When Victoria opened her eyes, she found herself in her chambers lying on her bed. Cyra stood close by, dusting the furniture unaware of Victoria being awake.
"Cyra," She said, quietly.
Cyra turned around, amber eyes watching as Victoria sat up. "Yes, my Lady?"
"What time is it?"
"Around noon, my lady." Cyra replied.
Victoria looked around, didn't she fall asleep at King Alvar's study? Why was she here all of a sudden?
"How did I get here?" Victoria questioned.
"The King, he carried you in his arms. He instructed me to not wake you up until you woke up on your own."
Victoria flushed, he carried her in his arms? All the way from his study to her chambers? Was he careful so no one would see them and start any rumours? "...Oh." Was all that she could say. He could have just left her there, or woke her up so she could get back to her room on her own. Why did he take the pain to carry her himself?
