what we're seeing is proof of it'. Declan thought to himself with a growing grin, taking notes to analyze the data of Rank-Up Evolution and Lulu's Pendulum Summoning. However, suddenly the alarms went off with the room flashing a red colour.
Claude gasped in surprise, while Declan narrowed his eyes a bit. "What's going on!?" Claude demanded in concern, although he was hoping that the mainframe wouldn't malfunction again as the last times had coasted them a big penny. "We're getting a massive energy reading from that monster!" A female worker answered as she and her co-workers typed away on their keyboards. "Is it Xyz energy?" Declan's right-hand man questioned the worker, while the silver haired youth remained silent.
"Yes, but it's not just that! We're also getting-!" The same female worker replied, before she was cut off as a chart and graph were pulled up on the big screen. There were two bars of energy rising up with one of them being black and the other green. It showed an energy reading for not just one but two summoning methods.
"We're also getting Pendulum energy from it as well!" The female worker added, causing Declan to widen his eyes and let out a small gasp as he shot up from his seat. Just like his boss, Claude was also shocked at what he heard as well. Declan then swiped his right hand out to the side as his face grew deadly serious. "Bring up an image on that monster's card, now!" He ordered, having a good idea what this meant and wanted to see if his suspicions were correct.
Several employees nodded to their boss and began typing away. In just a matter of seconds, the card layout of Neo Nightingale was pulled onto the big screen, where something shocking was shown.
It was a black card like any Xyz Monster, but it also had green trailing down at the bottom. It looked extremely like the the colour layout for a Pendulum Monster. Everyone stared at the image of Neo Nightingale's card in disbelief with some trying and failing to form words with their mouths. "Can it...really be?" Claude questioned, the shock he was experiencing leaking out of his voice. "It is. An Xyz Pendulum Monster". Declan answered the older male, eyes as wide as they could be as he stared at the image. Everyone was silent as they stared at the card's image, until the silence was broken by Declan's sudden laughter.
The young president of the Leo Corporation was elated right now. True, he had been shocked by Star-Eyes Savior Dragon's power of being a Synchro Pendulum Monster, but Neo Nightingale was proof that there was more to the new Summoning than he imagined. "Magnificent. So, Pendulum can evolve in more ways than just one. Just how many more answers are there?" Declan questioned, tilting his gaze up as the screen went back to showing the duel taking place.
