Damien never minded how Emma spent the money he provided.
Emma, however, began to panic. "My grandmother?" Recalling her grandmother's behavior during the day, she grabbed her phone to call, but her grandmother didn't answer.
"You don't need to buy houses. Just tell me, and you can pick any – a garden house or a villa, whichever you prefer," Damien's eyes were cold, his disdain for Emma evident.
Money was spent, and he never grumbled, so why hide?
This woman is really inconsistent, she says one thing and does another.
The next day, Emma, furious, rushed to her grandmother's house.
Upon arrival, she found people busily moving things. "What's happening here?"
Seeing Emma, her grandmother's face lit up with joy. "Emma, you're here? Help us pack, we're moving to a new house."
"What? Grandmother, did you use my card to buy a house?"
