Chapter 2 - A Letter From Future Drew

Drew thought to himself as, the only distinct memory that was prominently repeating inside of his head was the dream of flying fireballs and the superhuman hovering over it.

He shamelessly pinched himself just to check if he was infact still dreaming or if he should spin a totem. It didn't matter, because the reality seem very real to him, he felt the presence of his body and mind in this reality. He didn't take it so seriously though, he was physically present here and the things were getting interesting.

The first thing anybody would think of is obviously look around the architecture of his surroundings as so he did, he began to explore it. He looking around while still being on the bed in almost utter disbelief, the bed was surprisingly big and also, kind of rectangular, he then examined his tables and walls. He saw a Polaroid photo lying pleasantly on the table and quickly, he sat up to look at it, in it was, himself and a girl that looked much shorter and younger than him. She had a somewhat slender and slim figure with features that highlighted her ears that were pointier, her eyes were bulbous pretty and shiny like there was a density of light stored in it and her face was the shape of an an acorn, which made her seem small and timid.

He pulled the photo closer to have a better look at it. At this point she didn't seem to look so human, she seemed to attain the attributes of an elf looking person even though it wasn't such a pleasant remark to give to somebody, the whole thing was still very interdimensional because to him this photo just looked unreal, as though he was photoshopped with a beautiful somewhat animated looking girl next to him. They looked different from one another, and that is what he thought to himself too. He still remained in a state of sheer contemplation.

Suddenly, there was a sound on the front door.

"Thud...." once, and paused for a few seconds,

"Thud Thud" twice again as though an intruder wanted to get into the home and to this realization he dreaded the thought of how he doesn't even remember how he got here inside this home.

It sounded like the heavy force of an object was used to create this ballistic sound.

He struck back a little bit and hesitated to find out what it was that was waiting outside his door. Yet, he also managed to keep his calm and with this natural innocence that was already embedded in him he continued to perpetuate in his inner dwellings of this moment. He was a little afraid, just like anybody would be but he wasn't deranged or a wimpy coward. Maybe he acquired some of his willpower and character establishment during the training he had to complete. He didn't drop the polaroid, it was still being held in his hand firmly as he showed no signs of fear or cowardice.

'Whatever i may be i have to go through this, i know this is the strangest phenomena taking place in my life but, why should i believe that this wouldn't happen to me. There's probably a reason why this is happening and im going to get trough this by myself with my sanity intact. I'm better than letting fear and judgement take control over me, i know i acquire pride that is carnal and mostly, it cannot be understood by others.' he thought

He walked towards the door, about 30 mtrs away from his bedroom, this door was sturdy, thick and made of hard iron and there was someone outside literally standing and expecting him to open it.

And out of curiosity he intended to traverse around the house quickly, for answers that he should be able to give to this stranger, it was a quickly driven wit that he couldn't avoid.

There was a sudden drop of the sound frequencies around him and the sound of certain distinct silence started to reverb in his ear drums, maybe he was capable of stopping time and this is what he thought instantaneously.

'I think i might have stopped time.' he thought to himself

He could stop time, it was an ability he responded to with sheer happiness tampered by selfishness that was hidden in his mischief, thinking in this moment that he should perhaps just go with it, and play along with whatever is to make its way into this reality that he is facing. He can move in the motion of space and time, which did feel normal to him as though it sunk into his own identity like the notion of timely absurdity blending with the catchy scenario and this was all playing in his own head.

He then decided to examine the location that he knew nothing about and now there was no locomotion nor was there any kind of noise from the outside world, he felt alone and the sound of loneliness kept ringing inside his ears. He opened the window shutter blinds with his two fingers and discovered a rather comical sight of a dry ocean beach which beautifully stretched 10kms far from the beginning of the sea water. It was quite an odd sight to witness, he never felt or imagined such a place before; meanwhile the sun was setting in the horizons of the ends of the sea, as he complimented the beauty of a true phenomenon that was a beautiful yet a scary sight to see.

The door in his room contained a 6ft tall, heavy metal guarded front door.

"How strange, a door made of metal. It might as well be a robot." He said while tapping on it with his finger to determine his examination of it.

An entrance lead its way to the drawing room which surprisingly, yet again, was just next to the front door. A long and stretchy void looking common room setting placed in an awkward but really stylish post modern high tech cyber mojo jojo manner. It also certainly looked like a hallway passage which wasn't clear enough since there wasn't enough light that disclosed it.

Theres something else that caught Drew's attention, it was identified as a beamer, a beamer of light, some kind of an advanced tech instrument.

The ones Sohnindura Tech Company introduced 2 years ago, they used it to test if they could switch the positions of a car when it wasn't defined by motion; inside these transition tunnels where private transportations moved at a certain speed of 500-600kms/hr (some say that it even moves at the speed of light). The test was based on the ability to teleport a vehicle from one port to the other so it wouldn't have to go through the hard underground walls in order to get to the other side of the destined direction, because that could cause potential damage, accidents and possible researches that needed ages of studying. Like studying the magic of science in order to apply it to modern technology. This hi-tech light beamer was powered by massive scales of energy was being tested instead so this vehicle could be transposition-ed straight into the port installed on the other side, in a matter of seconds.

'Aerospace engineering always intrigued me.' he thought to himself, he knew that he had so much time to cotton with. he looked around trying to sense any unfamiliarity but everything had an essence of his presence, he himself couldn't explain it in words.

After careful speculation he realized that this was a building located in the middle of nowhere in particular, barren lands across it with no sight of locomotion of a citydel powering it. He understood that he was in fact in a secluded area.

There was also a letter on the table and leaned towards it as he noticed it.

"Dear me, I kno that ive been extremely hard on myself from the start and it has now come to this; that you may or may not understand the adversities that you are experiencing. Right now, it may seem like you're in a confused state of presence, perhaps, even all alone by yourself, with memories that are colored in a series of a blurry picture painted for you. It may make you feel uneasy and reconsider the choices and judgements that you make but just remember that when given the choices you can make, once you make it, never regret making them and never look back into the past to change it again. Because no matter what you do, the future will always be the same, where we've reached now, it is a rather beautiful destiny and thats where i write to you from. Or it could alter the consequences and the sufferings that you may face in the process. Stay head strong and positive never stray from what your heart seeks for yourself, the feelings are always real and authentic, you're a much special person.

We as humans were able to feel more unconscious collectively, so we stopped anticipating the consequences of the end of an era. There was noone to tell the world about these unforseen consequenses of our universe and what it was going to bear along with it. Yet, there is still hope, there is still light in the darkness of careless technology, you just need to trust in your path that which leads you to love, science is all about the love that is calling your heart, its not much more than that. Love is lost so is a galaxy but it is in your heart so is the galaxy and if it is there is still a chance to turn all that you will come to lose. Be aware of who to give it to because sometimes, they don't all deserve it. We lost "love" and they say that was the only reason for all of these untamed universal disorders that are out of its spheres. What i want to say is that, "Love is important, it always was even though you may not think so."

Don't be lured by the deceptions of temptations, just believe in the inner voice that is always there to guide you from the illusions, the ones that tend to get more and more difficult to tell.

You must make amends with the Gods and reign in love to heal the channel of light.
