He awoke from this sudden nap he slumbered into, and was startled at the sight of Lilo beside him, this time. His thoughts now suddenly frozen, just like his body.
Maybe he shouldn't have slept or stopped time back there because he didn't know how to prepare for the uncertainty of this unforseeable reality - and now he knew surely, that this, it wasn't even the future.
Although he had no memory of anything that happened with her before he found her on the bed next to him, but as he refreshed his memories from the time with her in that holographic plane he remembered that she seemed much ahead with the information she had about things like, the reality repeating itself.
He thought it was best if he just played along to discover things he hadnt known before, a taste of an unlikely alternative reality, from the paradoxities of 'most likely to not happen'. It was an instinct he could not have avoided. He didn't understand how things operated here because it also seemed quite lucid and dreamy.
She was different, not someone of his own kind, so he had a feeling that there may be consequences of outcomes he may not know how to deal with.
"You're up so early? It's just 6." She turned around and said as she saw him fondling on the bed.
"Yeah. I was about to go back to sleep but I couldn't." He replied
She moved closer to grab him by his shoulders and launched a kiss on his lips in the process but Drew pulled back slightly and to this she said.
"What ? Why are you acting strange so suddenly?" Lilo alerted
"I didn't act strange, Ive always been like this, Lilo." He said as he cuddled her in his arms.
Strangely enough life seemed more normal here, than before, there was no alteration of time nor were there holographic devices. Life was moving at a constant pace of time and there was human locomotion. At first he couldn't tell if it was all being hidden from him but later he realised that he was infact in a relationship with Lilo. She remembers this reality and the life she is living with Drew but Drew didn't. Sometimes he felt as though her purpose and the things she did didn't even relate to him which made him feel unimportant or in other words irrelevant in this reality. These paradoxes in between them were getting much bigger and she didn't realize them. It was somehow okay in this reality to treat your obsedian partner or your boyfriend of divergence as a subject of personal experiment.
The friends they had weren't mere strangers, most of them looked just like her, they were Elfs. Days went by as he kept thinking to himself about his envious inhibitions towards them and how he felt about them - this didn't change even though he thought it would. Yet, he kept reminding himself that there is another reality that is awaiting him. The one that he remembers more clearly at the Quantum holographic plane, and that was perceived as the main objective inside the list of visions he had during these times with her inside this reality. He felt that life was too fast, monotonous and grey the technology around them had become way too demanding of human life and the lessons on life he would've learnt were at stake.
"Why do you keep reading my variables and giving the information out to your friend, it's not like I'm cheating on you. Am I some kind of a lab rat to you, Lilo?" He said to her one day because he felt her scrutinizing the codes of his every present moment the fact that he was a human he now felt Lilos computer management in his cells.
"Lab rat? Why would you be a lab rat, you're much cuter than that." She chuckled "Besides, This isn't something wrong Drew, everyone does it. It shows clearly that you're on the wrong path of life though. Are you hiding something from me?" Lilo said as she grinned with a smile on her face and this turned Drew on a little bit.
'Gosh I hope I'm not stuck here, I need to find the perfect moment to go back into that reality. I don't know how but I think the answer is on one of her devices.' he thought
"Come here! Maybe youre a lab rat but a much precious one - a lab bunny." She giggled.
That night was the first time he felt what it was like to experience an intimate moment with someone like her, she was the type to really keep you waiting and wanting more of whats next, the crazy kinds that used the method of devices and other interference from it to drive your sexual arousal.
But all this was all a little too much for Drew beecause it wasn't something unusual.
Suddenly, as Drew was chained like a lab puppy to the bed while Lilo kept doing strange performances in front of him with that technology, his attention was drawn towards something else, something that emerged straight out of her device. At first it wasn't too clear...
