She was silent after that, I mean utterly silent. She spoke no further. She was lying on the side, her eyes fixated on the wall. I didn't understand what she was finding interesting over there but since she was not yelling and hurting my ears, I am thoroughly content with her choice.
I went to the kitchen and brought a glass of water and gave it to her. After how much her stomach threw out of it, I think it's necessary for her body to have some water. When I instructed her to drink it, slowly and steadily, I was absolutely certain that she would just throw the water directly to my face, yet to my surprise she followed my command and without further drinking it and again lay in the same position.
Should I go now? Or should I stay here?
There was a slight itchiness in my eyes and I knew the reason behind it. Whenever I don't get enough sleep, this happens to me.
As I sat beside her I took a loud yawn.
I really want to close my eyes and sleep right now!!
Even though I wanted to sleep, I was avoiding it till she slept. If she sleeps, I would be certain that she is well as for now but if I sleep before her, I know for even if she had a heart attack, she would not wake me and with how much sleep in do not disturb mode, not even new-gen speakers can wake me up.
With how much my eyes were burning, I occasionally gave them a light massage with my fingers.
I too need a nice body massage. Don't you think so too?
I was sitting there for about ten and neither of us tried to initiate a conversation. When I looked at her, there were signs of drowsiness, she was still fixated on that wall.
Is there anything like a wall fetish which I am not aware of?

While I gave a chuckle to my own joke, she spoke to me in a hard voice, "Are you going to stay there the whole night?"
I turned to her and replied, "No, I, too, like a normal human, like to sleep at night. And I will sleep after this."
She looked at me puzzlingly and asked, "After what?"
"After you sleep."
She almost froze for a second and I noticed her cheeks were becoming slightly pink. Then she took another moment to look into my soul.
"What happened to you? Are you unwell? Did you fall on your head?"
Somehow I found it so funny, I laughed at her question and complimented her and said "Ha-ha-ha. Nice joke!"
"Even this! This is so unlike you, Miyamoto. How did you change so much in just two months? Last time you came you were not behaving like this."
"..."
Two months! They really need to get separated.
"Get lost. I am not a child that needs to be pampered by you. You don't need to take care of me. You are under no obligation. We both are under a contract, that's all."
I seriously didn't understand any of her statements, so I replied how I think Akira should react in this situation.
"You're not a child. You're my wife. How can I leave at this time? I think it's perfectly normal to help our loved ones. It's not about you only, I would've helped anyone in your case. And I don't know about contracts, but if I feel someone needs my help, I can help. I will do it."
I never consider myself as a hero because I always help even if they have to sacrifice themselves in the process. I am a selfish person and I always think about myself and my loved ones before anything else. But I still don't think you need a reason to help someone if you can. I mean what's wrong with giving someone some money to those in need if you have surplus, or giving someone a pencil if you have two.
She seemed displeased by my words, her face had become tomato red and her eyes were gleaming with fire. Suddenly she turned around and thrusted her face in pillows.
"Get lost!! I don't want you near me."
I stood up and was about to leave the room when I thought that I should get her signature while she was awake. I remember that Kana-san had told me that she would come by 8 am tomorrow.
Who knows if she would wake up early?
"Hey, I want your signatures on some company papers. If you are awake, can you sign them now?"
"..."
But no response came from her side. I don't know if she was sleeping or just acting. But if she didn't want to do it, I really can't force her to do it.
Ahh god! Now I have to wake up early tomorrow and then try again. God dammit it! It is frustrating now.
Then I walked out of the room and closed the door.
I laid myself on the sofa where she was sleeping in the evening and before I noticed, like before, I went to a slumber.
