Victoria found herself sitting at the desk opposite him, her hands were still bound with rope as she listened to his explanation of what the Selection Tournament was.
"The selection tournament is a special occasion, mainly because it is rare and had been hardly conducted by previous rulers. Women participating in the Selection are to compete in three rounds of the competition, I will not inform of what they are exactly, but I suppose with your experience in the battlefield you'll stand a chance in them. The winner of the Tournament is supposed to get public favor due to how strong you are to defend your land as Queen and you can also catch the King's attention."
"That sounds desperate." Victoria commented, "I thought The Selection was just women trying to out do each other by beauty and accomplished skills…you've actually got women fighting each other."
