Shenghua Group Vice President's Office.
A spacious office, luxurious decoration—all showcasing the immense financial strength of Shenghua Group. However, in stark contrast, there was a white Samoyed happily running around in the office under its owner's command.
"Kachi, come here, good, jump, jump again." A face that exuded charm and handsomeness was currently smiling with joy because of the dog's splendid performance.
A knock on the door.
"Come in." Tianhao frowned discontentedly. Damn secretary, he told her to stop disrupting him.
Secretary Vivi cautiously pushed the door open, peeking through and noticing the white dog around Tianhao. Tianhao was sitting at his large desk.
Vivi breathed a sigh of relief, entered the room, but didn't dare to approach. Instead, she stood at the door and began reporting on work to Vice President Tianhao.
"Vice President, there's a mid-level meeting scheduled for 4:30. The CEO wants you to attend and announce some new appointment decisions. Here's the list."
Vivi awkwardly held up the list, glancing at the dog, unsure whether to approach or leave the list on the floor.
Tianhao's eyes flickered, and he wickedly smiled. Snapping his fingers at 'Kachi' by his feet, he said, "Kachi, go fetch the document for me."
As if understanding Tianhao's command, Kachi leaped towards Vivi.
"Oh my god." Vivi no longer cared about her image, dropped the list, and ran out of the Vice President's office.
Tianhao burst into triumphant laughter. That damned old man forced him to come to the office by blocking his economic resources, so he decided to make some "achievements" and make the old man beg him not to come to the company later.
Tianhao picked up the list, intending to continue training Kachi. However, he noticed a new email notification on his laptop under the desk.
Opening the email, he found it was from his brother Tianchen.
The email roughly stated that the French branch was running smoothly, and Tianchen planned to return soon. He missed his family and wanted to surprise them. He mentioned bringing someone back and giving the family an unexpected surprise. Tianhao wasn't given more details about the surprise, but Tianchen hinted that it would involve a woman.
"Fantastic! Tianchen is coming back, and my devilish workdays will finally come to an end." Tianhao thought excitedly. He adjusted his tie, picked up the appointment list, and headed to the conference room.

For three days and nights, every time Xiaolu calls Junwei, either his phone was off or it went straight to voicemail. She couldn't find him at the convenience store either. A sense of concern gradually crept into Xiaolu's heart. Looking at her seemingly normal abdomen, she couldn't help but worry about her and the baby's future.
"Xiaolu..." Convenience store employee Tao, seeing Xiaolu hovering here for three days, couldn't bear it any longer. Hesitantly, she wanted to say something to Xiaolu.
"Tao, what's wrong? Do you know where Junwei went? I can't find him, and I'm really worried."
"I, I know... oh, I don't know." Tao's face turned red.
"Tao, do you know something? Please tell me. I'm looking for Junwei for something very important."
"I... It's Mr. Xu's mother. She seems to have learned about your relationship with boss, and she said your family conditions are too poor. So, she doesn't allow Mr. Xu to be with you."
Xiaolu felt a thunderbolt in her head. The dreaded event she was worried about had happened.
"Tao, how do you know?"
"It was Mr. Xu's mother who came to me and said that these days, Mr. Xu isn't allowed to come to the store. In a few days, they will send someone else to help me. Also, if you come looking for Mr. Xu, just say you don't know where he is."
Tears welled up in Xiaolu's eyes. She nodded at Tao and said, "Thank you, I'm leaving."
"Xiaolu, please, don't say it was because of me. I don't want to lose this job."
"Rest assured, Tao, I won't say anything. Goodbye."
Xiaolu walked aimlessly on the street. It seemed that Junwei was confined by his family. What should she do now? Although she always disliked children, the time spent with this one in her belly for more than a month had stirred a maternal instinct in her. In any case, she had to see Junwei and tell him about the baby. Maybe, maybe, he would plead with his parents to accept her and the child, or for the sake of love, they could elope.
