Chereads / The Awakened Conqueror / Chapter 50 - Soul Knowledge Transfer Technique

Chapter 50 - Soul Knowledge Transfer Technique

After witnessing the departure of the master and disciple, Kai shifted his focus to his two lovely companions.

"Now then, let's also engage in our own training, but before that, I need to get in touch with someone first," Kai said as he whipped out his phone, his fingers swiftly dialing a number.

Before the phone could even ring, the person on the other end immediately spoke up, as if anticipating Kai's call. "How's it going, brat?" Rick's voice echoed on the other side of the phone.

"Mr. Zhou has taken him as his disciple, it seems he has a soft spot for Xia Chen," Kai replied, conveying his observations.

"Of course he would, they share a similar history. No doubt he's reminiscing about his younger self, seeing himself in that young man. Hahaha!" Rick chuckled heartily, finding amusement in the twist of fate that had brought the two together.

"Really? It's hard to imagine, considering how powerful Mr. Zhou is," Kai expressed his disbelief, struggling to make sense of the fact that such a formidable man could be subjected to any form of bullying.

"See, I told you he's strong. You can't judge a book by its cover," Rick remarked knowingly.

And he continued, "Well, it's a long story. Anyway, why did you call me again?"

"Oh right. Can you teach me that technique? I want to teach my lover some techniques," Kai eagerly requested, his voice full of anticipation.

"Hmm. Are you referring to the Soul Knowledge Transfer technique? No, you're not ready for that yet," Rick responded with a serious undertone.

"Why? Do I need to reach a certain stage or something?" Kai asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Yes, and it's a much higher level. Your current abilities are not yet at that level. Besides, don't even think about attempting it. I know you're talented, but you need to be cautious. Mishandling this technique could cause severe damage to the recipient's soul, which is very difficult to heal.

The soul, relative to the human body, is one of the most fundamental parts of human life. if you're not careful, they might even end up as soulless beings or become retard," Rick cautioned, his words conveying the gravity of the situation.

Upon hearing Rick's advice, Kai couldn't help but gulp down nervously. He was relieved that he had the presence of mind to ask for guidance before making any hasty decisions. His plan was to teach Mae Ling a series of Martial Arts moves that she could learn quickly and practice on her own, even without his presence.

Feeling a surge of affection for Mae Ling and fearing that he had almost caused her harm, Kai reached out his hand and pulled her into a tight hug.

"What's wrong, Senior Brother?" Mae Ling asked, her curiosity evident in her voice.

She happily welcomed the hug, unaware of the turmoil in Kai's mind. However, Reika, having noticed Kai's distress, approached him with a worried expression.

Kai lifted his hand and offered Reika a reassuring smile, silently conveying that everything was all right. Yet, Reika, sensing the weight of his emotions, extended her hands, holding his free hand tightly to offer comfort. Witnessing these two beautiful women showing such genuine concern for him made Kai's heart swell with gratitude and affection.

'I need to be careful. One wrong move or wrong decision, and I might end up hurting them instead,' Kai thought as he swore in his heart.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the line, Rick could tell that Kai was deeply affected by his words. With a chuckle, he reassured him, "Hey, don't worry too much. Remember, I'm your Master. You can always come to me with any doubts or questions."

Kai let out a sigh of relief upon hearing his Master's words and managed to smile. "Thank you, Master. Despite being praised for my strength, I still have a lot to learn," Kai said, as he admitted humbly.

"Of course you do! You're still just a kid in my eyes. The strength you possess right now is merely the tip of the iceberg. Never settle for small gains," Rick advised, his tone brimming with wisdom.

Understanding his Master's point, Kai nodded. "I understand, Master."

"Not Master! Call me Grandpa instead!" Rick insisted playfully.

"Alright, Rick," Kai responded nonchalantly, earning a scowl from his Master.

"You little brat! Hmph! I'm hanging up now,"

Kai suddenly remembered something and said hurriedly, "Wait!" He then separated from Mae Ling and Reika. He went a little far from them and continued, "Can I buy the house you lent me?" Kai said in a low voice.

"What house?" Rick asked.

"The one in the Grand Monaco District," Kai reminded.

Recognition dawned on Rick's face, he replied, "Oh! The house that those middle class Families gave me to protect them. Well, I already transferred the ownership to your name. That house has long been yours."

"Really? I thought you would only lend it to me." Kai said, surprised by the answer.

"Well, you think you'll really care about that when you're like a walking corpse at that time? You didn't even bat an eye and just sleep like it was naturally your house and you are asking me now if you want the house?" Rick chuckled, as he teasingly remarked.

Realizing his own obliviousness, Kai scratched his face in embarrassment, admitting, "You're right. I didn't pay attention to those small details back then. My mind was clouded and I didn't care about anything."

Rick's demeanor softened as he understood, "You've recently turned over a new leaf, so it's understandable. Just promise me you won't go back to your old ways, or I'll give you a beating that even your new lovers won't recognize you."

In truth, this was Kai's real personality before he experienced the betrayal of his life. Thanks to the effect of the Little Conqueror, he returns to his real old self. But compared to before, he can now tell whom he should trust.

"In that case, I don't need to worry about them living in that house too," Kai muttered under his breath.

"Don't tell me, you want to turn that house into your very own harem mansion?" Rick said mischievously, catching on to Kai's mutter.

"Not really, it's just that the house holds a special meaning for me. It's where I spent the night with Rei," Kai admitted, blushing slightly.

"Well, well, well! So you've already done the deed, huh? Hahaha! I always told you to enjoy your youth, but I didn't think you'd be faster than your master in that department! As I expected from my talented disciple! But in terms of strength, you're still far below me," Rick said, laughing joyously.

"I'll surpass you in that regard too, just wait and see," Kai replied with determination, as if the title of the Little Conqueror was being challenged.

"Haha! I look forward to it! So, tell me, how was it?" Rick asked curiously.

"Do I really need to report back to you?" Kai questioned, feeling uncertain.

"Of course! I'm your Master!" Rick exclaimed proudly.

"Well, let's just say I got addicted to it. So, I might want to take on more women and have more experiences. I hope you don't mind," Kai confessed honestly.

He doesn't know what to do if Rick, his Master, was against the idea of indulging in women.

"Hahaha! Well, a woman's embrace can be a great comfort after a tough battle, providing immense pleasure. But be careful, my young disciple. If you don't handle them properly, they can become quite a headache," Rick warned.

"I'll keep that in mind," Kai promised.

After their banter, Rick and Kai ended their conversation. Kai started thinking about how he would teach Mae Ling in such a short amount of time when, as if by divine intervention, a system notification suddenly rang in his mind.
