Chapter 32 - Pawns

Eating breakfast with the other ladies at the huge dinning hall wasn't common, infact this was the first time she had done so and it didn't take long before Victoria realized that she would prefer it if they never did this sort of thing ever again.

They were at one of the castle's extravagant dining halls, and unlike the King's private dark aesthetic dining hall (the same hall she tried murdering him with in) this one was bright, lively with the girls giggling and chatting, soft music playing by a harpist in the corner of the large room, a bright golden chandelier above the table, as well as the aroma of seemingly never ending assortment of Alcazarian delicacies.

So why did Victoria wish not to have another dinner like this one again? Simple, because Freya was there.

And Freya was unfortunately capable of speaking.
