"Card number one and four should kiss"

Ethan looked at the card in his hand and sees that he is number four this time, he glance through the room and his eyes rest on Alexandra, he doesn't need any word from her to know that she is the one with the number one card.

Antonio smiles seeing the discomfited look on their faces and glance at Julie who laughed

"Come on you two, don't be a party pooper and just do it" Julie said

Alexandra glare at her friends in disapproval, she should have guessed that this was their intention when they suggested they play a dare game

"Is this your idea? I told you to stop trying to force things between us" Alexandra told them but Antonio doesn't seem to care

The four of them have been friends since they were little but Alexandra and Ethan have known each other longer which makes it difficult for others to believe there is nothing between them including their close friends

"You don't have to have feelings to kiss, Julie and I are also not dating but we've kissed a few times" Antonio insisted

"You know that is not going to happen" Alexandra declared and turned to Ethan who remained quiet

Ethan and Alexandra were almost switched at the hospital due to the nurse's mistake and that has lead to the friendship between their parents which extend to them and they became even closer when Alexandra's parent moved into a villa closer to Ethan's

"Aren't you going to say something to stop them?" Alexandra asked pulling his shirt

"We will take the punishment" Ethan stated in his deep sexy voice and stood up from the chair to get the bucket of ice from the fridge for their punishment in failing to do the challenge

"Okay…" Antonio shrugged knowing he can't argue with him and stood up to take the bucket from him

"Hey Alexandra, get yourself here" he called to her and she stood up from her seat and gets ready to be beaten with a bucket of ice each, Ethan pull Alexandra closer to himself and uses his body to cover hers completely as the cold ice pour down on him.

"I will get you a towel" Alexandra said as water drip from her hair and hurried to get a towel for him and hand it over without bothering about herself

"Should I get you some clothes to change into?" Alexandra asked and turned back immediately to go and get them in her room but he stopped her

"I know my way around" Ethan said and made his way into the room to grab some clothes for himself amongst the ones he left behind whenever he comes to sleep over at her place

Ethan opened her closet and finds it disorganized as usual, he move her things aside and pick a black shirt for himself then search inside to search his green and favorite short.

"Alex! Where is my short?" he called out to her when he couldn't find it

"Used and dirty" she answered him from the door and comes inside

"That's why I offered to bring you clothes myself" Alexandra said and sat down on her Queen-sized bed.

"I told you to stop wearing my clothes" Ethan replied and finds another trouser he can put on

"You can also wear my clothes and besides, your shorts are so comfortable, I just can't help but wear them" she replied nonchalantly

"I need to change my pants" he told her

"Go ahead" Alexandra said and continues to stare at him then realize what he meant

"Nothing I haven't seen before dude" she said laughing but Ethan isn't finding it funny.

Knowing she is not going to listen to him and leave, he made his way into the bathroom to change his clothes then return with a small towel in his hand and walk closer to Alexandra who is busy on her phone.

"You are done…"

Ethan held her shoulders stopping her words and helped her to wipe her hair with the towel in his hand, Alexandra smile and drop her phone, she takes in his scent as he continue to dry her hair and the two remain silent for the next minute.

"What do you say that we kiss and clear everyone's doubt about our relationship?" Alexandra said jokingly

Ethan takes a step backwards subconsciously hearing her words trying to understand if she really means it

Alexandra usually say things without much thinking but not him, he is usually serious with his words and most importantly, the fact that he feels more than a friendly affection for her

"Don't you need to change your clothes?" Ethan asked after a few seconds deciding to ignore her words, if he tries to joke around on the topic she might actually kiss him

"You don't have such feelings for me right?" Alexandra throws another question at the unprepared Ethan and the towel in his hand dropped…

Their parents began to ship them together as a couple since they turned thirteen and usually joke around the topic but Alexandra really hates the idea but Ethan feels the opposite

He has always been careful in his interactions with her ever since but it seems she is trying to push him tonight and he doesn't feel comfortable about it

He has kept his growing feelings for her to himself for the past three years and doesn't want to give himself away, not now that they just admitted to the same college

"What nonsense are you going on about? Change your clothes" he said moving farther away from her

"I don't need to, I am fine" Alexandra shrugs and gives up on teasing him

"I am not, you might catch a cold" he said and went to fetch her another cloth then hand it over to her

Alexandra throws the dress away on the bed and suddenly wraps her hands around him, Ethan is taken aback by the sudden intimate contact and tries to pull away from her but Alexandra held on tighter and rests her head just below his abdomen causing a pleasurable dance in his heart.

'What are you doing?" he managed to voice out before he lose it

Alexandra raise her head and stare at him with her beautiful green eyes in a cute way, Ethan gets a hold on himself realizing she just want to get something from him and calm down

"Do you want to go with me for a…"

'No I don't" he immediately rejects her realizing it's one of her trick to try and convince him to go to the amusement park with her.

"Why do you hate going to the park?" she complained

"Alexandra" Ethan called

He has been debating on telling her about his feelings for so long, maybe he could use this chance to go to the park with her and tell her about it

"What is it? Why do you look so serious?" Alex questioned

Before Ethan could say something, her phone start to ring and she pick it up seeing it's her dad.

"Hi dad I am at home with Ethan" she said and her countenance changed the next second.

"Okay dad I am on my way" she said again and end the call then stood up from the bed in a hurry

Ethan is curious to know what happened and why her mood is changed all of a sudden but Alexandra doesn't want to explain to him and she just bolt out of the room to get her car keys downstairs.

He followed her into the living room where Antonio and Julie are still having fun; he stops her just before she opens the door to leave

"What happened?' he questioned and feels more anxious seeing the worried look on her face

"Nothing, I am going to meet my dad"

'Should I come with you?" he offered but she declined, her father already told her not to bring him along and to come alone

"I think he wants to discuss something important with me" she said and left

Ethan is very worried but didn't follow after her and went back to the living room, Antonio and Julie comes to him and asked him what happened

"Nothing her dad called" he answered them and went to get a bottle of water for himself then receive a message from his sister but ignores it.

"What have you two been doing inside?" Antonio asked mischievously but Ethan shoo him away.

He sat down and pondered on his thoughts about telling Alexandra how he really feels, it seems like she really had no such feelings for him but he also can't seem to stop his
