"Anyway, what should we do now? I have already promised her for dinner."
"Leave it! I would've allowed you to go if your schedule were too empty. But right now you have more important matters in hand. I have some papers on which you have to get Akira-sama's wife signature on it."
"Sorry. I have already told you. I am not doing anything illegal. I am not forcing her sign off her property paper to you."
Seriously, It has become such a common trope in romance operas that it truly seems outdated. Also, I am against criminal activities too!
But then what the hell am I doing at this.. Isn't impersonation also a crime?
No, Adachi, no, you got the permission with the person himself. Hence, it's not a crime.
"I will kill you seriously. What property papers?? These papers are just a formality for the upcoming company's annual celebration."
Ohhh!
Well I don't trust her that much but whenever she says something with her furious eyes I get a feeling that I have to believe her no matter what.
"Then what should we-?"
"Don't ask the same question again!... No, Actually leave it! We don't have time for that. We need that signature by tomorrow morning as I have to submit them to our Tokyo Branch Office. So, listen.." and she took a pause to think and continued, "Just ignore her."
"Huh!"
"I mean don't stay up to date and from now on continue not to notice her. She is a sharp, cunning bitch but I don't think she has anything against Akira-sama. She is the least of my concern right now!"
Well, Kana-san is not wrong in this. Also, it's absolutely common for rich filthy brats to break their promises. I have seen it in Indian Soap Operas, K-dramas, and that Hollywood movie about some chocolate factory.
She finally opened the door and commanded me to come.
Following her steps, I exited the building and entered the parking lot, where the vintage car was parked at the topmost corner of that place. And we entered the car where the driver was already present.
Unlike the morning, those extra cars were nowhere to be seen and when Kana-san instructed the driver he started driving.
"Here, take this." She commanded me while handing out a file.
I quickly took it from her and placed it on my lap.
And she further continued, "We would be there in a few minutes. So, listen to my words carefully, and carve it in your blank brain."
That's rude of her! She really hates me. Does she hate my face? I feel maybe she hates Akira personally. But now that I think about it she always talks about him with respect. So maybe she hates only me as she has to act as my junior in front of others. Yeah maybe that's the case…
"Akira's sama's wife's name is Aya Shimizu. He calls her Aya. She is a severe alcoholic who gets massive mood swings. She often gets violent too. So, be prepared for these situations. She is extremely rude to Akira-sama which makes me slice her tongue out…"
She doesn't sound like a very nice person to be around with.
What's wrong with you Akira? Why are all the women around you so violent? I am scared…
To control the chills that I was getting, I said, " Driver sir, Can you please lower the AC a little please. It's my humble request."
And Kana-san continued after that, "No matter what you have to get her signature by tomorrow morning. You have to spend the night there. And one last note before you go: Don't try to force her too much."
My hands collapsed while I looked at her with my puppy eyes, "Kana-san, Please… Why am I signing off on my death warrant? Getting a signature was one thing. But spending a night there sounds dangerous. Please let me go!
But Kana-sama outright rejected my pleads and as usual placed her eyes outside the window.
So before the battlefield, I took a few deep breaths to calm myself until that moment came when we reached the place…
The story to be continued..
See you in the next episode!
