Nova woke up with a start, immediately going alert at the sight of Roan casually working on his laptop just across the room from her, "Roan?" She called in surprised, sitting up.
He looked up at her and relaxed against the sofa he was seated on, "How was your nap?"
"Did I- Did I sleep off?" She asked in dismay, disappointed that she had made Roan wait. A quick glance at the time showed her that it was well past three PM, just how long had she been asleep?
"After we agreed to move our lunch date," Roan casually responded, clicking a few buttons on his laptop before closing it shut.
"Wait, what?" Nova frowned, she didn't remember having a conversation with Roan. And had he just said lunch date?
